Hope all guru here could help me answer few question I'm doubt recently. I'm new to vibrant and android sorry if my question are too noob for u guys....
1) recently i had flash my vibrant to jk6 rom. I found there are still having GPS problem. Is it vibrant has hardware issues on GPS?
2) everytime i flashing new rom, does I need to ODIN it back to JFD?
3) i saw quite alot ppl talking about lagfixed. what is that?

Try using gpsrestore app in the market.that should help fix the gps issues.along with Froyo Rom.that worked for me. Before gps was non working before froyo. Try that app.good luck

I have already odined back to 2.1 Kies mini isn't working. I'm sure the files are somewhere in these forums :S

I have a same question, I could not find out the stock rom in Vibrant Bible, the build name is T959UVKB5, anyone help me!
Yeah stay away from Kies, hard bricked me, had to riff box recover.
I was looking for stock 2.2 recently too, hard to find most links didn't work.
Is there any specific reason you need stock? Most 2.2 roms now are plenty stable.

I just came from trigger cm7 14. Didnt like the battery drain and missed my GPS and wifi calling.
I LOVE the blazers! I live in Vanc and work in Portland. You think Oden will do well? Either way im glad rudy is gone

Yeah barring a long lockout, next season very dependent on oden. If he plays decent I see blazers doing very well

Has anyone had luck installing Ubuntu on their I777?
I'm using the stock ROM that came from Rogers (canada telecom), and I've tried two different guides for installing ubuntu, neither of which have had any success.
The phone is rooted, but I'm assuming this is my stock ROM preventing me from doing things Rogers doesn't want me to do. I'm planning on switching to Cyanogen, but I figured I might as well just wait for stable cyanogen 9 instead of struggling to get 7.1 working.
you need a custom kernel like entropy and or siyha or whatever is called

This actually works on every Galaxy branded phone I've tried (as well as any android phone), as long as the file system is set up the same way... (with /sdcard being the internal and /sdcard/external_sd being the external SD.
Hello everyone,
I need your help!
I currently have a Samsung Vibrant (T-Mobile). That is rooted and it has ICS Passion 13.1
I've used it for a while and so far I like it but here is the problem. Few of the apps that I've paid for have me "banned" from their servers, since my IMEI/MEID its generic, and they don't trust/support rooted devices due to "security issues". Is there a way to have my phone unrooted but at the same time to use ICS, or is there a an easier way to fix that?

You might be able to use PDroid to fake them out with a random or specific IMEI.

hey folks, i was wondering if there was anything that can be done about the sound on our device (gt-p5113). Most Samsung phones has some kind of software-level sound enhancement that is baked into most roms, or flashable via cwm (or whatever recovery is being used). i was curious to know that was available for the tablets as well.
I am currently using the Noozxoide-eizo rewire app, and its helping, but its got nothing on my gs2 with the beats baked in along with that app...
If anyone knows if this even exists and can direct me where to find it, it would be most helpful.

Your in the wrong section, this is for GT-P75xx series (Galaxy Tab 10.1). Search Google using xda gt-p5113 and you should find your right section and people to answer your specific device question.
