Is there a way to enable geotagging of photos in the Atrix camera application?
I've had a look and couldn't find anything so any help would be much appreciated...
Yes, go to tags in the camera menu. It is in there. Took me a couple minutes to find also.

Hi guys. Not really sure if its normal or not, but in my gallery app, which is the stock app, there is a location being displayed under my camera album. In my case it says "Santa Ana, California." Has anyone else experienced this? The text is is smaller font than the album titles and not as bold. I am using evil fascination rom btw.

nevermind guys sorry for the dumb question. it seems that the camera automatically tags the location of where the picture was shot when gps is turned on while taking the shot.

Yeah, this arrived with 2.2 and I think has been around since DL30 showed up.
Hi all,
Is there a Date/Time stamp option for the Tbolt camera? Or a an app that will put the date on pics taken by the camera? Considering all the settings this phone has, I've probably overlooked a setting somewhere.

When you go to a picture in your gallery app u hit menu and it says something like picture info and gives the date btw I use quickpic

Thanks again, BlackHoleSlam. I had an HTC Fuze with the date stamp feature and can't understand why HTC would omit it on a nice camera like the Tbolt camera. Kinda like buying a new Mercedes with only 3 wheels.

For a while now, my gallery hasnt been working. I am using the stock 2.3.4 gallery.
When i open the gallery, all my pictures show up, but when i try to view one of them, a blurred version of the picture shows up with a loading symbol, but the picture never loads.
I dont know what to do and even after several reboots it hasnt been working.
Can someone tell me what is going on and how to fix it?
I'm not sure what it is but since I found quickpic in the market I never looked back. Much faster, full of options. Give it a try!

I actually did download quickpic but all the pictures I took with the phones camera didn't show up.
Only new pictures that I take are showing up

Hm.. It's not that it goes to the last viewed folder or something? Try pressing the back button.
Or check the hidden folder option in settings.

You may need to go into the QuickPic settings and add the folder where the existing pictures were saved.
I'm not sure what the problem is because the picture thumbnails right showing up but when I try to view them, there is just a loading symbol but it never loads. Honestly this is getting very annoying, now that I haven't been able to view the pics for over a week now.

I seem to have fixed it for now but this has happened before and usually the same problem keeps coming back.
Also, could someone tell me if there is supposed to be a .nomedia file in DCIM> Camera?

Hey,
I have been searching for a while now but I cannot find anything on this.
Instagram continiously crashes on my S3 . It zooms, but pressing the shutter button its not responding and basically I cant take any picture with it.
Other camera apps and stock app works, but I have no idea where this comes from. The app works on my evo3d and my hd2.
Any tips, hints?

I've looked, but I can't really think of what it could be called. I would like to set an image as camera input? Like so that I'd go into ahh camera app and it would show the image I set on the screen and when I take the picture.

Not sure I understand the question.
Are you wanting to go to take a picture and it show a fake image? Like, a fake camera app? Or are you wanting to put an image into a picture (kind of like a greenscreen) for someone to show up in front of? Or are you trying to insert an image (like a person) into a picture that isn't really there when you're taking the picture?
Or are you wanting to have your phone wallpaper change when you take a picture?
I want to have it set an image and soda like camera and snap chat think that the image is my camera lens

Don't you have to send the picture on snapchat? Wouldn't you just choose whatever picture from your gallery?
I don't know what "soda like camera" is, but if it's the same thing, then why couldn't you just use a picture from your gallery?
It sounds like you're trying to fake a picture... Something like what they do on chatroulette sometimes.

I believe he is trying to do what they sometimes do on chatroulette by putting an image continuosly instead of the camera input, so for an application like snapchat instead of taking a picture using the camera you constantly see whatever image you choose and can send that
