I have the Black Dual PK 3.0 ROM on my 7500. Like it. But when trying to use bluetooth, a dialog displays "There is no Bluetooth hardware installed on this device." Well, I had bluetooth before, though I haven't tried BT since installing the new ROM. Of course, the BT problem may have nothing to do with the new ROM. I've searched this forum but didn't see anyone else report this. Any help would be appreciated.
Solved
I searched beyond this forum (I guess I need to broaden my horizons) and found posts suggesting I delete all existing pairings and soft reset. That worked.
I post this question on few ROM threads, and hoped, that with new ROM version it will dissappear. But, neither with PROven 3.2 neiter with ROMeOS 1.95.3, it still persist.
Sometimes - many times a day - hardware button get mixed. For example "phone up" turns into left, od stop working etc.
It is ROM independent and I'm affraid, it is hardware problem to the servise...
Has anyone similar problem?
No one has similar problem, so it is probably hardware problem. So it needs TP to send to service...
[Q] connecting my desire via usb to archos 101 = "ready to remove external disk"
Hi,
when connecting my desire via usb to archos 101 (to read my phone's SD card) I get immediatly the "ready to remove external disk" message.
Even when I activate USB storage on my desire, nothing changes
Only thing that happens is that my archos charges my desire
It would be great to transfer data though, anyone any ideas?
Thx
B
I had this problem too, it doesnt just dont work by your monile phone
Unfortunality, the archos cant recognize your phone...
you can try urukdroid, it has many improvements about the usb port
you had this problem too? do you mean instaling urukdroid solved the problem for you?
thx

I still have^^ with a bunch of usb devices, but i think this bug isnt something about your phone
Installing Urukdroid could solve your problem, because in UD we have a 500mA kernel
(Energy that the usb port is getting^^ in normal archos android this is 100mA)

It may help, it may not. For me, it's not a problem with USB power, it's the partition system or mounting script. I have Urukdroid on my 101, and some client's EVOs, Fascinates, and others will mount correctly. My HD2 will not work with some versions of CM7, and will with others. Most Desires do not work, but some have. I've never bothered to really research the problem though, as there are a ton of other ways for me to do whatever transferring needs done. For APKs I use bluetooth, bigger files I do either over the network, or by swapping SD cards.
P.S. Lenn, the 100mA limit is only on the A70. Our 101s put out 4-500mA with stock firmware because they have a full host port.
thank you guys for the feedback... I use bluetooth also which works fine but I was just wondering if it was just me...
I have the same issue with an external card reader which is really a pain because that was my planned workaround for the fact that I can't see my pictures on my camera (see thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1122799)
For this reason I am thinking of installing urukdroid 1.0 because this still uses an older version firmware I believe
Also this problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1123259 seems related to the newest firmware
cheers

Yes, I did experience the battery not showing 100%, but the battery reporting has always been inaccurate. I think it was calculating the percentage wrong, because I didn't experience any faster discharge times, as others in that thread say.
The external card reader is slightly surprising though. If it uses a generic MSC (Mass Storage Class) driver, it should work. Does it/has it ever needed drivers installed on Windows to show up? If they use a generic driver, but change the ID to be proprietary, it can cause issues with Android, and even Linux.
Uruk is a blend of old and new firmware, and definitely doesn't have the charging issue. I think it's worth installing, but I run an IT company, so I actually enjoy things like that.
The install is pretty easy these days, at least compared to a few months ago, so I'd give it a shot.

Probably unnecessary. If Windows shows it as a generic Mass Storage Device, I'd expect it to work. If you have the time, maybe use logcat to watch the logs, and post em here. Maybe we'll find a descriptive error that we can work from. I'm a bit busy, but I'll try to experiment at some point. There is a possibility it draws too much amperage, but I doubt it. Logcat should show a overcharge message if that's the case.
Why not connect via WiFi???

Maybe same problem with this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42461874&postcount=1342
I also have the same problem to connect my gtab to PC for restocking, its not recognized at all. So I though the problem is because of the new rom I used, I have no idea but uninstal the usb driver and clean the registry as well. Than instal the driver again-restart (windows) and connect my Gtab to PC done. It Works again. :good:
Its my first post, so I hope its usefull for everyone.
Greeting from Jakarta.
Thanks, the problem solved after moving from stock ROM to custom ROM.
Currently, I'm using [ROM][JB][JZO54K] CyanogenMod 10 by ivendor - Release 2.5 - Kernel 3.0.x and it's working great
Hi
I have a allwinner A10 tablet, that us a "personality" problem!
primux.es/producto.aspx?id=194
When I'm using the tablet it freezes or reboots after some time of use.
I tried to install other ROMs (Eken, Woxter, MOMO11, Bmorn 99) and the problem is always the same. With all the ROMs, when I make a couple of movementes (left or right, up or down), the that freezes or makes a reset for itself.
Anyone us an idea, of what coul it be? Software problem or hardware problem?
Could it be the accelerometer? Can I replace or repair it? I've recalibrated using the menu.
Can I complete disable the accelerometer , for test?
Should I throw it in the garbage?...
Thank you very much.
