It happens cause i Unluckyli i press "customize" button in x10flasher.
Can i reflash throght x10 flasher?
Any aid?
Tnx in advance.

Sol.
Dude jst re-flash again with Bin4ry Flash.....and this problem will no longer exists.

Or eventually, use SEUS/Companion repair method. Remember, when u turn off the phone (home button + power on button pressed), insert usb cable and keep the back button pressed for a while (2-3 min) until green led turns on.

The main problem was because you cannot take off batery.
I waited 7 hours with the stucked screem, than turn on charge, it boots up in chargemon.
From there, bin4ry worked very nice.

man that wasn't necessary......in the back of the cell there is a little rubber cover you only take it out and you will see a socket a 3 wires, you just have to unplug it with a clip or somthing else and then pu**** to place it, and "ta da" you have taken out and placed the battery.......thats how i've recovered mi x10 mini bricked and it only take it to repair 10 min as max.....

Holding power and home button for 3 seconds also restarts the phone when it stuck on son ericsson screen

i did that and now it cannot turn on after numerous attempts

i cant find that rubber cover
there is a orange thing whcih can be pushed, but i cant find any wires....plssssssss can u help me out with more details and if possible with some picturessssssssss

you could try the sony Ericsson update service

Go to PC companion in your computer.Connect your phone while pressing back and home.In PC, choose Support zone and then click on update.KEEP PUSHING THE BUTTONS AND DO WHAT IT SAYS!Tada.Your phone is ready and loaded!

X10 mini bricked and turned off

Hi,
I did something extremely stupid to my x10 mini,
I used xRecovery to format /system,
then when I rebooted I was only getting the sony ericsson logo, I tried opening SEUS, tried restarting by pressing home + back button ant the power button at the same time, and at some point my phone turned off...It could be that my battery ran out I don't know...Now, my phone is off, the power button does nothing....can someone please help?
Thank you in advance
First of all leave the phone to charge with the ac adapter not by connecting it with a pc. After this, on the back of the phone remove the cover and on the upper side on the left there is a gummy small cover which underneath hides the small connector of the battery to the mobo of the phone, try removing this gummy part and disconnecting and again connecting the battery cable. I think at least try to do this with the battery cable you dont have nothing to lose.
if you want an image to understand better what part you need to remove, i can send it to your email, cos i'm new here and they don't allow me to post external links unless i have more than 8 posts in general
hi dear just say that do you backup your phone by xrecovery before or not? if you do that you can restore that so dont felt sad. just charge as my friend said and then try to restore all by x recovery
Thanks a lot guys, I kinda panicked because I did try to charge it, but when I would connect the charge cable nothing would happen(no LED would flash, nothing, the phone was dead)...After a few hours I gave up and was ready to take it to the service, until, (after an email from an xda member I consulted), I decided to just leave it in the charger all night just in case...
As soon as I connected it, the red LED magically started flashing, and the phone booted to the sony erricsson logo (bricked) , I quickly opened SEUS and re-flashed it...
Luckily I had Backed up my phone via xRecovery right before I bricked it, so now my phone is back ...

HELP! URGENT Flashed HTC wildfire rom and cant boot into xrecov.

Another method, you can just hard reset.
When you open the back plate, There's should be a small button next to the camera. You'll need something small to press the button, around 10sec. That should do the hard reset.

I've tried the guide of seus program (turn off for minutes, plug the usb cable to pc, hold the back button, plug usb cable to the phone) but there is no thing happened affter I hold the back button and plug usb cable to the phone, no green led indicate thats flash mode. im sure that the battery is full because i charge it for hours with my wall charger. and the battery has out for minutes before i tried to flash mode.

Could you please tell me how to do it step by steps? The SEUS doent work for me in my case. All I do is:
1- Charge the phone for hours to full up the battery
2- Take out the x10 mini battery so the phone is surely turn off for minutes
3- Plug the battery in.
4- Plug the cable (come with the phone - sonyericson cable)
5- Hold the back button on my phone
6- Plug the cable to my phone while the back button still pressed
7- Affter five minutes. No thing happened, the green led not appear, the phone only has red blink.
all I can do is charge the phone and see that it automatic turn on and stuck at sonyericson logo.

i see.
just maybe.
2- Take out the x10 mini battery so the phone is surely turn off for minutes
(do not plug in the battery yet)
4- Plug the cable to pc
(you need to do step 5 & 6 as fast as you can so your phone wont switch on)
5- insert the battery,
6- press and hold back button, plugin usb. that should work.
May be the battery isnt enought to begin flash mode because when I hold power button there is nothing happend, im not sure that battery could be charge when I conect to charger. when I conect to charge, the red light blink, affter about five minutes the phone turn it self on and stuck at sonyericson logo. So there is no red blink more, only the logo. So in this case I think that affter charge 5 minutes the phone turn on and no charge any more, and 5 minutes charging is not enough for flash mode. But I have no way for charging my phone.

have you try pressing the hard reset button at the back of the phone?
it should be around next to the camera, white button and very small. need to plress it with pin anything smaller.
If I'm not mistaken, mini does not have hard reset button. Try to find some pictures of disassembled mini and you'll find out that its not a button at all.
The only way to perform hard reset on mini is to hold down both power and Home keys.

