I dunno if it will be useful but here's the 2.3.2 Market .apk for HVGA screens for people whose market didn't update automatically (like in my case).

I can't. It says it is installed already. It looks the same as when my X8 was running 2.1 but now I have installed 2.3.3 Hackdroid

My version is for people who have the problem with updating 2.1 market. This problem was in my case when I've installed fresh, original, Indonesian 2.1.1.A.0.6

I just updated my girlfriends x10 mini pro to android 2.1 and applied the z4 root.
I'm currently trying to get all the basics re-done on the update os.
Do you guys know if there is an updated version of the market with a fix applied to see all apps (e.g. apps for larger screens?)
For example: I can't seem to find AdFree Android on the currently installed market version.
I had an fixed market installed on 1.6. Can I just use this and re-patch the current original version after installing all the apps?

The CM6 rom runs the old version of android market, so I flashed the .zip in the following link with xrecovery and got an updated version of market, but I just cant verify if its updating or not can someone check it out?

Are live wallpapers Android OS version specific?
My friend has a Galaxy S and never updated the OS so it was 2.1 Eclair?
Last night, using KIES, we could update to 2.2 Froyo and then on to 2.3 Gingerbread. The dandelion wallpaper disappeared and was not in the market so I found it on the internet and downloaded it.
It doesn't run on her phone. I tried it on my SE Arc too and it doesn't load. Just get the 'force close' message.
I know she will enjoy setting up 2.3 to her liking, but she did like the dandelions!

yes its possible that a lwp will be incompatible with different api levels. im afraid youll never be able to use that wallpaper again.

All I can say is the ROM is totally PERFECT....but one big problem is that some of the apps became incompatible to my phone....such as TweetDeck and Viber...they used to work with the stock rom...but with Cyanogen, I can't download it from the android market, so I assumed it was some kind of bug in the market so I downloaded the apk file itself but yet it wouldn't install.....

Hello guys I am having trouble finding , installing and running apks for older version of android: 2.3 GingerBread. I tried apk mirror and other mirroring websites but for example I cannot find a workin version of Shazam for 2.3 GingerBread. If I try to install higher version I get "Parsing error" upon installation.
Any ideas?
