Any interest in an HDPI theme (for 200-240 pixel density)? - Nook Color Themes and Apps

I've been toying with porting some HDPI themes over from my Galaxy S phone and have done so successfully. Is there any interest from anyone? If so, I can post the flashable zip after I make some more tweaks.
Let me know.

You could get arrested this in most areas.

Let me work out a few kinks. There are two I can easily port over.
The first being Cognition:
The other is Serendipity:
http://serendipityrom.weebly.com/screenshots.html
Now, don't look at these and think you're going to everything pictured under each respective ROM. Those are full blown ROMs. I'm just pulling the theme, so the overall colors and base android icons will pulled.
Cognition is the easiest because it's text color and menu colors are spot on for our devices. Serendipity would require a few tweaks since it's black text isn't working well with it's black menus. Not sure why it doesn't pull over the same as it appears on the phone, but it doesn't.

They are both pretty nice. Serendipity is SUPER awesome.
I would be happy to try them both out. I am going to flash a fresh copy of nookie Froyo, for when you are ready. I prefer to flash themes over a clean install.

Looks like they ported over the MIUI (beta) to the Captivate. I'll start working on a port immediately. I've got a couple of bigs projects this week, but will get back on the themes afterward.

Is honeybread a possible candidate? Loving it on my Cm7 Evo..

I've uploaded a modification to my theme. It now includes the Cognition HDPI theme. If you raise your LCD density, it will automatically switch to Cognition. If you want to revert back, just lower it back down to stock settings.

Yes, implants to make it compatible with CM7, but I am waiting for CM7 to become a little more stable. I would flash this update since it flashes a new services.jar.
I looked at porting to CM7, but couldn't locate the files for the menu and back button. Will probably hop back on it in the next week or so.

Can somebody make these Bionix Compatible?

THESE LOOK SO GOOD!!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=758797
as you can see on the last page, the creator of these mods stopped working on them because they switched over to froyo. These mods are much better looking than the original accurate battery, so i was hoping someone could make these compatible with some of our current ROMs? (Bionix 1.9, Bionix Final, Bionix Fusion 1.1, Stock JI6)
I'm gonna start on this tonight. Might take a little while. Lack of free time!

I agree and request this as well!
Is this the battery mod you were looking for? You said horizontal? Or were you looking for the vertical mod? I used the png's from the web page provided. I didn't do everything yet, so let me know if anything should be changed.

Yes, just gonna take longer cause ill have to edit each image. The color actually changes every 20 units, but making them all blue would be much easier! Maybe just make 0-10 red?

Just compiled this really fast. It should work and has the blue horizontal battery icons and notification icon changes from s0niqu3's thread.
This is just a MetaMorph to change the images as the Bionix ROMS have the accurate battery fix already.
Edit at 15:13 - Tested working on mine.

It's still pretty simple. Just need to make sure the structure is right and the file names match the images you are trying to replace. Which parts of the carbon black morph do you want in there?

[Theme] Gingerbread CM6.1

Made this for myself and thought I would share. Support will be minimal due to time limitations. Unless there is a major problem.
This has been used with CM6.1 on both a Vibrant and Nexus One.
Not responsible if you don't know what you are doing.
Included apk's are:
- Browser.apk
- Contacts.apk
- Phone.apk
- Settings.apk
- mms.apk
- framework-res.apk
All of these are fully themed using the gingerbread files graphics files.
XML edits were also done to make the menus black with white text.
I didn't include the gmail app since it is from the market now. If you want to theme the notification icon, use a morph that is posted in the theme section. Or use ninja morph.
Enjoy!
p.s. must change clock date and notification text colors to match in CyanogenMOD settings (UI tweaks)
Wow booted with no problem. Awesome work... can u boot this on a nexus too or did u modify it from the nexus, for the cm6 for vibrant... its really themed well.
It will work on the nexus as well. Confirmed by my co-worker.
Nice! Maybe I can use other cyanogen mod themes from the nexus forums
Do I load this using morph or CW?
Flash in clockwork recovery
Looks good. Just want to know,
in case I want to go back to the previous theme, what should I do?
Thanks for the work and help.

I just ripped open the framework-res.apk included in this theme and the green bar .png's are indeed there, so not sure what's causing them not to show up.
What weather widget is that? Can I find that somewhere around here?
ok so, there must be some major issues with the network in my area today. I normally get bars and today I haven't gotten any but my data is there, however, very spotty as well. Guess is they're fixing the network or something. The green bars should show up as they have on other 2.3 themes, as the .png's appear to be there in this theme as well. Thanks OP.

the notification bar IS transparent. the thing is that with not stock launchers (ambient time, launcherpro, adw...etc) they use the status bar app background png, which is solid black. unless u use a live wallpaper. i cant do anything about that yet cause it makes the status bar invisible in other appps

Starting around post 900, people were having problems with v5.0 booting up, guess that wasn't related to this theme, but rather Task's, must have read it wrong.... when I flashed v5.0 and then this theme right away, I got stuck at the Android text boot animation - when I flashed the ROM first and then let it boot completely, then went back to flash the theme, it worked just fine, so that's where I drew my conclusions from.... didn't mean to insult anyone, if I did!

ICS Theme for SHOstock2 WORKS on 1.3 and 2.0 (and other roms - - BACKUP!)

I decided to try the SHOstock2 theme from the wonderful team of individuals here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1584144
UPDATE: WORKS ON SHOSTOCK2 2.0!!
My main problems with the "theme" is it totally messes with your stock apk files by adding extra AOSP apks or replacing apks. (AOSP MMS, AOSP Calendar...), the weird charging image bug, and the out-of-alignment signal icon while on wi-fi.
After reflashing SHOstock2 v1.1, I decided to just re-jigger this theme to an actual VR theme which will NOT mess with the rom's stock apk files (I love TW Calendar compared to AOSP).
This is just an image swap pseudo-theme which replaces the stock SHOstock2 battery icon and themes the Settings, Frameworks (-res and tw) and SystemUI. It does NOT add or replace apks and may work on other roms than SHOstock2. (I am using it with SHOstock2 v1.3)
I have fixed the charging animation bug and the out of alignment signal icon on wifi. The clock is NOT themed blue. See my screenshot attached.
I want to mention that most of this theme is not my own work but an arrangement of other work I have come across here on XDA.
Download the VR theme here: http://www.mediafire.com/?b97o5ozyy7edi2o
Save the zip on your phone and flash in CWM recovery.
You can replace the dock icons using any of the great icons from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590114
I do not wish to offend anyone here. I appreciate the thought of the original theme and wish to only make it easier in my eyes without messing with any of the original rom's functions. Thank you for your consideration!
Working fine with Phone-Bricker as well.

It is basically some image changes and I just flashed it over SHOstock 2 v2.0 and it works just fine. That is the whole purpose of the VR Theme System...cross rom compatibility.
Hopefully I helped some of you get a slight bit more polish in your Sammy roms.