I had the same problem this morning. I went to bed last night and the phone was fine. This morning it wasn't booting up at all, I wasn't even getting the SE logo.
I was able to fix it with SEUS: plugged in the USB port while holding the Back key and the device turned on in Flash mode so I was able to flash it.
Hope it helps.

What procedure are you following to turn it on in flash mode?
What I did was that I plugged the USB cable while holding down the back button, there is no need to press any other button, it should automatically turn on.

That's what I did. I select factory reset in SEUS, it tells me to press the back button en plug in. I do so, it detect that I did, the little light on the phone turns green. SEUS begin repairing, but almost immediately says it is unable to repair.
I think it is because the phone freezes there. When I plug out, the light stays green, and all I can do is pull the battery out.
The same when I just try to turn the phone on. The light flashes, it vibrates ones (like it normally would) and then it stops and I cant do anything with it but pull out the battery.
you need to 1, pull the battery. 2, connect your phone via usb (still without battery). 3, open pc companion. 4, choose repair. 5, select x10 when asked phone model. 6, when asked to connect phone, put your battery in whilst holding the back button. 7, sit back, relax and your phone will be restored.
the reason your phone won't turn on/update/restore is due to a bootloop.
follow above steps and you x10 should always restore to factory...
I just think that the battery is too low and it can't live to finish the repair process

Tried again a few times, and now the phone goes into flash mode, and Pc Compagnion starts to repare, but gives an error after a while (the process bar shows zero progress, so I think the error is a time out error).
Other suggestions?

A Way to Fix X10 Mini if Bricked

Hi all,
yesterday I used an emergency method for the second time which saved my phone even when SEUS doesn't respond. Please note:
1. This is an emergency method, if ALL other methods fail. If you are not comfortable with this, then don't do it.
2. I don't know if this works for the new Mini or either Pros.
3. You can damage your phone if you do this incorrectly, so take care, and you do this at your own risk.
4. If you are still in warranty, this can void your warranty if they detect what you've done.
5. If you're VERY new to all this phone modification stuff, you probably shouldn't do this. But, if you are new and all other methods don't work, then you can try this if you don't want to/can't afford to send away to repair.
Still in trouble? This is ESPECIALLY useful if your phone won't switch on, SEUS won't detect it and charging doesn't show LED. Do this:
1. Take off the back cover.
2. To the left of the camer lens is a rubber part covering the phone. At first, it looks like it won't move, but use something small and thin (like a pin or tack) to gently lift that up, and take it away. You need this so keep it.
3. Inside you will see a small white connector. This connects the battery to the rest of the phone. Use a tack or pin to gently pull back on the white part. When it does get loose, lift up.
4. After a few seconds, put that white connector back. I do it by laying it down and pushing in with the pin/tack, and push down. You must hear it click. Be very, very careful with this, it's delicate!
5. Put back the rubber connector and case.
Try switch on your phone now. Twice, this has helped me when ALL else failed...
**When you take off the rubber cover to the left of the lens, you will see this white tab as you can see in this picture. You use a pin/tack to drag that back, then press down again and push it into the phone to reconnect. This resets it.**
I have used this on the 2010 Mini, and I don't know about the 2011 Mini or either pros...

Sure!
Honestly, this method has worked twice now (only needed it twice) and if the phone doesn't switch on, PC/laptop/SEUS don't detect it/no LED or anything...this STILL works...! It's a kind of hard reset we need, if soft reset (home and power) don't work.
can anyone confirm whether this works on the pro yet ?

