Just get a SE x10 mini but still 1.6 original OS , i rooted it and instaled xrecovry but actually cant use a PC so cant even UPD to 2.1. So can i do any custom ROM flash via SD knowing that ? To 2.1 or better ? Or am i stuck if no computer to first UPD to 2.1 Os and firmware ?

No help ? Have been reading xda for hours and cant find infos on what can be flashed (via SD & xReco custom ) directly on a E10i with stock Andro1.6, so with no firmware update .
Maybe someone have a link wich explain that subject ( standalone upgrade without PC ) ?

Hey, just downloaded the new custom rom via my x10...
I went in my room and wanted to plug my x10 to transfer those files...
I noticed that my x10 doesnt show up the window (connect, pcc, charge)...
It doesnt charge (pc or normal) so i'm worried cause my battery is @ ~45%...
In austria 2.1 is NOT aviable but i used the nordic thing to get 2.1
Can i go to three (provider) and let my x10 repair without paying? (warranty)
I dont even know if its the cable or the connector.. noone i know has a x10...
Or is there any other thing i can do? :O

I CANNOT CONNECT to pc

i formatted the sdcard and the partition system using xrecovery... then reboot but i am stuck in the boot screen... i can't access the xrecovery and the on/off doesnt work anymore... so in order to turn off the phone, i have to take the battery out. cannot connect to PCC and SEUS...
any help or there is no more hope for my phone

Only way is to download the flash tool, flash se 2.1 rom, root it and install xrecocery.
Since your system is formated the files required for xrecovery is gone.

Just go to the flash tool thread in the development forum. There are instructions there.

i have a somewhat similar problem...i used azzuzu's method to downgrade the kernel for rooting..as it was said the phone got stuck on the sony ericsson logo and i tried to connect it according to the steps..but flashtool isnt recognising my phone anymore and busybox isnt being installed..now my phone never starts up and is always stuck at the sony ericsson logo..plz someone help sorry for posting this in your thread , feeling pretty helpless right now

Yes you can do that its called apps2sd. Is a standard feature on 2.2+ (froyo) roms. There was a thread about how to do it on 2.1 by you'll need to search or flash a custom rom that's 2.2+ and supports it.

Can someone help me find all the stock apps for my x10? I want to be able to update through sony on pc, but somehow all my stock apps (like timescape and more) disappeared from titanium backup! I don't want to do a recovery install of a stock rom because I don't know how to back up all my current apps in a manner which would prevent me from losing them all if I did so... Can anyone PLEASE help?! Thank you!

You should work with a pc ... much easier than just workin with your device (do you ?)
It's not a big deal if you got a pc, because you can get root with one-click-tool

it is very unfair that they just disregard us and make a new model with better firmware.
