What are you trying to do? If you are just reflashing your phone to factory, all you need is that .pit file in the pit section, and that.tar file in the pda section. Everything else is included.

Yeah, if it was water damaged, and was powered on while in the water, im not sure any amount of files will fix it. If it was powered off, I would suggest pulling the battery and letting it dry out for several days.

Using odin to flash stock doesn't necessarily make it phone stock physically

1) odin to stock
2) install froyo bootloader
3) root
4) rom manager and install CWM recovery
5) install custom rom personally using (Bionix v 1.3.1 with bali 1.8.8UV kernel)
before you install any custom ROM i would recommend stay on stock and see if the problem still occurs if it does...then most likely it's a hardware problem...that's my guess...GOOD LUCK...
hi, i root odin 2.1. but it still turn off everytime......
hi all, i try to root directly to t959uvkb5.tar but it missing the dbdata.rfs.
my question is the only one with dbdata.rfs is the t-mobile .tar file?? and i should root to stock then flash the t959uvkb5.tar (no re-partition) ?? and if that is the case can i make a .tar file from othe working vibrant (2.2) to root my phone using that .tar???

Your problem is you flashed files for the wrong phone. These are the forums for the samsung galaxy s vibrant (t959). You need the forums for the samsung galaxy s 4g (t959v). They are two totally different phones and are not compatible.

[Q] Att Galaxy note

Hello
I was running liquid smooth jellybean rom on my att i717 Galaxy note. so i tried to go back to stock. i flashed ics stock rom using odin, the phone rebooted but won't go pass the att log, it just reboots and sticks at the log. it says 5 counts when i go back into odin mode. Am i doomed or is there hope and if so, what can i do?
Flash it again but wait a bit. Samsung has a lot of bloat it loads up