If I understand it, this disconnects the battery from the phone. On the mini-pro you can just pull the battery.
Sent from my U20i using Tapatalk
Yes, that's right ^^ on the Mini of 2010 you cannot disconnect the battery like normal. This is how you can do it, and it really does fix many of the worst kinds of problems...it re-starts the connection of the phone.
Still not working ;(
i tried this method twice, and nothing happened...
my phone was working fine yesterday, woke up, found it turned off.
i tried to charge it, and it showed no signs of charging, no LED lights, no heat, nothing.
i tried to restart it using the power+home+back buttons, i tried to get it on flash mode, nothing worked.
its still off and NOT charging even though its been connected to the charger for like 2 hrs
anymore ideas?
Hi buddy.
There's something different with these smartphones. This happened to my Mini also. I contacted Sony Eric. and they said make sure your battery doesn't die completely. You must leave it charging in the wall for about 2 hours and wait for an LED (green) to show. If that doesn't work, then I'd try SEUS and repair the phone. If that doesn't work, then I'd try this solution. It really should be the LAST thing you do - if you're not very familiar with this you can break it.
And you tried this method and it did nothing? Really? You disconnected the white wire, waited 10 seconds and reconnected? Then I'd try charging for 2 hours WITHOUT trying to turn it on.
help me plzzzzzzzzzz
Hi!
can anyone help me!
i treied to root my x10 mini pro and something fail
Idont know what happen but i fowlloed the guid but i know that was my wrong i dont know what happend.
My x10 mini pro are breaked now when i try to turn it on it came just SONEY ERICSSON just it, itreied to uppdate by pc.companion but i could not uppdate it becuse the program didnot finde the device.
Can someone help me please.
Tanks!
That is common and you should be able to fix it. If all you did was try to root it, I'm not quite sure what failed. This happens sometimes if you try to put a new operating system (ROM) on the device but something goes wrong.
And PC companion doesn't detect your device?
If not...there is another Sony Ericsson program called SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Companion). Use that instead and tell it to repair your phone. To do so, you connect your phone to the PC, press the power button at the top of the phone AND the middle (menu) button on the front together...then your phone resets. If you have SEUS ready, it will connect your phone, your phone won't boot, SEUS will repair it. The light at the top of the phone will be green if this is working correctly.
Hi, i just bought bricked x10 mini for 20 bucks. I has no sign of life, no led indicator, etc. It's not detected by seus. I also disassembly it to check physical damage( i didn't find any damages).
Phone just won't turn on. Lets check if 2hours charging is working for my case.
Yes, try the charging thing. Sony Ericsson told me to do this by email. I had no idea that smartphones worked like that, but yes. It could have life but not show for 2 hours of charging. (They said DON'T try to turn on the phone while it's trying to charge in this case).
If none of that works then try more extreme methods, like the one I mention with the white cable.
Good luck!
still no luck with charging solution. actualy i've disassembly it so practically i have done your solution. i will go check more deeper about the problem. the worst case is IC failure.
Thank you for the tip phoneyericsson!
I didn't find it hard to do -- I pulled off the ruber thing with a nail, and tweaked out the plug with some small scissors.
I was stuck at the SE logo, and couldn't turn of my phone or enter CWR. I wanted to set it back to standard using SEUS. Instead of using the method mentioned in option 2 here, I simply pulled the white plug to the battery, which turned of the phone. Then I inserted it again and the phone stayed off. Then I simply did as SEUS asked, and now I'm back running, ready to get CMmini on my device again!
That's great to hear! ^^

[Q] My x10 mini is DEAD

Well, just a couple minutes ago, my x10 mini died. I was using it normally, without overheating, not overclocked..., just undervolted! I've got for 14 months, and since last 12 i've got the bootloader unlocked and nAa kernel with MiniCM 2.X... A couple of weeks ago I installed ArcMini rom without problems! Yesterday night I tried to turn off WiFi from the statusbar button, but the light under the icon kept half turned on (sorry for my english :S)... I didn't though it was a problem, but a couple of minutes ago, i tried to turn on an it didn't respond!! so I restarted the phone with the power + home button, like some other times, but now it didn't turned on!!
Now, the led doesn't light up, doesn't vibrate, when I plug into a computer or AC, it does the same: nothing!! What happened?? what can I do?? Warranty is avoided since i unlocked the bootloader, isn't it?? :S
Thanks!!

I think, if his cpu is bust, repairing with flashtool is not an option, i think getting a new phone might be in order
y should try to make sure that the x10mini is dead before pull out the x10mini cover and with a pinch pull out a rubber cover next to the camera you should try to disconnect that connection an then reconnect it
try to take out the battery, and wait for a while, insert it again. try to turn it on.
if it doesnt work. try to wait longer, not more than 10 min.
if it doesnt work at all, I would like to try to flash it again with the flash tool.
That would be the very basic part of the phone. if the mode can not be actived (pressing the back on phone and plug to usb) by using flash tool. then you possibly facing a hardware problem.
