Ok I downloaded the r2 sense Rom from modaco on my g2. And now I can't send picture messages it always says unable to send message after multiple attempts generic network failure .... can someone pleas help me? Is there a way to fix it or do I have to just ditch the Rom and go back? But I really like the sense Rom.

I'm running Froyo 2.2 Stock Deoxed version on my Samsung Vibrant and I just received my first MMS since I installed JL4 and I get the error message "unable to download, please try later" (or something along those lines).
I know that there have been issues with blurry pictures and also I have seen some send issues, but not been able to track down an issue with not being able to download at all. I would like it to work with my current ROM without having to reflash. So if we do have a solution on the issue please let me know.
I had that issue too. Using the same Rom as well. But started using Chompsms for my text and mms messages. No more problems.try it from the market!

Installed ChompSMS and it didn't work at first. Then I rebooted and now my Chomp is working like a champ.

I just flached the vellien rom with sense ui from the unlockr and I can't send picture messages. It says unable to send messages after multiple attempts generic network failure. And it does the same with the modaco r2 rom with sense from Paul. I recover to my stock rom and it works fine. It seems to be any sense rom wont send picture messages. I'm going to try other ones. I really like the sense. Does anyone know why its doing this.

No but I read that if that was the problem that internet and stuff wouldn't work like no service. And all that was fine so I didn't bother. Was I wrong? Is that something I need to do? If so could you provide me with a link that will help m with that? I'm new at this. I'm learning as I go. Thanks for your time

Settings.. wireless.. data.. apns affects both internet and MMS,... if there is an issue with either, always check those apns 1st.
search "(your network name) android apn mms"
thank you so much! That worked. I just went to my stock Rom and wrote it down then added it on the sense Rom. It was a lot more easy than I thought. Once more thank you for your time

Im using Checkrom, yeaterday I went to Kitchenrom and saw a mod saying it changes the messasing app to have sent time and unlimited recipients etc. It sounds great but after installing my sms is messed up. If u send a message to someone and he replies immediately then his sms will be ABOVE mine, which means he has answered before I asked. I tried everything but couldnt fix it, I went to the Kitchen but it doesnt have the original ver, which was stupid. I tried to install other mods but it was no use. I am crazy about this and I dont want to reinstall the rom jusy because of this.
Anyone has a solution or coild send me ur messaging app ?

Hello,
I've tried on a few occasions to send photographs to a couple of people via SMS and it's not working. The only message I get is: "Unable to send after multiple attempts."
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do please? I've tried going into the settings to see what I can do but unsure what I am looking for.

You are sure that your provider has MMS services activated? Sending photos needs MMS, not SMS.

Hi there,
Apologies, I did mean MMS. I'm pretty certain I have this activated as I've been able to send before. Will double check though. If all ok, what else can I check?
