To continue the testing thread started some time ago, here is an updated table with new battery (Deji) included. Just to repeat the testing conditions:
background data transmission on, google account sync on, 3G on, GPS on, phone idle between 10:00 and 9:00, after that time normal use - means several calls, some mp3 listening (half an hour max), some wi-fi usage and browsing.
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback !
So the Deji is the best battery...
I bought this one some weeks ago but not yet received, so the only bad point for this battery is the time to get it ^^' !
where can i buy the deji battery online?

www.dinodirect.com As they send it from China, and not HK, it takes centuries to arrive. Mine took 2 months, but then I am in Brazil and you are in Malaysia, much close to China.

You are awesome!!!! Thank you from all my heart. You indeed did a great job bro, I was so close to order the jin dian but than I run through this post. Now, I believe more than ever that it's very important for us to do some good research instead of just rushing and buying things! Also, keep in mind since you just bought the Deji battery this means it will even get better with time.
PS: I just ordered Deji battery
Update: I just found this 2000mah battery for X1,X2,X10 owners who may be interested in these well done Deji batteries :

It depends on in which country do you live. I am from Brazil, so things from China take centuries to arrive here.
Anyhow, I don´t own X10 mini pro anymore - a phone is a working tool not a toy for me, and less than one day on one charge is something I can´t live with. Bought a Blackberry.
I bought the Deji battery. Been testing it for a week now. Doesn't seem to last any longer. Still, it was cheap. I have a spare battery now.
so may you say that i'ts better with the deji ?

My S2 is due from Expansys next week (hopefully )
I'm using all this unwanted time to research what I'm going to do when it arrives. I see lots of posts here talking about battery issues that only seemed to surface after an upgrade to KE1 or KE2.
So, will I leave it alone and wait for KE<some number bigger than 2>? If all the reviews I've read used KE0 (is that the name of the one from the factory?), then it looks like that's the one to stick with for the moment. While I'm on the subject, I don't think I've ever witnessed such positivity for any smartphone ever; hopefully it's not all hype.
All and any advice welcome. But please be gentle - I'm coming from WM6

I heard about you people but I though you were extinct years ago.
Best advice is to forget what you know about smartphones based on your experience with WM. Just explore and figure things out for yourself about the device because once you figure it out you'll never forget it. Explore the market for apps, unlike WM the app market for Android is actually functional and has a wide variety of apps and most are free.

Ok, so most people say upgrade to KE1 (KE2 pulled) when take the phone out of the box.
So it was deffo only KE2 that had problems then - KE1 won't start eating my battery?
And don't knock WM6! I'm writing this on a 4-year old TYTN II ;-)

Me too ... my old HTC Touch HD have served me well through 4 years, good battery, accurate GPS and several drops to the floor ... haven't been able to kill it yet
But I will get my SGS2 tomorrow and know for sure that I will fall in love instantly
The plan
Thanks for all the replies - some good advice here.
I think I'll leave the phone as is for a while and familiarise myself with it and Android before I start fiddling.
In a former life a long, long time ago, I used to be able to spell "UNIX". I suppose this means I won't be able to resist messing about with rooting, new firmware, hacks, etc. Maybe I should stick to my TYTN II ?
What kind of onscreen uptime is everyone getting? not standby mixed with usage, just display on uptime ?
Right now I'm at 67% after about three and one-half hours. I will stay on and post a screenshot as I approach 0%. Wifi always on... in the meantime, my advice is: go out and buy the sgs2. It's freakin phenomenal.

Get the HTC One X!
Wait for the Galaxy S III, it's going to completely rape everything. If you can, just buy a cheap off-contract S2 on craigslist.
here ya go
This shows 100%-2% with screen a hair under 50% brightness. Keep in mind, my (stock) firmware has known battery issues. I'll be much better off after root and a couple of tweaks. If you don't have yours yet, get it now! Or, at least, take your phone and hold it in one hand and hold a sgs2 in the other. The screen blows you away and the performance will amaze, even on a carrier-crippled unit. You'll buy the sgs2, guaranteed. And then, you can mod the thing however you want.
If you wait for sgs3, you might as well wait for jelly bean, or Klondike bar or lemon merange pie, IMHO. HTC? Huh?

I average about 4-4.5 hours of screen on time throughout the day (approx 16 hrs). I'm happy with it, some people have gotten quite a bit more with some more tweaking.
Plus we have great dev support! But yes battery is great especially on the custom Roms... Buy it all really depends if you prefer to keep your data on

btw, if the phone gets here with UCKK6, i plan to downgrade to 2.3.4, what rom would you guys recommend that is stock and has good battery life?
and yah i have alot of reading to do, aren't new phones fun
UnNamed 1.3.2 is probably the best 2.3.4 at the moment.
actually, one important question, if i downgrade to 2.3.4 using zedomax method would that effect flash counter? or should i just update to UCKH7-CL503881 <- assuming thats the latest stock att rom? Im trying to avoid UCKK6 battery drain if the phone come with that firmware.

