Let me guess that you did not wipe data and wipe Dalvik cache before you restarted the phone?
If not, try that and reflash KF.

Also you need to let the phone sit when you power it on, for about 10-15 minutes. Don't get impatient, it sometimes can take a long time for roms to boot up. I've seen a guy say it took almost 20 minutes for a rom to boot up for the first time.

try downloading another rom, i suggest http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1245424
then boot into recovery mode and mount the USB so ou an tranfer the rom to your evo.
then wipe the data
then go to advanced and wipe delvik chache
then install the rom from sd card
it may take a while to boot, apparently sometimes like 30 minutes. so just let it do its thing.
if this doesnt work try a different rom
or
grab the roger RUU from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1208485 and go back to stock
Thanks dude did another rom and it's fine so far

[Q] Reset to fully stock

So i purchased an atrix 4g off of eBay, and it has a few Root applications on it, but isn't actually rooted.
The android recovery mode is also broken, i get an android robot with the Attention symbol. Would post a link to one i found on the internet but i cannot since i am under 8 posts.
The phone was on 2.3.6 build # 4.5.141 when i received it. and i have done nothing to it so far.
So maybe someone applied OTA updates and killed the root or something, idk.
in the end the end i would like to root it with some ISC.
So is there anyway i can Reset everything to stock out of the box. Or to fix the problems with recovery?
Also for now it wont really be used as a phone, as i don't have a sim yet.
To cover the basics here let's make sure the phone isn't bootloader unlocked or rooted. To check bootloader, when you boot the phone, does the moto screen say "Unlocked" in top left hand corner of the screen? If not, it isn't. Then for root, check it with the app root checker basic or pro from market. Get back to the thread once you can answer those questions and then I will post something to help you with the getting ics.
Sent from my Atrix with XDA Premium
Both of those come up as a no So no unlocked boot loader and no root
Try this but you know the risks of messing with the phone right??? Read EVERYTHING before you do. Your phone says a different version of firmware than the thread but if you look back in the posts of the thread in the end, it will work. You can also read the Atrix thread stickies.
Edit.... having trouble posting link ... give me sec.
Edit 2....can't post from phone. Let me post it from my computer when I get to the computer in the morning.

Try cm9. Here's the order you should do it in:
1. Full wipe
2. Flash 0.6
3. Flash 0.6 again
4. Flash gapps

Have you flashed a different ROM for the time being to at least have a working phone? Like a blur or cm7 ROM?
Sent from my Atrix with XDA Premium
Thats is what i was going to try next, i havent got to it today.
Are you flashing plugged in? Try flashing the rom without having your phone plugged in.
Also, if you're at the M logo screen, I suggest waiting it out for quite a while. Be patient. I used to think when I flashed roms that I was stuck at M logo, but I just wasn't waiting long enough, especially coming from a full wipe.
Otherwise, try doing a battery pull and then putting it back in and booting it up.
You can also try using Nottachtrix with the installer? I've heard that fixes a lot of people's problems that are getting stuck at logo screen.
well right now it seems that the battery is dead and wont charge....
So im not sure what im gonna do about that
Ok so im installing NottachTrix now will report how it went when done.
Also about leaving it on to boot, i did that for 24 hours, nothing happened
Edit:
It seems to be working so far. The phone is stuck at a charging screen with a battery icon, much more than it was before.

Wipe cache partition, wipe data, wipe delvik. Install Rom (cm7). Reboot recovery. Install gapps. Reboot now. If it's not working perhaps you cwm is outdated?

How long do I wait for reboot after flash SuperNexus?

Hello,
Newbie here. Followed all instructions on the SuperNexus ROM and did the flash, hit reboot and now I have been waitong on a loading screen with a nice colourful X for around 20 mins...
How long do I wait?
Maybe try to reflash the rom. Don't know about Supernexus specificaly, but 20 minutes is in general too long for a reboot after flashing a rom.

Reboot into recovery and wipe data/factory reset and then reboot and should boot to rom. As mentioned above 20 mins is generally too long, 5 mins usually max I would wait.
Whenever you flash a new rom you should wipe data/factory reset before flashing. Only times you shouldnt is if you're simply installing a rom update like a CM nightly etc. Rom/kernel cleaning scripts that you flash via cwm are also good for cleaning old crap and avoid issues. You can backup/restore all your apps/appdata with Titanium Backup Pro.
Even 5 minutes is a long time, the average bootscreen I get after flashing a new ROM is 2-3 minutes. 20 minutes is definately a boot loop. Just go back into CWM wipe data and reflash.
If you have information you don't want to wipe though then try and reflash the ROM you were previously on and boot up, or use a cleaning script to try and get past the bootloop. However, you're going to need to wipe at some point or it will be very unstable.

lol, no it isnt. A "bootloop" is when your device just keeps rebooting in a loop, ie goes to a logo/kernel screen reboots and goes back and does same, hence "loop". If its stuck on a screen for 20 mins its just stuck, not in a "loop".

No real need to re-flash just yet as 9/10 you can simply wipe data, although flashing aswel wouldnt hurt.

Or restore from backup user made. (If he had enough sense to make one).
Well then it's stuck, if I slipped up and said bootloop does it really matter, the effects are the same in that his device isn't working. If I wipe data I always reflash afterwards, and a backup would be a great suggestion, but given he is "newbie" and this is his first post, and he's obviously got about as much clue about these things as Inspector Clouseau in a coma, restore a backup probably isn't going to happen. If he does have a backup though (meaning he has some clue), why on earth has this thread ever been made?
I'm not really sure why you addressed me directly over some totally unimportant points but thanks, I like to write stuff.

Nothing personal dude, was just that I was addressing the 5 minute thing so thought I would split it up a bit
I personally use cleaning scripts for rom/kernel before every flash now except for cm nightly updates.
Thanks to everyone who replied. Not sure why people end up arguing in these threads though. lol
In a nutshell I left it for over an hour just in case, then I turned it off and on, powered into recovery with CWM did the data wipe and then rebooted again into recovery to flash in the SuperNexus file and the Google Apps file. I did one at a time with a reboot after each file flash, that speeds up the process a lot. Took about 2 mins per flash to work.
This is awesome!

Help please. Hyberdrive and Cleanrom Bootloop

Fixed but I have no idea how or why. If any can explain I would appreciate it.
I was on TWRP and flashed Hyperdrive which caused me to Boot loop at the Samsung screen. I then tried to restore my backup which failed. I then went through and wiped all the data and tried a different rom (Clean rom) this caused boot issues too.
I ODIN using factory image which still boot looped. I then went into recovery ( i lost TWRP when I odin'd) and wiped everything and still boot looped. I wiped everything again 3 times and this time I was able to get into my stock rom.
I am confused with is happening inside the phone that caused the boot loop and why I still had boot loops even after a ODIN restore.

Wow, 10 minutes? Yeah ok, I definitely didn't wait that long before. I started to freak out a bit when it started resetting continuously. I thought the waiting would be just sitting at the boot screen and then when my restore failed the worst things were going through my head.
I am having the same issue after I reinstalled hyperdrive v6 where do I wait 10mins at?
My bootlooping starts at the language selection screen do I wait 10mins at the installation page?
Fixed it.... it was the Walkman player.
i have the answer!!
dont install any of the audio hacks and also dont install the walkman musci player just use the samung one ... peace!!!!!
