Hi guys, so I've update my rom, but I got some weird rom with some SlideMe market and no standard google market, what to do?
I have x10i, generic and I live in Croatia.

If you need market try this. Flash with xRecovery. Hope this helps.

Hi Guys,
My friend just got an X10i with Optus Firmware.
He uses Vodafone, so I was wondering if there is a Vodafone Australia Firmware out there to flash over the optus to enable OTA updates through Voda.
Any help would be great.

Do you know which one Australia uses? I'm currently using the UK one but it's beginning to annoy me.

It looks like the latest X10i for anything close to a generic Australia FW would be the UK Generic X10i Firmware (R2BA020).
Though we're all up to R2BA026 now.
Will I be able to update UK Generic X10i Firmware (R2BA020) afterwards?

1. Register an account @;
http://www.omnius-server.com/
2. Then go to the following link;
http://www.omnius-server.com/download (Download Omnius v0.12 software and install)
3. Select Browse & Download
4. Select Flashes_SONY_ERICSSON
5.Select X10
6. Select R1FA016
7. Choose your desired Firmware and flash your mobile with Omnius (login to app using your registered account details).
8. Finally perform either an update OTA or through SE Update service, u'll have the latest branded FW afterwards.
ANYWAY... any voda firmware out there I can use to flash my friend X10?
If not, what generic FW would I use, the UK one huh?
Will SE Update software let me download the latest update afterwards?

Could this be firmware for our X10? If so, how can i install this on mine R2BA026?

Looks like it, but it's older fw, so not sure you want to install it.

Settings > About Phone > Software update
Make sure you're connected to your wifi as the update will be 150mb or so.
Alternatively, you can download Sony Ericsson update Service SEUS and update it that way.
If there is no update available on your carrier then you should probably try debranding - although I'm not sure if it voids the warranty of the phone in your country.
Got a stupid question here What is debranding?

There is a thread that exists here which has all the firmwares according to countties written down...the 029 version u hav mentioned is the chinese or japanese rom...not sure which...just check...

Debranding is basically giving you a generic device rather than for example being on Orange, in which they have put apps on that they want, ( in my case it was traffic tv).
If you have a branded phone then you do not get updates as fast as a generic one

i have a X10i on Sony Ericsson's 2.1 ROM for the 02 network.
i have tried one 2.1 ROM which has worked on my phone which i found on XDA Devs.
i have been using Z4 root.apk and it force closes before it finishes the root.
Z4 root has worked before on my phone.
i have reinstalled the 2.1 stock ROM from Sony Ericsson 3 times to see if this will rectify the problem.
nothing seems to work
please help.
you probably have the newest variant of 2.1 (2.0.2.A.0.24) which is unrootable at present.
You need to search... maybe a few threads down from this one.

I recently reflashed my x10 to Wolfbreak's CM6.1.3 with updates.
Then i saw the pendo blue market attachment and i d/loaded it.
Flashed via xrecovery,
now whenever i open the market it force closes right away.

Did you flash the new market before flashing the pendo blue one?
no...
i flashed it at the smae time when i flash wolfbreak's ROM
i think thats the problem.
yeh that is your problem u need to log into the old market then flash the new mkt then the blue one.gd luck

You should reinstall wolfs rom. Login to the market.
Goto xrecovery
Flash newmarket then without rebooting flash pendos new blue market.
