Ever since I uploaded to the latest firmware 2.1.A.0.435 I am unable to buffer videos directly from the web browser. Every time I click a video to play, it always asks me to save the file to the SD card with a "Save as" option. I was able to play videos directly (like youtube) before I updated to this firmare. Anyone have a solution for this? thanks
Please someone help me. Could it be that I deleted some app using the Flashtool?

Hi Bud, welcome to the forums.
I'm afraid that if you want this fixing you will need to supply more information on the problem ie what errors it displays etc.
One possible fix would be to reset youtube to defaults.
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Youtube > "Clear Data"
Let us know the errors or if the fix above works
;
i can connect to youtube, but i can't see the movies.
When i press on it, he says : page not avaible.
And wich ap do i have to download, before i can use youtube? Because you are talking about the ap youtube, but i didn't install anything yet.
grtz
It comes with youtube on there already as its a Google app. So are you going in through the browser?

Its the problem of framework-res.apk not only videos audio files also won't get detected it says sd-card error only poweramp works also gallery won't work only quic pic works solution is to flash rom again wiping everything including sd-card but do a back-up of ur sd-card first
I'm running ARHD 21.0 on my One and this problem has been happening for quite a few versions but isn't that big of a deal that I needed it solved right away, now it's just annoying.
I cannot download any files from either chrome or the stock browser. From chrome the download won't even start, if I use the stock browser it will start but as soon as it starts up it will say "Download Unsuccessful" and that's it. This happens for pictures, videos, Rom files (which i used to download straight to the phone to avoid using my laptop to transferring the file). Now if i go onto the facebook app i can save those pictures.
I've wiped the cache and data from both browsers and the downloads app but those didn't solve anything. I have done multiple wipes while upgrading ROMs.
Anyone else have this problem, and possibly know a solution?
Thanks in advance.
Hello everybody, and thank you if you've taken the time to read this.
As other people have had problems with in the past, I cannot watch Youtube videos (either from a browser or in the app) because when I click on a video, I get the "no network connection right now" message. This message also pops up immediately after clicking on the Youtube app. My phone doesn't have a data plan and I've been doing all of my surfing on wifi, and this wasn't a problem until three days ago.
I don't have experience with rooting phones or keeping up to date with new software and the like. I can only give you as much information as I can.
Firmware version: 2.1 -update1
Baseband version: T959UVJI6
Kernel version: 2.6.29
Build number: ECLAIRE.UVJI6
I've cleared the cache and data for Youtube, I've tried to find the Youtube app on the marketplace and "My Apps" to see if there was an update I needed but couldn't find it (it may be something pre-loaded into the phone). I've also tried a factory reset.
The last thing I've tried was to go to the system/etc folder, backup the "hosts" file, opened it with a text editor and delete all entries for "#youtube". However, when I open up the "hosts" file, all i see is:
127.0.01
localhost
I don't know if that was because of the factory reset or anything else I tried.
I can watch other videos just fine, whether online or on my phone. When connected to the same wifi with another phone, I can watch youtube videos. Any help would be appreciated, and I will try my best to accommodate any requests for more information.
Checking
I will be checking this thread for responses until I either find a solution that works and will post it here, or Youtube magically starts working again and I will post here. In any case, please feel free to put in any help if you are able.
Guys,
please bear with me as I know this must be the most asked question and I have found n number of solutions on the web for this. However, I am at my wits end as I have tried every solution in the book and every browser recommended with absolutely no results.
My question is not how to install Flash or how to get it to work, but to find out what I am doing wrong.
I have this flash presentation of interior spaces on the site (url below) which I can see on my laptop/desktop but just unable to view on any browser on my Android 4.2.1.
(unable to post the link as I am a new member)
For a complete story, I use Micromax Canvas 4 (India Product) running on Android 4.2.1. I have downloaded Flash Player 11.1.115.69 and installed on my phone. I have Dolphin browser ver 10.2.5 with the setup of "Flash Player" - "Always on" in the settings. I also have Firefox with settings - Plugins Enabled.
However, I am just unable to view the above content over the phone and am just frustrated with this right now. I have a customer presentation coming up for this and I do not know how to show the content over the smartphone.
Any suggestions - welcome.

Well, what happens when you TRY to start the presentation? Any error Messages?
Did you try in other browsers, go to drawer and run Flash Player settings.

These are the two browsers I tried. Can try others if they can solve the issue.
Unfortunately I am unable post the link as I would like to know if others can play it
