Yike, $21.95 + shipping for such a simple device?

Min link provides prity much worldwide shiping for 3$. Would say very cheap.
Recived the item; tested and works great. Can run iGO in car with no problem or note that Fler uses more power then it charges.
It indeed is oiginal HTC (made in China)
BTW:
how u know things r original..?... If they r made in China LOL
The same eBay listing, but in English: GENUINE HTC FLYER CAR CHARGER CC C500
Just ordered one. Exactly what I needed! Thanks guys!
It just bugs me to pay $15 when 5 volt versions of this go for 2 bucks. It's just a different just as cheap voltage regulator. I'd be perfectly happy with a micro USB connector although the micro MHL unique to HTC connector is a plus.

Thank you for the tip :good: , was trying to figure out how to deal with the power problem during navigation.
Ordered one straight away.
And even cheaper one:

Does anyone know we're to get a htc scribe
Amazon or eBay.
Amazon has one for $18 (black on, for the View?).
Buy.com is currently selling them for 26.99: http://m.buy.com/product/details/225623551

If anyone is still looking for scribe pens. Buy.com is still selling the silver ones for the price above, but also check eBay. The black ones are going as low as $20 there. Just picked another one up as the tip on mine broke, after I dropped it for the upteenth time, heh...

Holy crap, now buy.com has them for 17.99. Guess not enough buyers... Heh I already got 2, had ordered a black one while back as a backup.

Does anyone know if they ship to UK?
I tried checking a few places and haven't seen anything. I'd prefer a bumper case so I can preserve the beauty of the back of the phone. What are our chances of getting some?

Here is one; It's really expensive for what it is. Hopefully some cheaper ones will pop up on amazon soon.
Yea, that's unnecessarily expensive. Do these cases cover the LED light on the power button?

Bumper case with a glass-back phone..
Why not just get one with a handle across the top, they you could actually use it as a curling rock.
I'm totally with you on the bumper case. Want want WANT. I've also seen some cases that are silicone with a clear plastic backing... might do in a pinch. Still much prefer a bumper (that's not $35... yeesh).
I have Belkin Bumper and I'm happy with it.. The only Con I have is the Headphone Jack/Port.. I have the Cassette Adapter in my car and it does not fit as the hole on the top is small. For that reason I might want to sell this case. If I can and get a new simple one.

Yes they cover the LED. (As its 2 layer case)
I hate the bumper case. So ugly and bulky. You can remove the rubber part from the outer shell and that's the size I wish it was. But you can't use it that way since it is loose and looks unfinished.
Sent from my LG-E970 using Tapatalk 2
I agree that the bumper is too expensive for what it is. I spent $35 on a bumper I used for 3 days, and stopped because it was much bulkier than it needed to be and ugly to boot. My LG's naked now and I feel fine.

I found this bumper for the E971 on a Canadian retailer's website. Seems like the E971 and the At&t E970 are the same size so it should fit:
gocellular.ca/?item=lg3005 (new member so wont let me post direct link)
Part number for this is CCH180AGCABK and seems to be manufactured directly by LG. Looks much slimmer than the Belkin version.
According to Rogers website, it's the same size as the 973, not 970

Yep your right wasn't paying close enough attention, site I was using to compare sizes showed the E970 at 5.15 x 2.82 x 0.33 (131 x 72 x 8 mm) and the E971 at 131.9 x 68.9 x 8.5 mm (5.15 X 2.82. X 0.33). I looked at it in inches got excited and then failed to see that it is actually a different size.
lady at puremobile.com said this was for the AT&T version and would not fit the Sprint version. I ordered it via Amazon...we'll see.
LG Mobile CCH180AGCABK Bumper Optimus G Black

edit: just got the case...it does not fit. it's just a smidgen too narrow for the phone.
this is my main gripe with LG at the moment...to sell a device under one name yet with multiple sizes. that was stoopid.

Keep us posted guys. The Belkin bumper from AT&T is decent but the ports are too small and you can't plug in the usb cable at the bottom to charge it.

After looking at the picture it says 13.0 MP right next to the camera. If that's on the case, and not just Photoshop, then it most likely not for our phones.

I'm more concerned that it says LG on the back instead of the AT&T symbol.

Well I dropped my phone 2 feet out the car door and the glass smashed. Ugh! Seems that the phone is pretty new so the only option I can find to get it fixed is to send it back to HTC.
Anyone got any other suggestions? Links? Cause I'm coming up dry and getting it done is $$$.
Either you can repair yourself, send it into HTC to get it repaired or you can send it to a phone repair place.

True.
HTC wants Min $199 and 4 - 6 weeks to repair the glass.
I can't seem to find the parts or a DIY article for the phone.
So far no luck talking to Phone Repair. They don't have the parts. Going to keep looking but if you know of a place or two please let me know.
In theory wouldn't the glass panel from an HTC One X (original) work? They are the exact same size and form factor. Don't know about the LCD (same specs but not sure about connectors inside) but the glass panel should work.
That would be good news for me but I have not found that to be true or false yet.

Pretty sure there was another thread that confirm this the displays are identical as long as the connectors are the same it should work I don't see why not

ok. that is GREAT! HAPPY news. I was not interested in pay $199 bucks for new glass :/
I recently broke mine as well. Since my LCD seems fine should i just replace the touchscreen glass digitizer?
Yep

Agreed. I so don't want to DIY this one.

Is there any specific LCD I should get? I see some on eBay for cheap but they are unbranded. Are they the same quality?
Sent from my HTC One X+ using xda app-developers app
I would go with an actual repair site. Better quality. Plus you can contact them if you run into any trouble

I know from the one xl forums it's super hard to seperate the LCD and digitizer..a lot of people over there ended up buying both together...

Has anyone tried any of these slim extended batteries? Or know someone that has of so please report in. .

Hmmm... Kinda curious about the 4570mAh w/NFC. I hope it's not some generic made in china crap tho. I'm not willing to drop any money to find out.
Chances are, if it's not a name brand extended battery, it is not worth it.

Hey guys I used the AceSoft brand off of EBay on my Note 2 and had zero problems with it and with heavy use I would get close to 20 hours. They are like $17. I just ordered one for my Note 3. http://www.ebay.com/itm/3600mAh-Ext..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item27da095d47
