Is anyone else having trouble applying battery-mod themes to their Axura Roms? I realize that Master has an awkward setup because the original framework has a few extra .pngs thrown in (stat_sys_battery_0b, stat_sys_battery_charge_anim6b, stat_sys_battery_charge_anim10b, etc). I edited those as well, so my batteyrmod morph setup mirrors the original framework.
however, when my phone is charging, it does not display the full sequence of charging .pngs. It seems to only display like the first 5 images and then starts over, as opposed to cycling through all 105.
anyone else?
I'm having a similar problem with the Odometer Battery mod ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=926769 ) The charging sequence only goes to +/- 30%.
I'm on TW Bionix-v though

Well the issue most likely is that while the xmls are most likely working fine, because the compiled framework never had most of these images upon being compiled, they're not in the resources and therefore won't be called upon.
There's really no way around it, it would have to be compiled with the images inside. Upload your framework and I'll pack it up for ya.

Very newbie question I know....
Can anyone point me to the process for manually integrating battery mods into the framework.apk as for the above listed builds current morphs do not work. The framework file has apparently changed. I know where to copy the actual icon/image files but am not sure what other files need to be moved/copied. Also in this instance would I need to also sign the resulting framework.apk?
anyone? .....

I just got this working, but it is part of an "all in one" mod
I pulled the framework-res.apk and made it flashable with Clockwork
and is attached to this post
the images in this mod are from the Stock Battery mod found in the below thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=758797
I get a fc when I flashed the stock accurate battery mod on the leaked firmware, something like android.media and then android.phone. I cleared the cache, I also have the battstatt widget running not sure if that has anything to do with it or not

Found this while cruising around the other Galaxy-S forums. I think it looks great and would love to have it on the Vibrant. Anyone up for taking a crack at it?

I just checked over the contents of the MM. It's compatible already. There aren't any xml files changed, just images. I'd definitely back up first, but you shouldn't have any issues flashing.
Looks pretty cool, but I still prefer the non-3d look of the AllBlack mm by tricorder.
I haven't messed with the other SGS phones, but does anyone know if there's really any major differences in file names/structures between the phones? I'm assuming framework.res and twframework.res are identical and the differences would be the preinstalled apps, but I could be completely wrong.

There's some differences in framework-res and twframework-res. The Captivate has 5 signal bars, the Epic has 6 and the Vibrant and Fascinate both have 4. Bloatware also varies. Some of the tiles in Touchwiz30Launcher are named after the Bloatware they float behind, so they vary as well.

I actually tried it a couple times before I made the thread and it didn't work. Maybe the issue was having a couple mods in place already. I'll play with it a bit more and see if I can get it to work.
No dice. I ran it a million times over a bunch of different combinations of themes/stock. Including a bunch of reboots without MMs. I don't know what else to try haha.
I'll check it out when I get off work and see if I need to make any changes for you. It's probably something simple.

lags a bit on E3D. How can I speed it up?
Have to open it and change the desc.txt looks something like
540 960 20
p 1 0 part0 (something like this)
( that 20 or whatever its at ) controls the speed you can change it by 5's so up by 5 is faster, down by 5 is slower
brought to you by the little voices in my head
schwartz did you get it to the right speed
I was able to change the speed, but couldn't fix the lag. It was 200p and when changing the speed it skipped part 0 and went to part 1. I tried a whole bunch of numbers from 20p - 300p
No worries. Its not that important to me. I was just trying to get an idea of how these things are compiled.
I cant even get this thing to run on my 3d. How did you install it?

Use root explorer or adb to put it in either system/customize/resource (named Sprint_bootanimation) or data/local (named bootanimation )

Wasn't able to get this working in either directory. Permissions were changed and I've had other boot animations working. Running Synergy ROM. No big deal, but wanted to give a heads up.

Tried Root Explorer and Rom Toolbox and neither showed this. I am running Joker's 1.4 kernal not sure if that could possibly make any difference???

idk thread says if you put a 0 you lose internet and zep was looking into it saying it can only be turned on or off not adjusted but then again said maybe it could be seems like it needs more research/testing but hell as horrible as sprint network in my areas is especially without 4g and flakey wifi anything that can help im trying
so i have been running this for a full day now and can say both mods seemed to have improved my stability and speed of internet saying this because in my are the 3gs are more like no gs and withe mod1 and 2 in place ive gotten a very reliable connection and much improved ( not to the point of worth shouting about but ) i a using null settings on mod 1 just leaving it blank and ive done the file swap in the second mod i want to try the unthrottle bit but im no dev and dont want to play with it not knowing exactly what it could do to my magnificent mopho. gl folks hope this works for you guys as well as it "appears" to be for me

using rocko's unlocked rom with it nulled out (left it blank) maybe placebo but feels like its better so far as adding it to cm i think cm already removes the flow control im not 100% on that but if you wanna try it make sure you nandroid and or put a .bak after your prop so you can fix if something goes awry.

so, does anyone know of an easy way to disable the damned icons? i know i can use an icon pack but none look good in anyway to me and i just want to use the stock icons. i heard somewhere that just opening framework-res.apk with 7zip and replacing the bools.xml will work without all the other stuff.

It's up to RR team right now, all you can do is slap a custom launcher and an icon pack

Just wanted to drop in. Oneplus One, same exact issue. I can go disable this iWare (iPhones enforce the same shape for all icons) on every single rom by modding framework-res, with the exception of RR which bootloops. It's a shame, I'd love to use RR, but those round icons are atrocious and no icon pack will satisfy me (even though I like icon packs), because it's just a fix over made up issue, instead of treating the root cause (useroundicons=true).
I really hope that RR devs figure out a way for us to NOT use their **** round icons like every other rom.

that would be preferred but somehow i doubt it. it seems O will have this baked in so you can enable/disable this to your liking. what ever happened to "be together, not the same"? im gonna try and modify the framework over the weekend. i really hope it works.

I hope it's included in O, and if you got to modify the framework, how about making a guide about it?!

theres a really good guide on xda that shows you how to do it. i used an app that a great xda dev made to make the process easier. ill link all that stuff tomorrow morning. im at work atm and when i get home im usually far too tired to do anything. it was really easy but i used it with RR. im gonna try it with cypher over the weekend.

Keep waiting
okay, so i looked through my history in my phone and found the link but because i was at work i couldn't post and link it last night. now i have a few minutes before i get ready for work. so the dev who built the app is BDFreak. the app was easy to use. had i known that RR would bootloop regardless of correct modding i would not have put off this app.
the app is Advanced ApkTool v4.2.0. ill try again over the weekend and report back on if/how it works. just in case someone beats me to it, please report back. i cant wait to be rid of these damned round abominations!!!

welcome to the anti-rounders!!!!....... ew! nevermind, that name sucks! sorry to disappoint, but it seems that this mod wont work on RR. you can try just in case i did it wrong but make sure to backup your original file. good luck to all who attempt this mod. please give feedback on your results.
