i've bricked my vibrant and managed to get it to download mode using JIG
now i need the stock t-mobile rom to use with odin
can anyone please upload\provide link to a stock t-mobile vibrant rom that i can use with odin?

Use the BIBLE, it has the ODIN files in it under the ROMS section. This belongs in Q&A btw.

Guys, I tired to flash the s3 look and feel rom from the galasy s2 android development theard on my s2 and now it wont swtich on. It will boot in download mode but no recovery. when I connect it to power, the battery icon only comes on once and then it switches off. Sometimes the screen starts flashing.
Could someone kindly advise how can I get around this?

Hi,
If the phone boots only into download mode, that's still a good sign. Just use the Odin tool and flash the new ROM. I know that doesn't help but need to stay calm and find the proper images.

You've obviously flashed it incorrectly or onto a incompatible rom or device variant. Next time read before flashing.

Any one you want. Download a stock ICS or GB ROM from sammobile.com, and flash through Odin. Lucky you didn't brick your device, READ TWICE, FLASH ONCE.

You should also confirm what model phone you have. Look on the label under the battery. What does it say for model?
flashing the stock firmware is the best option .. that solved my problem in the past .
flash the stock rom using odin . That is the best way to revive a bricked phone .

Before you flashed the new Rom was you using gb or ics stock Rom?

Ok so the stock Rom you are downloading should be ok,i had the same problem a few days ago used the ics stock Rom xxlph, flashed using odin, all working fine now

Dont panic, just download a firmware for your phone and region from www.samfirmware.com and flash via odin.
I downloaded the firmware.. I opened Odin. so do i now, open the downloaded firmware via the PDA button? or do i need to unzip the firmware or anything?
PDa is correct, no need to unzip, just click what you downloaded.

but when I clicked PDA and went to where i downloaded the file, it isnt there :O
oh nvm guys, I extracted my downloaded file and it was in .tar format so i flashed it via Odin and all's well. Thanks a lot btw! Really appreciate it

Well, that's 2 i9100 ROM suggestions to an i9100G owner, in what is quickly degenerating into a best ROM thread. That will quickly land him back into the same situation he faced in post 1.
