I own an x10a from rogers (unlocked) using it with fido
i have not been able to update using the seus nor the pc companion
i finally decided to flash my phone.
i tried using many flashing programs and it doesnt work
last used was 2-1-nordic-dec
my phone is rooted using z4root
when i plug it to flash the software it says loader.sin not found
note: the phone is pluged in update mode.
note: x10a firmware has been copied as asked into the firmware folder in sub directory

OR maybe you should read all the instructions first. All these issues have been discussed many, many times. I think a little thank you for the people that get all this work done should be in order rather than complaining.

Yes I did and it just says that the phone has the newest version and does not give me the option to reflash it.
Give THIS ago instead.

I had same problem. Solved by uninstalling both SEUS and PC Companion then download latest SEUS from SE site. Then I got reflash option.
Thank you XperiaX10iUser, I solved it already with your advise. I actually tried that before I post here the problem but I was in a hurry and didn't realize I was skipping a step. Thanks to the helpful people.
Hey all,
I've decided to root my SK17, and have managed (I beleive) to unlock my bootloader with the s1tool method, and flash my phone successfully. However, I am not at the last hurdle using flashtool to root my phone and I simply get this message:

I managed to solve the issue by starting again and checking each step. All was well, and the problem I was having was because of the Superoneclick program. I installed a earlier version and voila. Now root-tastic!

Try using global generic firmware (flashtool thread, 2nd post I think it is)

Do not panic. You for the time being flash some older ftf to your Mini Pro to make it working.

About Getting ICS to your device. You should wait for an ftf that has been reported as working. Or you can use PC Companion or SUS (even if your SI is not eligible for update. [My signature for more info on that]).

HELP! Having same Problem.
Both of you are using really old version of flashtool.
Use the latest or preferably 0.9.8.0

Version 0.9.10.1 is the culprit
Use this version to flash the kernel.

I see your flashing .562 kernel to root your phone
Why are you doing that when you got such an easy tool to root your phone

At present what you need to do is , flash the .587 kernel of your device, that should bring it back to life and then use the method I linked to root it.

agreed.if connected earlier u will get errors.
Phone is conecting nd disconecting by himself after ft tell me to connect it.. I got tht phone used, nd Usb cable with him is short usb frm Nokia, u knw, the gray colour short cable.. Maybe thts main mistake? Version of ft is 0.9.11.0....
I just got this error when flashing sola phone, but I changed the cable, I used the original usb cable then problem gone.

i m sorry i forgot to reply... i ve been usin kit kat few months on my xperia mini pro.. also i m usin lg l7 II.. but for lg things are not so nice..
