How to: CyanogenMod 6.1 sync with me pc - Legend Themes and Apps

Hello,i cant find the way to sync me contacts from me legend to the pc,the htc sync dont work with this version, sorry but i cant find in the forums and the wiki and i dont undestand very well english!!!
thanks a lot
daniel

just export them to the sd card and then copy the file from the sd card and import it into whatever you are using... takes a bit more effort but gets the job done

Thanks guybanda,now im trying this

the export generate a vcf file,im open with ultraedit is the only way?

you could try to import the vcf file to your gmail account: go to contacts and import the file there,
then all your contacts should be there and you can sync them to the phone whenever you like.

Maybe a UC question, maybe just stupid

I am wondering if it is possible to keep a copy of my contacts on my storage card, and maybe how to use UC to load it should I have to hard reset on the fly I will have a contacts list.
I have beat my head against the wall searching this site, PPCGEEKS and others looking for an answer or a tutorial.
Honestly with all of the reading I have done if I missed it I will slap myself in the face.
Any Ideas? Any comments welcome.
um, i think everything is stored in pim.vol, so if u could copy that to the appropriate folder along with any related files; i don't see why it wouldn't work... it would probably require a reset afterwards though.
Try contact backup
Try ppc contact backup application..
It creats backup of contacts and save all the contacts in a file with .csv extension.
just keep this file and contactbackup exe (does not require installation) on ur storage card
And u can restore ur contacts anytime....
Get it now
U can download from www.freewarepocketpc.net
having hacked many phones prior to my titan, I know how to export the phonebook via activesync, in .csv format. Thanks for the tip, I guess I need to figure how to load that automatically, without any software.
Thanks for the replies.
I copied the pim file over to my storage card and hard reset and was able to move it back over to the phone and it loaded my contacts. I had to rename the new pim file before I transfered the old file over. Then after a soft reset I was able to delete the renamed pim file.

[Q] How TO Transfer Contacts

hi i want to transfer my SGA contacts to Samsung C5212 (Fizz), but when i export my contact to sd it creates single VCF file and c5212 doesnt support single vcf rather its only imports my first contacts so how can i split my contacts to multiple vcf file or ho can i export my contacts to multiple vcf file from sga
Samsung Kies?
i found a better way Moderator kindly close this tread ...
I want to share with you a painless solution for transferring full contacts
1) First, on my SGA I exported my contacts to sd as VCard which save to a single file (x.vcf), then I transfer this file to my computer in a folder (for ex. c:\TEMP\x.vcf).
2) Then I use the attached application (VCF Splitter ) to split x.vcf in single VCF files. Extract vcfsplitter061220.zip to c:\TEMP\ and you'll have 2 files: vcfsplitter.exe and readme.txt.(IMPORTANT: You must drag x.vcf over vcfsplitter.exe in WINDOWS EXPLORER!!! otherwise will not work <in TotalCommander not worked for me>)
VcfSplitter download page: www.dm9.se/?dl_id=1
3) Then install NOKIA PC SUITE and in section "Contacts" select "Import" and you can select all single vcf files created with vcfsplitter.
And that's it. I hope some of you will use this tutorial.
See you soon
How about exporting you contacts and syncing them with your google account, (additionally) you can manage groups and chose which contacts you will get on your new phone

1) make a bkp of all ur contacts on ur nokia phone as .vcf file then copy the same to ur pc.
2) transfer that .vcf file to ur s2 phones sdcard ( internal or external)
3) go to contacts setting then try importing the same by selecting 'Import from Sdcard' and see

Thanks for the reply i'll try that and by the way I meant bluetooth transfer...I used to get all the vcf's at once but now it's one by one..
This doesn't work as my nokia is an old nokia N95 and can't save contacts as vcf...
This is how I used to do it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXHtHntihTY
but now I keep getting the contacts one by one...not sure why !!!!
You could also try copying the contacts to your SIM card and then use the same SIM card on ur GS2 and Import from SIM Card
tried that already...got a SIM card full msg...lol
the easiest way for me was to synchronize all my contatcs with my googlemail account. Once you have uploaded them, you can restore them on any android based OS. Noo need for bluethooth, or any vcf files...

In that case use Nokia PC suite :
-Connect your N95 to your computer via USB cable
-Click on the "Contacts" icon
-Click - File - Export
This will export as a text file. Then use google contacts on ur pc and import this file and synch using your phone.
Thanks a lot for the help guys...all sorted out and fine now

[Q] How to save a file for public manipulation (import/export)

I have an app where I want to be able to export to/import from CSV Files.
In a Use-Case I want to export data into an CSV File, connect the phone to a PC and edit the CSV there and re-import the file afterwards back into the app.
I am currently using a Motorola Razri (latest android version) and no matter where I try to save the file, it does not appear to be public when connecting the phone to a computer (it's not there)
I can see the file on the android File Browser itself, so it is there, but in Windows Explorer the file is not there )or at least, I cannot find it).
How would be a proper way to implement such a feature:
Export to CSV - Edit on Computer - Reimport same file.
I've used getExternalDirectory and also tried getExternalDirectoryPublic - in either cases the file does not appear on the computer.
Any Hints highly appreciated!

Amazfit APP How import gpx file to pace?

Hi,
i want to import a gpx file to the pace. In the newest version of the Amazfit App the file manager can import mp3 and gpx to the pace., but where can i load the file oder select a folder ? Very strange... need help.
thx tron
It will automatically detect any GPX file on your phone's internal storage. Of course, you must have the file on your phone first, or it won't show anything. To keep things organized, you amy want to use AmafitWatch folder to save your files on phone. And if you want to transfer them manually, simply copy the files to "gpxdata" folder on watch's internal storage.
Hi, you have to copy your gpx-files to this folder, in order to be able to upload them with the Amazfit / Zepp App to your watch:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/media/com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager/
btw: When you export tracks from your watch to your phone they are saved to:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager/files/Zepp/gpx/
Only god knows, why they seek the whole phone for mp3-files for import, but import gpx only from this special and completely undocumented folder
I have found
/storage/emulated/0/Android/media/com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager/gpxdata
Create gpxdata folder if there is not.
