Hello,
Unfortunately, the developer of this good program finally killed him, not finish the job ... sorry!. This developer has completely abandoned Windows Mobile development. I think this program should have ended.
For this reason, I stopped using MortPlayer, and now I use S2P is very good, and their work is completed well in Windows Mobile.
Regards,

you must switch off the screen by mortplayer (use mortplayer options) BEFORE Windows Mobile does it.
E.G. Windows Mobile switches off the display after 30 seconds you must set Mortplayer to switch off after 15 seconds.
That´s all. Have fun!

Hello,
S2P use the last few months, the paid version purchased in the Marketplace (cheap) and works great in every way. MortPlayer had previously tested, Nitrogen, and many other commercial programs ... none exceeded the current S2P.
Regards,

okayy.. I'll try S2P... thanx for your sugestion..

1. Start mortplayer
2. Menue - Settings - Settings - Keys/Saving energy - Switch off display after...
Chose the value 10 seconds
3. Menue - save&exit
4. In order to switch off the display you have to wait this 10 seconds. Don´t switch it off manually. Doing so mortplayer would stop playing.
Note: I´m using the german version of mortplayer and I translated the named topics into english. So it might be that your device has different topics.

I want to do this to slender man for android so i can listen to the soundtrack from the pc game
i think an app like this is possible to make but i browsed google play store and haven't found one, hopefully in the future some dev will make this kind of app
in the meantime what you can do is mute the whole system volume and use a different device to play music
also email the game's dev tell them to add an option to mute the sound
This would take care of your issue:

Doesn't work on Android 7.1.2 :/
Hmm, so no dice on this for Nougat? I would love to mute a game that always starts with the volume up. I can change the volume in the game, but only after a lengthy, loud intro, and it resets the volume the next time I play it...
Anyone found solution?
Solution (for Samsung Phones)
If you happen to be on a Samsung phone, there is an app called "Sound Assistant" which is excellent - adding volume sliders for whatever individual apps you like.
Samsung wastes a lot of money and frustrate a lot of people customizing & bloating Android, but this *optional* app is great and should be mimicked by Google into base Android!
Nope no solution for this problem
Hmm, still nothing?
Maybe try using something like VMos and running the app in there and disabling sound

Anyway to use volume buttons to change song?

I have a GS3, and i really like the software so i don't want to install CM10 or 9 just to get this feature. I'm currently using poweramp. is there anyways i can change songs with the volume buttons?

I am not sure if that is possible with any app if the rom doesnt support it.
In CyanogenMod if I am not wrong ability to change tracks while long holding volUp/Down buttons is a feature of CyanogenMod itself, not the music app used.
That was very usefull to me, for example while driving home from work and listening to music via smartphone. I could just hold the volUp button to skip the annoying song. Now I cant do that. At least I havent found a way.
Anyway I will check PowerAMP. I might be wrong so it's worth a try.

"Separate" volume control - music and ringtone

This is not a true separation. The app merely re-adjust the system volume to predefined levels based on whether music is being played.
In case anyone wants such functionality. Here is the .xap file. Link should be fixed now.
A few screenshots
Very cool! To save us the effort of decompiling the app, do you mind sharing the source code? Does the monitor service run constantly, or does it act like a normal background agent (30-minute checks)? Does it require any capabilities or have any restrictions beyond dev-unlock?
By the way, download appears to be broken.
Nice but where is the xap ? Link is wrong.

As of now no background agent/monitoring. Only works if the app is used to play/stop music.
only dev unlock is required but I am using an library from another guy, whom I have not been able to contact yet.
I'll send you the source code in a minute. I'm sure you can make it better.

Nice music player, but for me not useful (I use only the native player, and I thought that the app has more functionality). THX

thanks for trying ?
the only thing it does is to put the system volume to a high level when you stop music playback so you won't miss a phone call because ringtone is not loud enough. Similarly it brings the volume down before playing music. I know some people want such functionality.
other than that it's just a soft volume slider and soft power button. And a shortcut to completely mute the phone.
I'll add some more functions such as picking a certain album/song.
Share source code

Record internal audio [HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro]?

Hey there,
as you probably know, it's forbidden by google to include a function to an app to record the internal sound. That's the reason why all audio/video-recorder-apps (like AZ Screen Recorder) only allow to record the microphone(s).
Is there anyway a solution to record the internal sound, for example with a cable? But only the digital way via USB(-C) and not the analog way with the phone jack which causes side noises! Do I need a special OTG-Cable?
If I connect the original USB-C-Cable to my pc nothing happens really.
In the dev options in the android settings I can de/activate the usb-audiorouting (but I can see no changes)
I also can choose 'audiosource' in the usb-config. If I plugin then to my computer, there is no new 'microphone' in the audio settings. In the device manager the BLA-L29 is listed, but the drivers are marked as corrupt.
Can somebody help me to finally have the power to record the internal sound? Thank you!
Perhaps try a Bluetooth recorder? I came across this after a 5-second web search; I'm sure that with a little more effort you could find many more varieties.

Well, maybe you invest next time 5 seconds more on reading my question(s). Your reply is nothing I've asked for.
And I already searched HOURS for a good solution, but without success so far.

If the answers you're getting aren't to your liking, you're obviously asking the wrong question. Good luck.

Update: Huawei Mate 10 Pro Screen Record with Audio
Hi
I'm a Streamer and mobile Gamer, Just updated to Official Stable Android 9 on my Mate 10 pro and they actually provided a new screen recorder that can record internal audio but..
Here is the issue i'm facing :
1) When using the screen recording app and i turn the microphone off i'm able to record system sounds on any app and while its recording ,however the speaker sound is turned off so you wont hear anything until you stop the screen record. Also if you enable the mic the screen recorder app will record audio from your mic
I hope this could help Devs to take a close look at this , all we want is that to use a screen recorder which records System audio and mic just like the IPhone to allow us to stream our games to platforms like Youtube, Facebook, Twitch, Omlet Arcade without buying a IPhone .
I understand google bans devs from accessing this API : Internal Audio, but what if Huawei just develop a app like Samsung Game Launcher where only games and Streaming apps like Twitch, Youtube, Facebook Live, Omlet Arcade are allowed to access the Internet Audio Recording Function?
And BTW to all those trolls , we not requesting bloatware its a just a simple screen recorder or a Gaming Suite/Launcher app for our Mobile Gaming Community
