Is there any way to port this on our vibrants to make it work? It only works on the lg optimus according to the market.

It's in 2.2.1 for the vibrant 4G. We'll see it soon.
That's where I noticed it but I'm still on the fence on trying a 2.2.1 rom yet.

Think there's quite a bit of work/hacking to get an i9000 ROM on the Vibrant? Does that even work (well anyway)?
The thing to watch for is a leaked Vibrant 2.3.3.

No they will not work between 2.2 and 2.2.1. There are a few key differences between them that keep it from working.

As far as I know, only the one that comes with it. I'm pretty sure CM7 kernels are modified not to be compatible with a Samsung ROM.