1 or 2 minutes that can change your life.....
Nah but it is also 1200 mAh on Americas region.
if we actually calculate that missing 40mAh from our batteries,,, it is actually more than 2 minutes! no offense sir...
lets assume that the battery would power the unit for a full 24 hours,
40mAh is about 0.033% of 1200mAh.
if we would compute thru ratio and proportion,
40mAh is equal to 0.8 of an hour which translates to almost 48 minutes...
48 minutes is a long time,,,
and also once the battery degrades, then this would mean that on our phones, we would have lost already a big chunk compared to those who have the 1200mAh originally,
1246 — 4942.1 11W33
1200mAh 4.5Wh

Opinions / problems ?
Hey "tovarasi" :good:
Can you share your insight after using this phone for a while ? I was thinking to buy one. Any problems so far? Did you root and flash your device?
Is it easy to get back on stock?
I currently have HTC one Mini and after flashing a few roms I started having some call problems ...I've sent it to Vodafone, maybe they will be able to stock it back.
Anyway, how's the battery life ?
Despite of its bloatware, the LG G2 runs amazingly smooth and you can end up with around 5 to 6 hours screen on after 24 to 36 hours of usage
Romanian forums provides some confusion regarding its quality due to the fact that, you know, plenty of online markets sells phones as second hand, refurbished, returned and I'm afraid that some of them have had lots of previous owners, the policy is simple as stupid, use it and return it back if not satisfied... Crap
So, be careful from where you buy and a warranty should be provided as well
Good luck and thanks for visiting our thread

Thanks for the reply. I've read something about overheating battery/device and this is causing some flickering on the display. Have you experienced any of this ?
CEL is selling this for 1449 Ron http://www.cel.ro/telefoane-mobile/telefon-mobil-lg-g2-16gb-black-l/ seem to be a good price.
I would expect another 3-4 months, maybe the price drops but afraid I won't find it in stores. Hate how they are pushing bigger and bigger screens! I like it for the 3.000 battery and has a better chipset than HTC One at the same height and weight
No, never happened and here where I live it is quite hot, the phone battery running at 35 and cpu 50 all the time
But I've heard people having issues, mostly those second/third/fourth hand and those manufactured last year
Mine is from January, absolutely no problems and I flash roms almost every day
You can expect for the price to drop as from November especially when more devices will be out, nexus 6 that I'm waiting for and others, so may be cheaper but atm the price is decent and correct
The way LG made this 5.2 screen is amazing, the phone is well balanced and handy, I use it with the same feel as Nexus 4 that is 4.7 inches

First of all, NEVER let your phone reach less than 15% of battery and never let it charge overnight.
Li-Ion batteries have the longest life when charged between 30% to 80%.
Second, please delete this ethnic forum, it has no place on XDA.

First, you can't install a custom ROM without rooting
Because, to install a custom rom you need a custom recovery which can be installed only if you have root access
To root use ioroot25 if you have kk ROM and then install autorec which will gave you recovery, then, the fun begins
For remote control I think you need to check the company which produces Genius, if is not there then...

I think genius is genius... Isn't in the list

Nopes...there is difference in battery size..g3 battery wont fit in g4 cradle.
Sweeeeeeeeeet!
Since upgrading to the G5, I just flashed a MM rom to the G3, and gave it to the wife.
Kept thinking while getting the G3 ready for the wife "if only LG would put the batteries on sale, then it would be like she was getting a brand new phone".
And here we are!
Weird how things work out sometimes.
Says 5-7 day shipping. Will report when it arrives!
MUCHO thanks to OP for letting everyone know about this great deal. Anytime this 30-something nursing student can save a few $$, it goes a long way.

They just announced in the news that lithium prices are going to double. This might be your last chance to get a cheap battery.
But, is this is only for the USians??
I don't think it would ship to my (!#//%) country...

Even I am struggling with the duplicate battery I bought from nearby store after my original battery started betraying me every now and then...
I checked the terms and conditions, it is for USA only....and the LG website for my country doesn't have G3 battery listed with them.

You can also find the original battery around Amazon (I checked for United Kingdom). However try to find in the country most close to yours, since for example Amazon UK doesn't ship batteries.

I already got Original battery from AliExpress. Though the delivery took around 20 days(from Netherlands to India), but considering the positive feedbacks for the battery I peacefully waited that long.

How does it perform?
Also what is your screen on time if you don't mind me asking.
May pick up an extra battery since they're running cheap

I just opened the product page from my order history, but unfortunately the battery is not available with the seller.
I couldn't find the direct link to the product but you can search for the seller and see if the battery is available in coming days...

As per Gsam battery monitor, my average SOT is 4h13m.
Need battery
Can anybody order it for me and ship to my place ( India ).
I can pay accordingly.
Help is extremely appreciated.
why do removable batteries die so often? internal batteries seem to be more reliable and last longer..
