Same here. Try the 0.0.1-beta. It worked for me. The older version worked but not the new 0.2 version. However, with 0.0.1-beta, only the first time after the installation works, the following reboots don't work. In order for it to work again, I have to reinstall again. Anyone knows why?

happened to me yesterday when i wanted to install a new ROM through recovery. every time i try to go to recovery, it didn't worked, though i had checked a night before that it was working fine. only thing i could think of was to recharge the battery, it was 52%, i charged it full and tried again and it worked.
i dunno if this is the solution, but it could be a solution

I repeatedly clicked it, not hold, yet I got frozen at the sony ericsson page. It was working the first time, when I first installed it. Then, after rebooting, it got frozen.

never had that problem myself. but try to install 0.2 xrecovery again, it should take 7-10 taps of the back button. if that doesnt work. reflash to a 2.1 firmware, install busy box, z4 root or one click root, xrecovery. power off try again

Thanks for the help. Tried them all. I've tried spam press, fast press, slow press, 0.2 just doesn't work. It hangs. When I don't press it, it reboots normally.
0.0.1-beta works, but just for the first time after installing. Freezes the next reboot. To make it work again, I need to install again. That's as far as I found out on how to make it work

try using flashtool. directions are in the link.
U mentioned you have a x10i correct, then pick the firmware you want with the x10i with the latest baseband. if you still have questions, keep asking.
rooting is next if you go that route then, flashing ROMS, which are associated with a baseband
here is the link for flashtool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746
Yeah dude, use flashtool.... just flash it back... tht worked for me... i bricked my phone once.... now its rollin again....
how long did you leave it on the SE screen for?? sometimes mine takes a minute to boot through that?

ok, i`ll try...
i can`t place my phone in Flashmode he gonna automatic to the Sony Ericsson logo...
What did i wrong?...
fire up SEUS, get to the bit where it say to connect your phone.
take the battery out for 10 seconds or so..
plug the micro USB cable into your phone only..
hold the back key (and keep it held until SEUS tells you to release it later in the process), push the battery back in
push the USB cable into your PC.
Should boot up into flash mode and SEUS will do it's thing!.
Done it before
Hi mate done it today since im new at rooting if you were trying to install a theme or rom, you might not have their firmware, if this is the case then you just from that Sony Ericsson screen keep pushing the Back or <-- key, this will boot you into xrecovery and just restore... if you havent made a back up, then you could try replace the rom you have back with the Se offical 2.1 rom which you can find in Android dev. and just launch it back with that... Hope this worked!!
Hi
I've just updated my x10mini using SEUS and I had app2sd.
I don't know why, but it does not start. It keeps reestarting after reaching the SE Logo screen.
I can't turn it off to try something because my battery is not accecible. Can Anyone help?

Thanks for your answer. But do you know if I turn my phone off this way and then conect to SEUS to reflash it again it will bring it back to live?
Because I didn't do anything wrong when I was updating my phone, I believe it happened because I had app2sd and deleted some native apps.
Thanks

Dude this things turn ur phone Off as well as when you use SEUS atleast u can reflash your ROM.....!!!!
Do sum steps as following to reflash Correctly-:
Don't plug the USB.....pls follow the STEPS!!!
1. Turn your phone off using this method.
2. Start SEUS on your PC.
3. Choose your phone model(x10 mini/pro),--> Next-->When it shows instructions press the back button and hold...while holding it,plug the USB to your dead phone and hold it till it shows stable green light and the process will be started.....
4. And OMG your ROM is now Reflashed....
Enjoy.....!!!!!
Thanks for your attention. My problem is now solved.
Unfortunately I didn't do as said in the first comment of the toppic, by pulling of the little rubber around the cammera, but as said in the other posts along the thread, by pressing menu button + on/off button + back button. It really worked.
Thanks fot sending me that thread anyway.
Have a nice day.
Dear all!,
First of all, whant to thanks all of you for doing this great job in our phones
I´m using ROM of Randeiro (cyanogen 6 V001) and after one month o more using the rom, the phone doesn´t work
I can unblock de SIM but then it shows the message as writed in Title:
Sorry: Process System is not reponding.
and then it start with a bootloop..
I´d tried to boot in recovery, but i can´t...
The last thing i´ve done is to install the newest version of busybox, nothing more.
maybe that´s the problem, i don´t know.
What do you recomend ?
thank for your help!

