[Q] [FFC] Atriarc.V1 - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was just wondering if anyone had tested out there FFC on Atriarc V.1 yet and if so was the banding issue better or worse than being on a 2.2 rom.

CM7 Camera Quality?

Anyone notice that the CM7 camera on the vibrant is kinda grainy looking and not as good quality as the stock camera?
No, not really. It seems just as accurate and sharp as the samsung camera app.

yea my pics arent as clear
I know what you mean....I know the Samsung Camera is good especially Samsung manufacturing cameras themselves.
I love how the videocam at night doesn't start lagging and slowing like most phone cameras

sorry but i have to disagree on that one.
just install hdr camera+ or fxcamera problem solved
CM6 had great camera quality and feature set. does anyone know if/when CM7 will get those? i thought the recent kernel release would help in that aspect.

[Q] Skype/Gtalk video calling issues in ICS Passion 8.0

Hello,
I have just installed neobuddy's ICS Passion ver 8. Amazing rom and great work by the dev team and google and eveything works fine for me but only have one issue.
Video calling via gtalk/skype always force closes. This is very important for me and do not want to revert back to GB ROM just for this issue.
If someone can confirm if they have the same issue as well or suggest any workaround to get past this issue will be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Bumping... anybody can confirm if video calling is working on gtalk/skype on the neobuddy's ICS ver 8 ROM?
I have the same issue, it always fcs, do you have ffc? I don't have one maybe it's because,
I am also waiting for my ffc to arrive,
tested Skype. works fine, no FFC so it uses the back cam. can't test gtalk no one online atm.
As your the first person i have heard mention this i really have no advice on a fix for you :/
Thanks for the feedback guys. Now I am even more confused... as it works for some. I don't have a ffc.... could that be a reason? Boy stuff do you have a ffc installed? Can anyone else confirm/suggest some solutions?

What ROM? Samsung Vibrant

Hi everyone. Quick question. What ROm is the most stable for now for Samsung Vibrant. Thank you!
Most stable? Probably bionix 1.3.1 or CM7(911 issues with cm though.)
Ics roms are quite stable for me, minor bugs here and there.

Updated CM7/9 kangs have fixed 911.
So are they going to start officially supporting the vibrant now that 911 issues has been resolved?

That's a hard question to answer at this point in time. Almost every rom is stable for the Vibrant. The question is, what are you looking for in a rom?
Are you looking for customization? Then you'll want to look into roms like Miui. Do you want great battery life? Then you'll want to look into roms like Deranged 9 or Bionix. Are you that kind of person who "has to have the latest and greatest"? Then you may want to check out roms like Passion. There are hundreds of roms to choose from! If you can narrow down your preferences then it will be very easy to point you in the direction of roms you'll like...
I vote bionix great battery

Out of the ICS ROMs, which has the best battery life and has working 911? I don't care about GPS.
Bionix

My vote would be passion if you don't mind the mute and unmute bug

[Q] XXLPB ICS ROM (codeworks) presents touch lag?

Did anyone else know of this?
i am new to the i9100 (coming from G2x ICS build), i have noticed that the interface does not follow my fingers as closely as in the LG (or other phones).
Is this a known issue?
Thanks a million

Thanks. Since this is my first ICS rom, I have to check on that rom you mentioned. I am a noob. Bought this i9100 with this ROM already on it.
struggling with all the search results
Although I can't attest to it, I did see a few people complaining about touch lag in both XXLPB and XXLPH. They're both leaks after all, and not official yet. You'll want to wait for a while till kernel sources or an official ICS ROM comes out.
CheckROM will be flawless due to it being based on a Gingerbread ROM, and any other GB ROMs for that matter (I used CheckROM and its pretty responsive). If you want, you can switch to them temporarily until a better ICS alternative comes, or stay there and wait for a better one.
