I'm using 15 Mar Energy Rom Cookie 2.0.
My problem is: RAM SIZE = 448mb and NOT 576mb...
I'm using RADIO 2.15.50.14 of Ship rom.
Somebody know how i get full memory (576) on Energy Rom?
Don't mistake total useable ram with total hardware ram.
576 total minus 128 for the graphics chip leaves 448 for winmo to use.
If you were on standard rom it would be 448 minus 128 leaving 336 for winmo.
You must already have a correct radio else the rom wouldn't boot.
When i flash ORIGINAL ROM, PHONE INFORMATION show 576...
When flash Energy, show 448...

When i've flashed original ROM, i had the 1.66 HSPL!
To flash energy i'm using HSLP4.
Screenshots please, and which stock rom?(full filename please) and you can't say " I used 1.66 hspl for this and hspl4 for that", it makes no sense, hspl4 includes 1.66hspl, so it tells us nothing, a bit like saying "I go to work in a Honda, but i come home in a car",, both mean the same thing.

With this rom, phone information show 576mb! By default, my HSLP = 1.66. To flash energy, i've flashed HSPL4.
My phone is a WWE and i've instaled this PT rom. If you don't believe, try yourself!

You need to have 2.08HSPL for 576 RAM.My guess is that you have 3.03HSPL.I also use Energy ROM and I have 576 RAM.
You say " default is 1.66 hspl, but you cannot run 3.14 roms on 1.66, you get memory errors, and the rom update code error was you flashing the wrong rom from SD car.

What radio i have to download?
any 2.07.50.x or higher, but teh radio on its own wont do it, you need to flash a new rom too, either a custom rom with 576 enabled, or a tmous stock rom.
okey but i have already a 2.12.50.02_2 radio and i want to flash the AxLor Leo V.10, is it ok? Can i flash the rom with sspl?
sure, i dont see why not, ive never used sspl. (why do you want to use sspl? you already have hspl, just flash the rom)

I've read on alot of posts on the net that people who updated to the latest official stock rom 3.14.405.2 (04666) WWE have managed to unlock the extra 576mb ram in their HD2 can anyone confirm this and if so how ?
I have just done the update in the U.K but the ram remain the same which was 448mb.
Does anyone know anything about this ?

Sir this is a trick; the peoples who see the 576MB of ram used the HSPL3, unfortunately this means thy have only access at 50MB of storage

These it strange. I have flashed the new WWE STOCK ROM and then the German Stock ROM 3.14.
On the WWE STOCK 3.14 i had 576 MB RAM
On the German STOCK 3.14 i have 448 MB RAM
Both where flashed without HSPL.
So its hard for me to beleve that this have anything to do with HSPL!?!
But i think the 576 MB maybe not real because when i test it with some proge on both i had a real RAM from 448.

Like we say here in Belgium some things are so strange we don't do the effort to search way!!
Probably HTC have get so much complains about the fact the USA model have 576 MB so and the EU version don't have that thy have decide to do this, so peoples are still

Guys I've installed official 3.14.405.2 (WWE) but the memory usage is always over 80% !!! and it won't let me run most of applications.
When I enter the bootloader it says SPL 2.08 HSPL
Please help me solving this problem.

Using HSPL with the latest Rom 3.14 caused problems sir like mention earlier!
Remove your HSPL version, so that you have the SPL 3.03 who is integrated in Stock Rom 3.14!

What should I do ?

On my leo WWE stock has 448mb of RAM. With spl 3.03 obviously.

Chose SPL 1.66
Ore flash Stock rom 1.66 from SD.
when you have SPL 1.66 you can upgrade to Stock Rom 3.14

I flashed SPL 1.66 via HSPL2 and tried to install the 3.14 ROM again but it shows Invalid Vendor ID error and didn't let me install the ROM (I downloaded the ROM from a direct link, not HTC website, cause it doesn't accept my serial number)
Is there any other way sir ?

I advice you to wait till HTC launch a compatible Rom update fore your device sir. I suppose you have a branded device!?

How could I find out which country my phone belongs to !?
all you have to do is download the official rom extract it
find the file name RUU_signed.nbh and rename it LEOIMG.nbh
copy this file to a formated sd card now hold the volume down and turn on your phone you will see boatloder screen as soon as grey screen appears release the volume down button
now press the power button again and there goes the magic

This isn't a good advice; certainly not in combination with rom's who are not build for some aria devices!

