wondering if someone has a solution for the missing feature in the google calendar described or discussed here:
http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...gle-calendar-on-an-event-after-its-been-syncd
I find it very annoying since when I'm in a rush I'll just create the event and not so much care about the owner but later on I really need to edit it. so I was thinking maybe there was an app that could do that?
would be thrilling if we could come up with something!

Was this fixed? It is SO annoying when it's not editable on the Android phone!!

Is there any app ( like reQALL, which isn't that user friendly) in which I can send reminders to my friend ( of course if they've installed the same app ) .
e.g: If I've to remind him to call some one at a particular time
I'm using the good old method now, Saving reminder in my mobile and calling him to check with that person
I think I 've asked this question at wrong time.
Looks like i've asked this question at the wrong time where in every one ( including me ) were closely tracking ICS instead of the forum
I'm surprised
I'm surprised to see no replies from XDA . I really thought I will get some answer
Ummm, send a text message. If you need, there are apps that allow you to type a message and have it sent at a particular time.
I'm a bit confused about why you would need an app for this? Can your friend not make a note/calendar entry/alarm for themselves?

Thanks for the reply Jane. Say Suppose if I want to send it to a group of people ( with Android phone and the app installed in all their mobiles), where in I set an appointment and send it to all of them , a notification pops up whether you want to update your calendar Yes/No . Clicking a Yes makes an entry in his mobile? some thing on this line.
And to answer your other question, Yes he can set a alarm /reminder as well. All the Apps are the just Ideas of making things easy isn't it?
Replying again to push my thread up , Really sorry for the spam I just want the thread to be seen by developer who knows about this .
Suggestion:
Make a Google account, let your friend(s) to sign in. Once you set reminder, everyone will get.
A yay for you?

Thanks for the replies.
I thought I will get some real answers, instead all I've got was workarounds and suggestions. thanks for that anyways.
I will Keep the thread alive for one more day and I will close it, i don't want to spam .
I think this is one kinda app which is not in existence, Developers can take this idea and they can build one if they want it
looking for an app for that allows couples to flirt/foreplay with each other on their own separate devices. all i can find are those dice games.
You mean with someone you know, or some random person?

I get your drift, and I can see how something like that could be really popular. I know some folks are really addicted to these social games where they take turns and play with someone. Taking that idea into a romantic direction would work, I'd think. Something on the order of "Draw Something" or "Words With Friends" that was password protected and was on the order of "Truth or Dare" or something like that might find a huge market...particularly if you could attach audio or pictures. SMS just isn't a perfect substitute because it doesn't bring in the "game" aspect or provide the same kind of "rules" or "choices".

thank you for thinking outside the box to see the kind of app i'm looking for. we do the "texting" thing. i'm looking for something different. something that could promote new ideas and things to do. something that takes some of the control away.
App for Couples
There is a new app for couples out that could provide you with something of what you are looking for.
Search iLoveNote on Google Play for Android Devices. The App is awaiting release in the App store for IOS devices.
I was also looking for a similar app. I found an app so I want to make happy to my girlfriend with my performance.:
Firmware: XXBLFB
This is the last offical firmware available on my network.
a) If you disable music square there is no way to return to the library application from the player. You can return with the back button, if you have NOT switched to another application. I know that this is a known bug.
b) The S Memo widget. You cannot switch the memo it displays.
c) S Planner widget will not display the proper beginning of week day (Monday in Serbia, displays Sunday).
d) Will not load all profile pictures for facebook contacts.
e) Being used to HTC sense, there was more Twitter integration. You could assign a Twitter account to a contact.
f) Also from HTC sense, you could enter the clock application from the clock + weather widget. Is this a stupid intellectual property issue?
g) The phone log does not remember the setting that it should display only calls, not messages. I know that this is a known bug.
All in all: Great hardware, the firmware needs some polishing.
Sorry is this a question?
Or an answer?

More of a question.
In hope that somebody may figure something out.
Some of these things are kind of driving me nuts.
May also count as an answer to a question: How good is Samsung's software quality control and UI design.
Not very good.
There's a fix for the messages in call history somewhere. Have a look around

I somehow still hope that somebody from Samsung will read this, get his wits, and fix it.
Needed to get it off my chest.
I feel no overbearing need to root at this time.
you have an s planner widget ?
Sure. I can choose from several.
The one I'm talking about looks like a month view calendar.
I am looking for someone that can mod the stock email app in order to use the new card UI that Google is now using. Similar to what tapatalk is using now, as well as many others.
What I am looking for is for each email line to be a card, then when opening the email the header would be a card and the body would be a card.
Anyone think they can do this? For an idea take a look at evomail in the market. It has started to move in this direction but is terrible at handling email, and doesn't do exchange.
PM me if you would like to work together on this. I can easily pass ideas or test the apk, but know nothing about programming so wouldn't be helpful with that part. If this can be done by just theming let me know, as I can do a little of that and would love to help there too.
I personally think this is how the email app should look in the future...and seeing as how Google is beta testing a new email app, maybe it will be. But until then I would like to get started.
Thanks in advance.

Grettings everyone,
I've been lurking for months but this is my first post. I hope I'm using the right forum. If anyone knows, I would like to know if this is the standard set of permissions for a freshly installed Google Cast app. There is a specific reason I'm asking, but that would probably bore your guys, since I'm a noob and likely have no idea what I'm talking about. And, if nobody minds too much, I'll probably be asking the same question about a few other apps as well. So, anyway, if you could take a look and let me know if anything seems out of the ordinary I would really appreciate it.:
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE

GET_ACCOUNTS
MANAGE_ACCOUNTS
INTERNET
READ_PHONE_STATE
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
BLUETOOTH
BLUETOOTH_ADMIN
com.google.android.providers.gsf.permission.READ_GSERVICES
And also, if anyone knows, when I use Solid Explorer's App Viewer it shows "Activities" with the following list. Are these all expected activities (this is not why I'm asking, but there is a facebook activity despite the fact that I don't have the facebook app installed, or the facebook messenger.)?
DiscoveryActivity
MainActivity
OffersActivity
NoDevicesActivity
TutorialActivity
TutorialOtaActivity
NoTutorialOtaActivity
OtaErrorActivity
SearchResultsActivity
WebViewActivity
HelpActivity
CastScreenActivity
DeviceSettingsActivity
DeviceSetupActivity
PostSetupActivity
ApplicationSettingsActivity
DebugActivity
FacebookActivity
LicenseMenuActivity

InAppPurchaseActivity
If anyone can offer any info I would really appreciate it.
Thanks guys!
