Problem is that I have not been able to download this. I have tried to udate with the Dexter mod. without luck and therefore I I am stuck.
I have tried all rev`s. Pls. see my thread reg. Updated.

You don't need to download google calendar? Get a widget from android market like Android Agenda or Executive assistant and define your gmail account and you're done.
Just add the calander widget to your main screen, when you press that widget the whole calander will open
Gocalender, bussines calendar, Antons calendar widget

I agree. Business Calendar is great, though it need some improvements in the UI.

Google stok calendar is nice.
ok that its not true, I have the calendar installed but cannot access it. I can tap and open the actual icon, but cannot use the widget. And it also does not sync worth my google calendar. It syncs about 20% of all appointments. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix?
I have rebooted several times, tried manually syncing, and even re-installed ginger blur.

It's just the default calendar app that is broken or the whole calendar is a crap? I mean, if we install another calendar app, will it work?
I am using a different calendar app, (there are many on the Market so I won't advise on one), with no issues. Can sync my work appointments/meetings from Exchange through Google to my phone, and it works fine.
I have downloaded several apps and all have the same problem. I can view my calendar perfectly fine on google calendar, but even after syncing only gives me a small amount on all calendars I have tried.
I use pure calender widget, It will notify me about events but the widget itself wont display upcoming events.
Does anyone have one that properly displays evenets?
I use simple calender widget. It works and syncs flawlessly.

Gets asked a lot, but I'm just after some clarification as to how to get this to work
I recently rooted my Desire and installed Cyanogenmod, and now happily have a working version of Gingerbread on my phone.
Sadly, the GenieWidget (News and Weather) doesn't update unless I click on it. So I have stale weather and news for hours until I do so..!
Now, I've found some APKs that apparently work, but when I try to install I get an error saying "Application Not Installed".
From what I understand, this is something to do with the APK on the phone being signed by Google and the APK I've downloaded being signed by someone else (or basically just a general conflict in the signing of the apps).
Soooooooooo... anyone got any advice or directions as to how I can get a working News and Weather widget on my phone? It's one of my favourite widgets..!

Does it respect the refresh period for you? Because I can set it to update once an hour and 12 hours later the widget will still be showing old news and weather.
It only updates if I click on the widget itself, which wasn't what used to happen in 2.2 :|

another big issue in my mini pro is with stock calender.
from the time i upgraded to ICS. calender doesn't show birthdays sync with fb inside xperia.
instead shows pink lines on every date.
it bugs a lot. any helps please.

Facebook has alot of issues with ics atm. Theres not much can be done until facebook fix their sh*t

Anything that works with facebook wont work properly on ics because facebook doesn't work properly with ics so no probably not. Nothing i know of anyway.

Actually the problem is not with the Facebook as i synced all events to my Google calender & on PC it showing all perfect.
but on mobile the calendar showing pink lines with no text. when i click the line it shows the event.
is there any way i can flash or re install the calendar app??

Wonder if anyone can help, about 8 month ago there's a free software on the PlayStore called e.sync that can preform one/two-way sync with Exchange server on the calendar. However, my phone was stolen and now I believe either the app or the author has pulled off the store.
Anyone by chance still has the apk or another other alternative that allow me to sync just Exchange calendar?
