im trying to flash my rw6828 to wm6.5 but nothing happens after bootloader(flash through sd card).
my com shows a error saying the rom is not designed for my device.(flash through com).

could you be more precise, as in:
1. What was the directory contents when you started your upgrade
2. What did your devicedata file say before the upgrade?
3. What are the operator id & language of the NBF files?
4. Did you previously upgrade?

Hello everyone, hope you're having a good Xmas.
I have the same problem but it's partly of my own making. I was upgrading my O2 XDA II to the lastest ROM (obtained from O2 website) and my laptop went into sleep mode after 46% of the upgrade was complete. Now all I have is the O2 blue screen. Soft and hard resets do nothing.
I did backup all my data (which I'm not sure includes the OS) to SDIO before starting the update and don't know if I can recover from that.
I will need to send it back to have it re-flashed if I can't find a solution but any advice you guys can give would be most welcome. At the moment my PC can't see the usb connected XDA and there's no activity on the XDA screen.

I've got a very big problem with my Jamin G4.
When I insert the SD Card (2G no HC), the phone shows me that something happened (the backlight turns on) but the pone doesn't show it in File Explorer and in Settings -> Memory -> Storage Card says: Not installed.
I read all forum about this problem and I didn't found anything to work. I formatted the card Fat, Fat32 and nothing. I have 2 friends with 2 same Jamins where i tested the card. It is installed ok, no problems. So the card it's ok, it's new
The problem is at my pda. When I got the pda, I did Hard SPL from Update_Package but I didn't know that first u have to run "HardSPL.bat" so , for real I didn't HardSPL but I didn't know that at that time, and I tried to install a WM6.1 Rom. Off course I get error and I recovered the phone with RUU-Prophet-G4-AKU2.2-2.20-2.47.21-Jester-r1.exe . I noticed that my IPl/SPL has changed when I installed the Jester's ROM. After that, I did a proper HardSPL and installed a WM6.1 rom.
After that, I bought this SD Card and noticed that doesn't work. I thought that the problem was with the changed IPL/SPL so I installed a WM5 rom from Imate.com to change them back but didn't worked.
I don't know what to do anymore. I still belive that the problem is software and not hardware but I don't manage to fix it.
Any suggestions please?

Flash again or Flash other rom....
I flash it with original ROM from imate.com, I flash it with RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe , I flash it with your roms, Gullum, etc and nothing.
My IPL/SPL changed from 1.xx to 2.20.xx and nothing .. I don't know what to no more .. I have one question though:
Is the any posibility to be a hardware problem even if, when i insert/pull out the card, the light turn on?
If u have other sugestions, please tell me .. maybe others had the same problem .. thank you!

that is normal reset if you don't have the SD config. file made in the SD card,
did you ever try other SD card? if same, mostly will be hardware problem.....

I have thee same problem and I know the perfect roms for it
believe me dioxda2 the problem from roms
bcuz some roms work fine like ur "1d" -not "1d storm"

i have a dopod 830 which has same SD card issue, my solution is to delete or rename wifiinit.lnk from \windows\startup folder and do a soft reset. this is becasue dopod 830 has no wifi modual, when it starts up, wifiinit may prevent SD card funtion normal.
not sure if this can fix your problem, but worth a try. wish you luck.

dioxda2 -the coocker- replace the link for 1d version from his topic and put 1d storm insted of 1d ... this is the problem

dear all, i have an htc touch pro, it had
WM 5.2.19965 (build 19965.1.2.3)
ROM version: 2.01.415.3 WWE
ROM date : 02/23/09
Radio version: 1.11.25.01
i wanted to convert it to a WM 6.5, so i flashed (using the method of renaming the RUU_signed.nbh to RAPHIMG.nbh and copy it to the micro sd card , hold down volume and reset to flash from micro sd) and that's exaclty what i did (it was the version of mightyrom6) it's the first time that i do it , but the thing is that when it finished i rebooted the htc and the "HTC Touch Pro" screen appear at the begining and it stays this way , no windows nothing appears, i didn't knew that there were something about the hardspl or how to do it, i read about it on a thread here, and there were a thread about factory spl (StockSPL_ForWarrantyOnly_SPL190_1.zip which let the spl to be 1.90.0000) so that's what i did and also by using the method of flashing from the micro sd , and when i reseted the phone it says :
spl-1.90.0000
upgrade rom code error

Get your hands on the ROM that came with your device and flash that using the same method.

i am using a TP , but i live in the middle east region (lebanon) it is 5.2 maybe because it supports my language, but i can't find the rom version (2.01.415.3) in the link that u gave me, according to ur knowledge which one i can use on my phone of those that are in the link to get my phone work fine , thanks

If its a GSM touch pro, and mightyrom6 is a CDMA rom, that is your problem. Flash a rom from this forum if your device is unlocked or find the stock rom for your phone.
Stay away from CDMA roms and dont flash anything from PPCGeeks, as most on there are CDMA.

Maybe you can try flashing [upgrading] using mini-SD card refers to How to upgrade using SD Card on Wiki

But you have to use the 512 MB mini-SD Card, coz I've tried to use 1 and 2 GB and it all failed. Only 512 MB that succeeded !!!
And I've used the Free Hex Editor Neo to cut the header of "diskimage.nb0" and saved it as "diskimg.nb0".
Then I copied it to my mini-SD 512 MB, followed the instruction on the Wiki above.
And it worked...I can upgrade via mini-SD Card.

sorry....my atom exec have no respond when I enter into bootloader mode: CAMERA+RESET....it just display "Update Utility"onto the screen...that is no different to reboot the device without into bootloader mode...is that have any problems to using hex editor or the atom already lose the bootloader mode.....or may be my atom can't find the mini sd card (256MB only)....
help pls...
atom can be flash with 2gb card as long as the format is fat32
if you screen is stuck at update utility, u cant escape out now. u can try flash again using pc as it should be in bootloader mode already, when plug to pc, your pc speaker should get u a sound just like a thumbdrive is found. just run the official rom and see it goes thru

I'm having problems with my niki100. When I power it up, it stucks in the second screen with the red letters at the bottom giving the radio version and other data.
The problem started after flashing a new rom:
PTG cleanblack wm 6.5 "showthread.php?t=689898"
Before installing this rom I was tring the ROM from Dj_series VA11, but there were some problems to get the phone to work, it was going to offline mode not setting up the connection to the mobile operator. Befrore changing any rom I've done the hardspl 1.22.
Now it's not working, I've done a hardreset, but it's the same, I can´t get active sync to work in order to do some flashing, I tried to enter to bootloader pressing camera and power button, the 3 color menu says USB when connecting the usb cable but on the labtop theres no port associated in device manager and no possible communication between niki and PC.
Any help would be thankfull..
Problem solved !
I've tried to flash it again through sd card with the same rom and the problem remain. After that I've changed the image on the sd card to the previous version (Dj series) , renamed the image on sd, camera*rst* and power button simultaneous, flash from sd and it went ok.
It's working now !
