OMG, they sold out just that fast. I was just browsing for accessories when I saw the link with prime from Amazon. Ordered it and came to post hear. Clicked on the link in first post and gone. I just ordered the transformer from BestBuy a hour ago.

Well, the closest Fry's to me is 150 miles south in the Bay Area, I think I'll skip that, thanks anyway though. NorCal is pretty much devoid of Fry's, except for the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area's.
Edit-Just for fun I checked their online availability tool, it seems the Campbell (SF Bay Area) and Roseville (Sacramento area) stores have them in stock, but Campbell is 170 miles south of me, and Roseville is 150 miles southeast of me, with gas costs that would easily bring the price of it to over $200

That sucks. At least you have the TF. I just returned my A500. When the refund hits my account I'll try and pick up the TF... I have a funny feeling everything will be sold out again by then.

That's true, I bought mine from Best Buy online, I actually have one of those fairly close to me, it's 70 miles south of here in Santa Rosa. We have Staples and WalMart in Ukiah (the "big" city in Mendocino County at 16,000, about 10 miles south of my place), but Staples here only sells the Xoom, and WalMart only sells the iPad and iPad2. They seem to be in stock more and more and longer and longer now, I don't think you'll have a problem getting one soon.
So you tried out the Acer, what did you think of it? I looked at them, but it's 100 bucks more, and it looks like it's a lot thicker and heavier. I love my TF anyway, so I'm all set

I just ordered an extra battery cover off of ebay for under $15.00. I'm sure you could find someone on there who would ship overseas if you contacted them and explained the shipping situation before you bid on it.

Wishful thinking.
Anyway, they have no docks that can be ordered. Nice tablet, but incomplete without the keyboard. And so reasonable to wait until they're both available in quantity. February?
Of course, by then more information about the rumored next-gen Samsung tablet will be out, so I can be patient.

Well, after having my Best Buy preorder cancelled and getting no response from executive customer support I'm ready to say screw them and try throwing my hat in with expansys. With no tax and the $20 off coupon I end up saving about $45 anyway.
So maybe I don't get it until my birthday in mid-January... thanks to BB being a bunch of $^@%!## I wouldn't have anyway (I'm not bitter, no, not at all!)

Someone suggested once you get your tracking number you can call fedex and have them keep it there so you can pick it up. You should get your tracking # by Thursday. Call Fedex and see what they can do...

I've read on other threads in this forum that AT&T never makes people sign for packages... But I've also obviously heard that they do make you sign. WHO KNOWS!!!

Not good if you haven't got a tracking number yet.
If your really itchy to see if your package is shipped...if they are shipping via ups you can enter in the order number in to track by reference and enter in the order date and zip code and it will show up the shipping info, i tried it with an IPhone that I ordered in November and it came right up by using the order number. (Which ATT did ship the IPhone via UPS). But im pretty sure you can do the same thing with fedex.
But this will drive you crazy too, by keep going and trying the info till something come up...everyday...every hour...every min!

well this is sunday so probably wont go out until tomorrow, and 2 day shipping will get it to you on wed. makes sense, they are probably printing out all the labels and getting ready to get them out tomorrow on the truck.

Whack, I ordered it through Wirefly friends and family for $139 but it's expected to ship on the 20th. With 2-3 day and the holidays coming up, god knows when it will arrive.
At least I get my Nexus 4 16GB tomorrow to play around with. I'll compare both devices to my current phone (International Note 2 GT-N7100) to see which one I will keep as my main device. I'm thinking it might be my Note 2 though, it's just too good to give up..
All 3 devices will be on 3 different networks, LOL. Nexus 4 will be on T-Mobile, my Note 2 is on AT&T and the DNA well of course on Verizon.
I ordered through wirefly as well, did overnight shipping though. It no longer says pre-order on their website so they might be shipping mine out tomorrow(wishful thinking) or day after.
Will FedEx leave it at the door or does someone have to sign for it?

It's Indirect Signature, so if you leave a signed note on your door, they will leave it. Works every time for me.

Yes, my tracking gives the exact same time and date.
However, FedEx does not ship and deliver per UPS and their deliveries have been known to come way ahead of the tracking info.
It is never to early to leave that notice. Better safe then sorry.
I'm debating ordering online, I really want the phone tomorrow but it doesn't look like Verizon lets you do overnight delivery, so it may be quicker for me to pick it up Wednesday.

This may be off the point (and correct me if I'm wrong) but when I bought this phone online I was given a $30.00 discount for upgrading after my two year contract had expired.
However, I still paid a $30.00 "upgrade fee" at checkout. So I paid $199.00 total: before sales tax.
If you purchase this device at the store will you get that $30.00 discount....off of the $199.00 fee?
Or will you have to pay the $199.00 plus the $30.00 upgrade fee for a total of $229.00?

I ended up getting 50 dollars off for upgrading while signing a new contract... so it would have been 150, but there's a 30 dollar upgrade fee plus tax, came out to 191. Not bad considering I'm selling my Rezound for 200!
Anyone know if Best Buy is going to offer this phone? I will be buying this off contract, so it really doesnt matter who I buy it from, just curious.
