Hi
Is it possible to change IMEI on Xperia X10? I really need it.
Yes, you have to change your main-/motherboard
But why do you need it?

Hello and welcome to the forum....
Root is where you get access to all file system on the phone and you can use apps that needs that like setcpu there you can control the cpu
Debranding is when you buy a phone from o2 there is apps from the provider on the phone and with debranding you will get a genetic firmware on the phone from sony ericsson without all the provider software
Oh so root is just to get to the core of the phone? Or is it something like iphone jailbreak?
For debranding why would people dont want the provider software? It cant be deleted?

Rooting
Sorry to open this topic up again, but I want to root and debrand my phone.
Is there a specific order I should do it in? Or will rooting allow me to debrand?
I think Custom ROMs are already debranded, but I'm not sure. For Rooting, use a program called SuperOneClick, google it and you'll easily find it.
I unlocked my phone (well, my mum's ) and it works perfectly. Everything does. It received SMS, calls, and so can the mobile send calls or messages. During the whole process the IMEI was OK (the same before and after) BUT! after restarting the mobile it switched to 0000000000 but it works. So, is it better to ignore it?
Thank you, friends!
Your IMEI is gone . That means you will have no way of finding your phone if it gets stolen.
Ace-ing all tests.

Hi, can someone please tell which box should I buy now to change/repair IMEI number for S3 I9300? As I have read Z3X doesn't have full support at the moment, so which one then? Octopus, SPT?
P.S. I'm not asking for the information on how to do it, I'm only asking for advice on boxes. I know that its illegal in some countries but its not legal in my county
Thank You
anyone please? I'm just asking for a box advice, just tell me please which box is supported by S3 i9300

LOVVL we cannot understand your post .
Are you asking should you repair it that's your choice .to make
If you are saying is it worth a repair or have you done more damage only a service centre can say .

Have you tried going into mobile networks settings and ensure your APN (Access Point Names) are set correctly? In rare cases, these may have been resetted during the full wipe and flash.
If you dont know what are your carrier's APN settings, try googling for them.
