Yesterday, I've installed lcddensity on m defy and set it to 220, works fine, but the dialer doesn't work anymore..
I tried other dialers, but I dont like none of them..
And I really like the stock dialer..
There is a possibility to fx this? Or a mod dialer that works with lcddensity

Yes getting the same problem .... and need some advice !!!
I can't find a answer for that..
Can I somehow mod the stock dialer to get this working?
Use another Dialer such as "Dialer One"
For me, Dialer One works fine with 210dpi
I know that other dialers, loke dialer one, works fine with other resolutions, but I really like the stock dialer and I don't wanna change..
I thought that someone already found an answer for this problem..

I cant get it to work eithier , ive followed all install steps and tried wolf's fix on his rom post but cant find the asec file he says to delete

lol...no, they only work with sony ericsson launcher
but the photo widget isnt installing on wolf's rom, and i really want to use that photo widget

can't any dev make this work?? it used to work now it doesn't, maybe we can use the one out of the retail arc dump, cause the launcher on wolfbreak's rom is from the retail dump, and the photo widget is from the old dump, maybe if we can get the photo widget from the retail dump to match the launcher we can make it work. help???

after installation of Swiftdroid 2.0 4M, the dialer application does not have T9 support so the calling is bit harder, i tried to install glass dialer i found here, installed it with recovery (the newest clockwork that came with the installation), it says its successful but when i restart i have the old dialer. Is this glass dialer not compatible with swiftdroid or there is problem with the clockwork? or any suggestion for good T9 dialer?

Id like to have the dialer that was in Gt540 2.1 version if anyone could share it here ill be grateful, or if someone can tell me how to install the glass dialer, coz more of those custom applications are ether too colorful or slow, or just add t9 support to the one that is integrated in cm7 swiftdroid 2.0
I do too like 2.1 dialer and contacts search box, im testing quite of few , also i found a tutorial that explains how to modify themes and apps. I'll come up with something usefull i feel like working on that today.

I want to know is there have a chance to port HTC t9/k9 dialer search option into SGSII dialer.
HTC dialer have great search like when u search Mr Mike Scofield.
u need tap only 676459 and it will show Mr Mike Scofield.
In SGSII dialer, it wont show Mr Mike if u type 676459. because the contact(Mr Mike) have a space.

I'm looking for SE stock apps to use them as replacement for SMS/dialer/contact, because I don't like the ones built in CM6/7. So, is there anyone who have managed to use them with CM7 ?

Can't help you on the stock progs, but, take a look at Go SMS Pro and TouchPal Dialer. I found them way better than both CM and stock dialers/sms

Indeed, Touchpad dialer is fine, even if the fonts are very small :-/
Go Sms seems good too, not totally at my taste, because again of the fonts' size, but it would do the job

Well.. small screen - small fonts
Have you figured what to do with with the in-call screen? When I use in-call dialpad (to browse throught voice menus) the bottom rows (7890) are hidden ...
I use external keyboard for that..
Any ideas?

im playing with cm7
its awesome - bit faster than kj2
but i loved the functionally of the phone app in touchwiz
slide the contact to call or message , search bar on top instead of having to click through options etc
is there a way to get the phone apk .. i heard it relies on the TW framework
if so
then is there another phone apk i can use ?

The TW dialer will not work with CM. Look for dialer's in the Market instead. There are several choices.
E.g. Touchpal or Dialer One.