Not able to boot or?
you'll have to reflash with sony ericsson update service here:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/supp...10?cc=gb&lc=en
Follow the instructions and press the back button before plugging in the cable.
Download the software and keep in mind that playing around with roms will result in these problems so don't go too far.
If that doesnt work, try this:
1. Take your battery out.
2. Hold the back button. Make SEUS running and ready.
3. Plug it into the computer.
4. Put your bateery back in.
Follow the instructions. Hopefully it would work and good luck
If it worked dont forget to hit thanks button.

That is the problem. Recovery needs its own busybox so installing any other causes bootloop.

I have been visiting this site ever since I first read about X10 & was fascinated by it (I have always loved SE phones). Anyway, I have since gotten an X10i (AT&T) & have de-branded it as well as unlocking & rooting it. Here goes:
I installed Champs' Rom (x10sV9-addon) but didn't want all the clutter he had pre-installed. To make a long story short, I went back to Wolf's ROM via Xrecovery but something went wrong. I can no longer boot into Xrecovery & after SonyEricsson logo, screen goes blank, not black/blue just blank. The other problem is, since I can't see the screen, I can't turn on the USB connection so my PC/Flashtool/SEUS can recognize my device so I can fix it. This happened while trying to re-install Wolf's ROM & installing the following zip files via Xrecovery: Bravia_Xloud engine, Xperia S Player, Champ + Bar, x10_gb_stock_wifi_modules. Then I rebooted & I get the blank screen. I know it is on because I can turn the volume all the way down to vibrate. The "home" button still lights up. PLEASE, I need someone's help with this one as I am no expert, just a moderate tinkerer. ANY help/incite would be appreciated. Sorry, I can't even give you any screenshots. Can anyone out there help me out? Thanx in advance.

RE: Blank Screen After Flashing Custom ROM
Thanx for getting back to me so fast. As I said, the screen is blank. That is, the backlit display works but I can see nothing else. The "Home" button lights up when i press it but the display does nothing. If/When I reboot to try to enter XRecovery, I see the SonyEricsson logo followed by the backlit screen & nothing else. The Volume up/down buttons work as I am able to silence the phone by turning volume all the way down to vibrate. Because I cannot see what's on the display, I cannot turn USB on/off to connect to PC to run SEUS/Flashtool, etc. I.E. I cannot fix the device. Usually I just boot into XRecovery to fix a problem like this but that doesn't work.

hy, install sony update service and repair your phone, then install again custom rom, the indications how to repair your phone software is in the program.

I wish I had gotten this solution sooner. Not sure if it would have mattered. When trying to use Flashtool I kept getting an error saying my phone was not in "flash mode".
I solved my problem by flashing using Omnius & flashing firmware 'X10i_generic_SE_24_MultiTouch.rar'. This got my phone back but it was only 2.1 so I used 'DooMLoRD_v4_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su' to get me back to 2.3, but this is where I'm at. I had Wolf's firmware before but right now I have no xRecovery installed. I thought I had rooted my phone but xRecovery isn't installed nor is Busybox.. Any ideas? Thanx in advance...EVERYONE @ XDA-DEVELOPERS rox!

C if u can repair phone using SEUS now. Open the software without connecting phone. N then go to the update part. It should give u a repair option. Then follow those steps. Or else just connect ur phone n then start software. When it tells u ur phone is up to date click on that n then click on "repair". Then use the latest flashtool to root. Recoveries come with kernels so just flash a custom kernel.

Ur welcome i don't think u need help you just flashed a custom ROM.. the procedure for installing ICS is the same. Although it'd be better if you are on stock before installing it.. just look for an ICS ROM that u like (I'm using feralab n it works like a charm).
Get the kernel n ROM.. as usual, put the ROM zip on ur SD card, flash the kernel, install ROM from recovery
Although before installing:
1. In recovery go to mounts n storage
2. Format system data n cache
3. Mount system, data n cache (note that if the mounting is successful the options should change to unmount system, unmount data, unmount cache respectively)
4. Then install ROM
5. The installer is GUI based so it'll guide u really well through the installation

Try a repair with SEUS or PC Companion first to get you back on stock. If the phone works like that, it may have been a problem with the ROM. Maybe a corrupted download or something like that.

If you made a backup before you flashed the custom ROM you can install xRecovery or CWM again and do an advanced restore and choose data to get your data back Making backups is always recommended ofcourse.
