I am currently running Bionix V 1.3.1 with an Overstock kernal. I made the mistake of installing the Captivate camera mod (without reading the whole thread thoroughly... lesson learned!) and now my camcorder force closes when I try to record anything.
I have searched the forum and for the most part have come up empty. Will re-flashing the Bionix ROM fix this? Is it safe to just re-flash the same ROM over itself? I have backed everything up using TB. Thanks in advance for any advice!
Yes you will be fine.
You might be ok with just pulling the camera from the Bionix Rom and pushing it to your phone.

Greetings! Just a quick question. I recently flashed bionix v 1.3.1 (just amazing).
I then had to take it to thee extreme and flashed destroyer of worlds kernel on it.( again amazing) my question is this. I notices after flashing the kernel my version changed from bionix
To nero w/destroyer of worlds. Soon is this still bionix? Or did the kernel flash nero b4 over
Bionix? Also if I wanted to try the dragon kernel out, can I flash over the down kernel? Or
Should I reflash thee original bionix back and then proceed to flash dragon as I did with
dow? Sorry im just confused why my build went from bionix to nero with a kernal and not a
Rom. Love it either way.
Hi guys. I have a Vibrant with Axura 2.3.1 currently installed and I want to go to Trigger 2.8.1. Are the Axura and Trigger voodoo kernels compatible where I can just flash over Axura without disabling voodoo first or should I be Odin-ing back to stock first and then flash Trigger.

My understanding is that if you are going from one to another you do not have to disable it.

Thus is covered in the noob guide. If going from voodoo to another voodoo enabled rom, you are good. Check out the install instructions to try and avoid any bugs. I just updated the noob guide.
Good evening all. I am wanting to go from Dark Revenge (Non-Voodoo) to Kaos V7. Anything I need to know before hand? I tried to sift through he Kaos thread for clues but couldn't find anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
I cant imagine why you would be on nonvoodoo, but for kaos v7 you must be on a voodoo kernel prior to flashing. However, with Jt's CM7 you do not need a voodoo kernel.
I've been thinking about going to MIUI but I don't know which one to choose. There seems to be a couple versions on here.
Can they be flashed right over each other without having to odin back to stock?
Vibrant
Rom: Project-V
Kernel: Bali X 1.2
Love it.
Yes they can you might have to format data if there are problems ofc.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Yes,I flashed without wipes, and nothing wrong happened to me.
Worked fine for me everytime I flashed different versions
because of the slight variations they do recommend you format System/Cashe, clear Dalvik then flash. (you keep apps and account info this way) fix permissions afterwards.
Oh ok I see and is MIUI set up for over the air updates?
Im just looking for something more out of my phone and this seems the way to go.
I've been on ginger clone, bionix 1.3.1, and now project v. Used kernels like tigers blood, dragon, DoW, super_dragon modz, bali, and immortality. I think im ready for 2.3.4 and MIUI seems to be pretty customizable. I love that.
Vibrant
Rom: Project-V

I just went back to froyo trigger, and it has the tw mms*fugly*. does anyone still have AOSP mms.zip i can flash over this?
