I currently using freex10 beta4 but it seem that many people are saying that CM ROM is much more faster and smoother than freex10 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=945264
1) Is it true it's better?
2) Can I install darkstyle theme on this ROM? Cause I really like the darkstyle.
3) What is data2SD? From what I know is choosing the apps to move to SD card? Isn't it the same as the one is freex10?
Going flash soon, please reply ASAP and thanks!
Data2sd you can run your ROM from your SD. Its faster but experimental becouse its not always stable. Darkstyle should work

Nothing is better than others, try it out and feel it yourself.
2) Can I install darkstyle theme on this ROM? Cause I really like the darkstyle.
There is a dark style already inside CM Rom.

What do you mean by that? From what I see from the SS, it not darkstyle.

I just installed beta4. And I just knew of cyanogenmod, is it a must, will it make a big difference?
And does installing the theme which include cyanogenmod settings equal the same as cyanogenmod ROM?

HI Mates,
Please suggest me a best ROM with less bugs for my daily use which has froyo look.
Any modification to current GUI or customization for that look will also do instead of flashing the rom.
Please help!!

Hey friend..
Which ROM are you using and is the battery life stable for the one mentioned above?
You are in the wrong forum for this!

And does this have multitouch enabled..? as i dont see any description regarding the multitouch. Also confirm if official updates are applicable or not.PLZ
I believe this is the wrong forum for tgis topic. Blasphemy!
It should be in Q&A.
That being said, i personally use wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3 ROM. It is very stable and works perfectly for me.

I'd recommend Wolfbreak's 6.1.3 too. It's pretty smashing
- the best rom ever...and I have been testing everything...on my x10i...

multi touch is enabled in all roms, they released multi touch in one of the 2.1 updates.
Wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3 ROM is the best and stable 2.2 rom out there....

I have not tried Wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3.
I have been using Z's FreeX10 Beta4 rom for over a month now and it is great. Extremely fast and very smooth and it feels like a totally different phone.
No issues or major bugs to report so far.
Peace,
BAMA
HI Mates,
I have installed the Mod and its very fine..But there is a new problem!
Before the Mod..i have created a partition of 500mb on the sdcard to move the applications from internal memory. After the MOD installation only the 500mb is visible but the other 3gb is not available.Pls help!
I think FreeX10 beta 4 is best rom !
It's pure android 2.2 rom
Sorry for my bad english

6.1.3 v4.5.7
No doubt, cyanogenmod 6.1.3 v.4.5.7 because it records video and is 99.9% functional

I'm looking at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=911364 and cannot work out if I've downloaded the correct file from the 2nd post or what to do with the rar once I've unpacked it?
I've already had a play with z's free x10 b3 & b4 & wolfbreaks CM6.1.3 v05, and I'm up to speed on flashing baseband via flashtool, so I'm not totally new to his, but I downloaded from the third link in the 2nd post and extracted but cannot find a zip file to use with xrecovery.
Is this ROM installed differently? Am I doing something wrong?
Any help woud be greatly appreciated!
look for: Update.zip
When you extract the .rar file there shoiuld be a file called update.zip. This is the file you can use from within xRecovery.
But why should you use v10. v11 is out and some of us experience less WLOD's.
v11 works for me, also with update.zip.
Good luck!
Thanks for the info, I'll give it a go at some point this week.

I'm on the newest version 2.2.1 from Cyanogen right now.
Whats the different with this one?
I mean not the differents between 2.2 and 2.3 but: what is working already in 2.3?
There are camera issues. The camera app isn't working which means that you will not be able to take images.
You will experience random system reboots.
Basically for me 2.2 froyo rom us more stable than cm7

Thanks for the info.
I will wait till the 2.3.3 version is more stable.
Having done a bit more reading I think I'll stick with CM6 based ROM's for now, let CM7 become a little bit more stable!
Hopefully it'll be before SE release the 2.3 update
Knowing our devs it definitely will be : )
Yeah, I'm fairly new to these boards but I've been pleasantly surprised by the speed of new releases and updates for the ROM's that I've been using.
I'm still in the procss of trying to decide which ROM is best for me, so I'm having to go through constant reinstalls of all my apps and so on which is a nuisance but worth it for the improved speed & functionality!
psx you should use "my backup root" for all your apps so you dont constantly reinstall them.

There's ways around that?!? Will look for that in the market right now, if it works then you've saved me no end of time & hassle!

why do you guys keep comparing ROMs, every ROM has his advantages ahead of others in a specific way (and its cons too), for example nothing stands ahead of Feralab when it comes to tweaks and new stuff, including the BEST camera,
this one has a new look so it makes it a unique experience, enjoy DEVs works and keep positive constructive feedback
which kernels?
someone has reported that doomkernel not work.. Can someone report which kernels better/more suitable with this ROM? fxp-kernel or Kckernel fxp-mod?
thanks..
What about video camera lags?
Where do you get these roms m8? Awsome!!!!!!!
Only problem I notice is the amount of Chinese writing especially the clock

Yes sir. CM7 the best. Is the most bug-free/fast/stable rom. CM9/10 just for playing with new android os.
