Is anyone doing ROM development for the new Galaxy S 4G? I can not find any dedicated forums for the 4G. Is it just going to be lumped in with the Vibrant forums? I am waiting to receive my 4G in the mail, but I was curious if the same one click root applications work with the 4G or if someone is going to have to completely reinvent the wheel for it.
Thanks!
There is a section for the galaxy s 4G. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1065
Excellent, thanks! Not sure how I missed that! Over I go.....

not saying they are great
love android forever, but it'll be cool your know : )
let them see how good android devs are
There's certainly no accounting for taste, I guess. I can't see why anyone would want such a UI, but I suppose it would be possible to use such graphics, etc. to an extent, but I guess there'd have to be a compelling reason for someone to do so.

Theres an alternative launcher in the market called Windows Phone Android.
Can anyone tell me how to flash my Samsung Fascinate (Verizon) to either Boost or Metro?

I have a Samsung Fascinate and I have seen videos on sites where they demonstrate it is flashed to boost so dont get discouraged. So far I bought a software download for $15 online which have all the stuff but happens to be for another phone. Oops. Im still working on it and almost there, Ill get back to you in a few days.

Moving to Q&A
Since the Optimus Slide is made by LG, they should publish the source.
Is anyone planning on dropping a Vanilla ROM for this 2.3 phone (Cyanogen-ish)?

Moving to Q&A
I thought I posted it in Sidekick 4g General...
... Yup, I did.
They moved from S3 to S4, when should we see a Note 3?
There is a sticky for other device discussions
Also questions go in Q&A
Thanks

Hi i'm going mad these days trying to fix my Galaxy S3.
I recently changed it's display. There are two problems, the first one is that it continues rebooting randomly and i don't understand why. I tried to change the battery putting another battery from another perfectly working S3. The second problem is about the sound. I can't hear nothing, from both speaker and headphones. I followed the same procedure i followed with the s3: i tried changing the speaker with one from a working s3 but nothing changed.
I thought it was a software related problem so i put various roms like the Cyanogen 10.2 and the Omega but it was useless.
I sincerely don't know what to do, so if anyone can help i would really appreciate it!!

I think it could be a general problem, not really depending on the phone itselft, but that's ok for me!
Thanks!

Your phone has hardware issues, if you've flashed stock firmware and fully wiped it.
Next step would be to change the motherboard, but a new phone might be cheaper.
