I was trying to sync my contacts from my phone to my SD card before switching ROMs since Backup Assistant doesn't work.
Anyways, my phone froze while it was synchronizing my contacts, but apparently got them all anyways. Only problem is, since it froze, I assumed they didn't all go through and I tried over and over again. Well, now I have all of my contacts 8 times and it wants to link them all together.
Never have I been so annoyed with my contacts.
Is there any way of erasing the 7 extra listings of each contact I don't need?
Do I have a long day ahead of me by manually deleting them 1 by 1 off of my list? Or is their sync files I can find with root browser and just delete them?

If you flash another rom that has backup assistant working would it only list your contacts once? would that be easier than deleting all those?

No. It would put my contacts back but it would still sync them from my SD card and link them all together again. Plus my SD card would still have wasted space of multiple backups of the same contacts written on it.
I suppose I could delete all contacts from my SD card, download a ROM with working backup assistance... if there is one, and then save them to my SD again.
But I don't even know where the contacts sync to my SD in order to delete them.

So, I moved all my social apps (twitter, facebook, tumblr, last.fm) to my sd card, but now everytime I restart the phone, I have to type my usermane and password all over again, because the phone won't save it. Is it because I moved them? Is there a way to fix it?
Hey guys,
My questions is why Titanium can't ever restore some of my apps username and password data on some apps.
Apps like Bluebird (prepaid debit card) app, Dropbox, Xfinity, and a few others.
Is this because they have that data encrypted on another level maybe and Titanium just can't restore that information?
Thanks alot for the help,
Travis
edit: I have the Galaxy Nexus GSM, the one from google play
According to Titanium BackUp, I've got 1.5 GB of media files that I can't account for. Some might be the dozen or so ringtones and notification files I have (in mp3 format). Some might be my GMail account, but I can't find where on the internal storage drive the GMail files might be to verify this (and maybe do some creation deletions or re-directs). I've wiped out all my photos after transferring them to Dropbox, except for my wallpaper. Texts are routinely deleted, so that's not it.
I have the Samsung Galaxy Blaze, and if this needs to be re-directed, please do. The phone was successfully rooted, but my memory issues still stand (argh) in spite of the deletion of numerous bloatware programs and pushing most, if not all, of my user apps to the SD card.
Any help and/or thoughts would be appreciated.
I am using Parallel Space app in Android.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lbe.parallel.intl&hl=en
The purpose of this app is to allow dual account creation. Thus, I am able to use two different WhatsApp accounts on a single device, wherein one account is on Whatsapp app and second account is on emulated Whatsapp via Parallel Space app.
Now I want to switch the data from Parallel Space Whatsapp to originial Whatsapp on another device.
Is there a way to backup the Whatsapp account stored in Parallel space and copy it to original whatsapp app? Or else what all file do I need to copy from Parallel Space to original whatsapp?
Previously I tried using Titanium Backup but all I was able to do is to move Whatsapp.apk and Parallel Space.apk to newer device with the accounts.
I wish to discontinue using ParallelSpace and use Whatsapp instead.
Since, I am not having the registered mobile number stored on Parallel Space account, I cannot simply create a new account.
Move your backup from parallel space virtual account to new mobile real physical acco
@anuragkanase
Go in your parallel space whatsapp account create a chat backup on google drive.
Now put the sim card in your new mobile where you want to use real physical whatsapp without parallel space and then make sure the phone is connected to internet when you install whatspp on new phone.
Put the number and regester on whatsapp now it will ask you to restore backup, select the option of google drive.. now you will have a real physical account with all your data, chat history, and also all contacts intact..
Hope this helps..
Feel free to reply back.
