I tried to flash blackbar and works up to an hour, not to see :-(. and I miss that little power button is unable to reboot and reboot into recovery. even restore a backup of titanium applications and see how then will work. yet satisfied, and praise your good work on this rom
In future i'll not change theme and keyboard because these are original and stable! All porting having some problems... i think that theme for lol 1.4 (only 1.4) works on nessy. I hope that you like this rom. It's very fast but i must remove adw because it's so slow with zeam (very fast)
LOL Theme 1.4 works but blackbar not see the clock. ADW not use otherwise, I prefer the GO Launcher EX czech. so far it seems fast rom. For me the crucial speed and battery life

the theme does not work because it does not change the file "android-policy.jar" I think... maybe..!
you must flash theme only for froyo 2.2.2!!!

Because I like his kernel and I have never had problems. Anyway, if you want to use sippolo kernel, you can!

software version: v10c - oct-19-2010
i rooted the phone without hitches using z4root. i just want a better kernel as not brave enough for the custom ROMs.

I flashed der_caveman fix signed-kernelv1.1.It made my gaming experience much better..I flashed mik_os too but sippolo's one was better..

is there any kernel which helps with battery life. I don't necessarily want a custom rom. any kernel which helps with battery life I would be interested. my rooted stock v.10c is running out of juice rather quickly and I am not yet using heavily. I am not too much into gaming or multimedia. 3g has to be on; as in my area 2g signal is worse than 3g.... go figure.

Hmm what can i tell about battery I noticed loss of 3% over night and u can choose between launcher(stock,touchwiz,gingerbread)

No, alzbac, yours ROM's are great. I've tryed a lot of customs ROMs (on Smartbench 2011, Quadrant, Linpak, etc) and I can say that, yours ROMs, especially the last one is at the same range with Ewjet and even some Wolfbreak's ROMs. Your Roms are stable, performant, looks friendly, I like the circle battery mod.. etc. Continue, you are on the right way. Don't discourage, it's a matter of time untill you'll be fully recognized.

alright just downloaded, seems everything working fine. i like he option of different launchers and with the stock launcher it really looks good. hope it will settle doen and will be awesome.. will report any bug but so far so good.. really nice rom will use it as a daily rom.

When z released cyanogenmod i edited it and tryed it.I like cyanogenmod 7 but still has got bugs.Today I tested newest release but it wasn't so great.When the stable version will be released I will edit it and make a better.
Got my PC back.Started with work on CM7.I'm using z's cm7 as base.
Credits go to Amin, ThJap and the FXP team.
This rom is based FXP cm7 with all Amin tweaks profided by ThJap. Build.prop is tweaked with 3g turbocharger.
Included mega bass etc scripts for perfect sound bass on headset ore box.
Flash this rom with the latest cwm and use this kernel.

Sorry but if you want to flash this then you loose xrecovery.
You can use it and install xrec with old flashtool and then this kernel

Why you want a cm7 camera if you have stock with zoom? Look in theme's and apps. There on page 4 i think you have Z cm7 camera for stock based roms.
Barepe, camcorder playback is not so smooth. I tested just in dark room. Maby thats the reason.

Yes....i know. But this is very old relase and some users reported very high battery drain and some more problems.
I like JasonStein latest non OC kernel, but WITH OC option.

I don't know, I'm not into AOSP stuff for now.
BTW its not the same ROM with Themed UI, its a whole different system.

Even though its a good kernel, still doesn't beats franco.kernel smoothness, in fact i've never been able to achieve franco level smoothness with any other kernel except franco itself...
With franco i get "iphone" smoothness level on contacts and settings menues, and many apps, statusbar etc..

I was suggested to use ta-gb 1.1 + hotfix kernel (as bug-free and for good battery life) but I cannot find this specific version of the kernel. Could someone give me a link or upload it please so that I could give it a try?
Between the kernel I was suggested to use and the latest, which one do you think is better in terms of battery life and less bugs? And what is the difference between the two latest releases (10/4/2012 and 18/4/2012 <-What is this kernel)?

The 18/04 version has battery fixes, but also included genlock and New GPU drivers which come from 3.0 kernel.... and BTW, i'm rebasing on tagb, so don't worry, i will fix all that bug

I think, t.a gb 1.1+hotfix is based on franco's touch drivers. I have used almost all kernels so far and I think at present Roq XIII with t.a touch drivers are the best in terms of smoothness, stability and battery. Use the conservative at 480/600. Even the t.a 1.1+hotfix is superbly smooth and has superb battery. But it has a bug that when after using gps the battery drains even if the gps is turned off. Franco kernel has multiple issues 1) Frequent reboots during calls 2) Cameranot working after first use...and many other issues.
Roq xIII with t.a touchfix is as smooth as the iphone. Only thing is you have to tweak some settings on the cynogen power menu, spareparts+ and blade buddy I also moved the default launcher (Go Launcher) to my /system/apps to have the smoothness I get now. Smoothnesss cannot come just by installing the kernel. You have to tweak settings...
pradipsoman could you please verify if the kernel that you uploaded here is the 1.1 you are suggesting? The filename is v1.2 but I have to ask because it could just be a typo. What is your experience on the current version of thunder-vn? I think you can now use Thundervn Latest Release from TA Have tested it and now it does not have the wifi bug (only bug that t.a 1.1+hotfix had). It is smooth as butter and has excellent battery. Lets experiment further...
I'm testing it too. I'm satisfied by the smoothness too but how did you make a conclusion that soon about the battery life and the lack of gps bug?

On the latest 1.02 version is the above bug considered to be present? I get 7MB/s write and 15MB/s read speeds. If these are slow, what speed would be normal?

I'm testing it too. I'm satisfied by the smoothness too but how did you make a conclusion that soon about the battery life and the lack of gps bug?
On the latest 1.02 version is the above bug considered to be present? I get 7MB/s write and 15MB/s read speeds. If these are slow, what speed would be normal?

No, it's fixed, i can copy a file to my sdcard with 4.5MB/s .. if i forgot to delete it, sorry and thanks for reminding me!
