Can someone get me a list for safe apps to remove from x10 mini system/apps folder so that i don`t brick my phone. I`ve searched for this in the forum but it havent caught my eye. Or is there maybe a script or smth that removes them and maybe does a backup to the SD? I know that there is a script for the x10 big for it.
If you're talking about the system apps like Maps and stuff, I've also been looking for something to remove those...
Anyone please help us?!?

Hi, i am a newbee on android, i bought x10 minipro (u20i). There is no market installed and i cannot install any applications. I have read many posts and am getting more confused.
Please can someone explain in simple words from A to Z how to install market. My phone is unbranded that is not fixed to any service provider.

Try using an alternate market such as AppBrain(www.appbrain.com) or Applanet (www.applanet.net) (Slightly Illegal)
I can only find 'MarketUpdater.apk' in the System Apps, not sure if thats the right thing, i can upload it if you want. (You will also need Google Talk for the market to work)
Edit: The Market apps i have are from 2.1, update to 2.1 and see if the market appears.
already updated to 2.1 but no market.
tried using slideme and others. Sites open but when i try to download any applocation it says web page not available.

First, sorry guys for making this thread, i know most of you here will tell me to go read, read and search but i know some will be able to answer me
I just updated my x10i to 2.1 using pc companion. And i want to know if i can do the following to my phone without rooting it (i dont even know whats rooting anyway).
1. Apply theme
2. Add widgets like clock, the remaining storage or anything u can suggest
3. last is font
I want to know if its possible? And maybe you can bright me up a bit about this..

well, apply themes i think is unable
adding widget depend on the app itself.. some need root to use the app
font im sure that root is needed. cos im using new font as well
actually u can go search for z4root. jz 1click, ur x10 is rooted

I was able to add/remove apps, but do you have any idea how to root/app2sd/JiT? I tried copying the files needed for JiT, and Linpack/Quadrant in the app folder but when I tested it seems nothing happened.

U don't need the cache. The apk will automatically download it over WiFi.

My xperia U, which is just a week old eating lot of RAM after updating to ICS
So i rooted it by Bin4ry method..
i want to know which all apps i can remove without causing any damage to my cell
if someone can please list all the removable apps
And am using ROOTEXPLORER for deleting apps also i want to know whether i have to delete .odex files also or not??
