Is anyone working on some GB themes? I'd love to see some Kalagas Mixed Theme, Black Theme, etc.
Look in themes and apps

You can still use Theme Chooser (built into CM7 ROMs) or Metamorph for that kind of thing, I think.
right off the bat I chose Cyanbread from theme chooser. It would be cool if the notification bar had the carbon fiber look to follow suit.
I guess it just depends on how much the theme is designed to change. I think there are some themes in the Eris Theme section which change the notifications look.
Is there an app that can make an adjustable transparent taskbar? I saw some specifically for liberty roms for the droidx...but nothing for the Eris. Also saw some installers specifically for 2.0 and 2.1 so I ignored those.
I'm running ginger tazz cm7..thanks.
i havent seen anything to adjust the transparency
all i know is you can install cm7 themes that have transparnt pull down bars
If we could get someone to port these apks to the Eris it would be perfect!

UDPATE: 25Sept11 I've just finished up a port and addition to Pandroid's DropTheme in White for Froyo and Gingerbread MDPI Dream/Sapphire and Nook! Screenshots are attached below. Download and instructions can be found at www.sisterbird.com/android-themes
WANTED: Someone willing to convert my Nook Color themes to CM7 format. That is simply beyond my forte and something I don't enjoy. PM me, please!
I've begun adding themes for the Nook Color to my collection of MDPI themes. The Nook Color is a bit of a weird one. It has an MDPI framework base, but uses HDPI notification icons. That is why stock MDPI CM7 themes look fuzzy. Stock themes also do not include the Nook System UI soft buttons either. Each has been set up as a Metamorph base for Gingerbread and for Froyo. Thanks to kellinwood for the ZipThemer app on the Market, you can create a flashable zip on your phone or Nook for whatever Gingerbread or Froyo ROM you are running.
All downloads, instructions and more screenshots can be found at http://www.sisterbird.com/android-themes. Available NOOK themes include:
Blue Revo
Green Revo
Clean Green
DropTheme White
Dark Elegance
LG Revolution
Orange Slice
Dark WinterMix
Enjoy!
I'm new to CM7, and I'm looking to try out some themes. One thing that I'm confused about is which category of theme I need and what the differences are.
So, I'm looking to change some of the base colors of the UI, such as that of the dialer, overscroll glows, default colors of sliders, etc...
I'm also running LauncherPro on top of CM7 (on an Atrix, if it matters).
Should I be looking at a CM7 theme or a LauncherPro theme? And what's the difference?

CM7 themes will change the UI of the phone itself... status bar, noticications backgrounds, buttons, etc... LP themes will change only things in launcher pro like widgets colors/backgrounds, icons on the launcher, etc.

Ah, now I understand. Thanks!
Using matching themes for both, i.e. ICS for both CM7 and LauncherPro, makes the cleanest looking interface.
If you want one of the best themes in my opinion for CM7 Theme Chooser check out Lunar UI. It also has ADW Ex/ Go Launcher and Launcher Pro versions.

Seriously one of the best out there.
I was also confused between these two types of themes. Thanks for clearing that up!
