why not try re-flashing it again? clear dalvik cache, wipe cache/partition before flashing it again,
I've been trying that no luck I just bought it and everything was working fine until the guy did a factory restore and I emailed him and he sent me a file not sure what's going on not sure what the extension is supposed to be since I'm on 1.6.1 but it didn't work

same here. i tried 100 times in 100 different ways to go from 1.6.0 to 1.6.1 or 1.7.0 but no luck....
Just remembered, factory resets does not work on 1.6.0 and 1.6.1, here's what you should do, download 1.5.1 update.zip, put it on the root of your sd card, flash 1.5.1, reboot, do a factory reset, then flash 1.6.0 or 1.6.1 which ever you like, remember, factory resets does not work on 1.6.0 and 1.6.1, factory resets only work on 1.5.1 and 1.7 hope this helps.
Yeah I went to 1.7.0 and it worked but I was having problems getting it to search for network operators so I am going down to 1.5.1 and I'm going to flash 1.6.1 and see how that works

Install 1.7.0 , then do factory reset from setting screen.(within froyo). It will fix your wifi-data problem. Worked for me. My install file looks like that:
perfmod
stockphone
us200
tabmail
volboost
bios
adwlauncher
Works like champion. Quadrant score average 2200

thats what i did yesterday and did it again today, anyone knows how to fix this? or whats the root cause?
usually it is the baseband, just need to update amss.mbn (baseband file).
Its a common problem. When u factory reset on the first screen, make sure you are currently on v. 1.5.1...then go back to 1.6.1...worked for me. Lemme know if this works.
I am now having problem doing a Nandroid back up. Everytime backing up reaches "backing up first boot" my streak freezes. Anyone have an idea what is happening to my Streak? I was able to do 3 back ups prior to this occurence. Any ideas, suggestions is highly appreciated.
Never mind guys, Solved the problem...

How did you solve it. I have the same problem.
You probably need froyo performance fix, I was having same problem but it got resolved once I applied the fix

I cleared the cache/log on my internal sd card using root explorer. If you would finish the back up there is an indicator saying no more space or something on cache/log

Update:
Manage to install clockwork recovery after several tries, I don't know why. I have done it before with success from first try.
Cleared cache and seemed to work but at the end I had an error "cannot mount /datadata/ etc... Cannot find E:\misc.
???

I recommend that you try Streakmod Recovery, it's been modified to work with the Streak better. XDA Thread here.
Now I can not make a back up of my 322/341 2.2.2 breeed, sticking at backing up firstboot again even if I cleared the cached again, anyone does have any idea on how to fix this problem? I am using StreakMod recovery since I got my Streak.
Hi all, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents, I was stuck on the nandroid backup "backing up firstboot" part. I cleared out more space on my SD card incase it was that & it worked! I don't think I did anything else in between so this must have been my solution!
Goodluck to anyone who's stuck!
froyo performance fix works can do back up after back up
Performance fix only works on certain roms, 305, 309, 318 but it dies not work on others ki kev 340, 341, 345

installed 1.1 correctly, everything worked find, upgraded to 1.2 everything went smoothyly except when i try to install any app from the market i get an error "The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Try to clear cache under applications for the market. But you should ask this at the rom thread....

Flashed this rom (and kernel) and now I am not able to get past the TBolt boot screen with the thunder. Hung there for over 2 mins.
-I flashed the kernel with hboot
-installed the ROM with CWR (rom manager) 3.0.2.4
-also cleared the download cache in Rom Manager, deleted and reflashed the recovery.
Still hangs...

usually best practice is, wipe data X2, wipe cache X2, wipe dalvik cache X2, then flash the rom, fully boot the rom, go back to Hboot and flash the kernal.
I believe they are saying to NOT wipe 1.1 for this ROM? I could be wrong. I think they said to just flash OVER the current 1.1, as wiping will cause it to hang on the cloud screen. I think that's the lastest from that 30+ page thread .
Fix permissions on cwr.

Reflash ROM and wipe your data and cache. Had the same problem, and that worked for me.

what do you mean you lost root... hboot no longer shows S-Off?
and my bad, I didn't know their second version of the rom was all weird and needed to be flashed over the original.
Hmm just checked hoot still shows s_off but root checker says Su not found in path. Also still getting that weird market error when I try to install anything. It downloads just won't install.

you have to have version 1.1 installed first. So you need to wipe data and cache. Flash version 1.1 and reboot. Let it get past the clouds and boot into the rom. go back into cwm and flash 1.2. DO NOT WIPE DATA!!! Wiping cache is fine. If you wipe data you will have problems.
I'm not surewhat to do about fixing this, I know it's a baseband issue, but the fix that worked last time hasn't worked today...
Currently I have a 354 baseband flashed onto streakdroid 1.9.1 flashed over a 354 recovery image.
When I first flashed 1.9.1 the 345 bb I used didn't work, so I flashed the 354 and it worked fine, then I eventually had instabilities that ended up in a perpetual bootloop, which led me to the actions above.
Any ideas?

I know this may sound like a lot but I promise you it's worth the trouble...
Flash stock recovery for 354 of that's the one you like. Download and flash the 354 update.pkg and flash.
Do a factory reset and let it boot up.
Now flash Streakmod and boot into Streqkmod (I assume you know not to let the stock ROM boot up so it wont overwrite Streakmod)
Flash 1.9.1 again, do another factory reset and then give it time to reboot and any woes you have had should now disappear
Sagely advice and I'll try it, also, the latest streakmod boots into streakmod recovery automatically now