I am from Singapore and this is the first time I post something, I hope someone can help me.
Recently my HD2 was faulty and I sent it to HTC, they replaced the motherboard and everything was OK, (so I tot), until I realized that, my phone is always on high program memory usage, with no program running. (see the pictures below)
I need help, please.
your total program memory is about 128 meg too low, it should be about 336 total with usually around 200 or so used, and 120 free. Do you have a pre production test model?
When you enter bootloader, what does your spl say? x.xx.xxxx

hmm so the spl is correct for the 3.14 rom, so it isn't that.
You can't increase the total memory, it is 336 meg (448 total minus 128 graphics) for a regular hd2, and thats it. There is no adjusting it.
Not really sure what to suggest, though I think my first step would be calling your telco(or htc, whoever you sent it to) and kicking up a fuss and getting a replacement.
I called up HTC, they told me it could be hardware fault, gotta send in for repair

i gto my hd2 a week ago. it already had some ugly energy gtx costum rom on it. i flashed it with stock 3.14 rom that i downloadet directly from htc webpage. after this the phone had only around 60MB of RAM free. so i flashed the phone with rom on this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=610634 now i have around 300MB of RAM free when i start the phone. if i close all the apps, and disable htc sence its up to 330MB of ram free. on the official ROM 3.14 i also had only around 100MB of free internal storage. with this costom ROM its almost 200MB. and it still its stable has a greater htc sence then official rom. it has alot of apps alike rdc, mp3 trimmer... all you realy need.
So if you are not against flashing you can make your hd2 a great fast stable phone with lots or free ram and more internal storage then it was supposet to have out of the factory. oh and HD2 officialy has 448MB of RAM. But it also has 128MB hiden or locked or something... witht his ROM you have that 128MB unlocked so you have 576MB of ram.

Hi. I have Hspl 2 and 3.14 rom installed too, and the same problem with memory: The system shows a total program memory of 208.8 mb and a huge memory usage with no running programs. In the hardware info the ram appears correct: 512 mb. Is this a bug of 3.14 rom? and if so is there a solution?

its well discussed in loads of threads. any spl/hspl except 3.03.0000 will cause this with 3.14 roms. simple as that, no workaround. only way to get 3.14 on a branded phone (until o2 give us a 3.14 rom,,,,, next summer,,,) is goldcard.

no, you can't fix the spl without flashing.
Sorry, but I'm noob, and I'm getting a little confused...
So, the solution for run 3.14 rom in a branded phone without bugs as the memory one, is first update hspl to v3.03.0000, and then flash the 3.14 rom, isn't it?
its use a goldcard. that's it.

Yes sir spl will be updated.
And where should appear that hspl version number? If I soft-reset pushing volume down, I find this info:

but I can't see HSPL version 3.03 anywhere.

Sir like mentioned before you need to remove HSPL before installing stock ROM 3.14!
HSPL and stock ROM 3.14 (spl 3.03) isn't compatible.
Your solution is to flash a ROM from the HTC website, and since you have an O2 branded phone, then you need to download the 1.72 O2 ROM. Now your SPL will be 1.66.0000. You will need to do a bit of reading on how to do GoldCarding, then you can flash the 3.14 ROM.

I have intermediate level knowledge about rom flashing as I do it quite often with my present htc blackstone.
My questions about TMOUS HD2 are :
1) With HSPL3 / HSPL4, can I flash any custom WM6.5 ROM available here ?
Are the WM6.5 ROm's linked to a particular version of HSPL available at the time of their release ? I think HSPL / HSPL2 do not support TMOUS HD2
2) With HSPL3 / HSPL4, can I flash any custom RADIO ROM available here ?
Since I intend to use this outside of US, i am ok if the UMTS1700 band doesnt work. UMTS2100 will serve my purpose

1) No, most of them but not all. You have to read the first post of each thread whether the ROM can be used with TMoUS HD2.
The have to be installed with HSPL 3 / HSPL4
2) using the TMoUS you can only use thos Radio ROMs with xx.xx.50.xx but NOT xx.xx.51.xx. All of them can be installed with HSPL 3 and HSPL4

Yes you can pretty much flash any custom Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM for the HD2 here on XDA. Just make sure it does not have a x.xx.51.xx radio with the ROM which just about all customers Rome do not have radios included with them. Also it has to be a ROM based of a TMOUS Tom or it will not work correctly. To more directly answer your question they are linked to the SOL some what. The older EU ROMs are linked to the SOL versions that came with them as the were designed to work on the EU HD2s with 448MB of RAM. The SPLs hat come with the newer TMOUS ROMs are designed to work with the 576MB of RAM of the TMOUS HD2.

No you can not flash all radios to the TMOUS HD2. You can not clash a 2.04.50. xx, 2.05.50.xx, or any x.xx.51.xx radio version as they will brick and TMOUS HD2.

With stock ROM, the ram shows up as 320 MB (128 reserved for graphix) & With proper version of radio rom it shud show 448 MB (128 for graphix again) summing to 576 MB. Am i missing something ?

No you are not missing anything. really. With the EU HD2s you have to have a TMOUS ROM and TMOUS radio to unlock the extra 128MB of RAM. The EU HD2s come factory showing only 448MB of RAM. The TMOUS HD2s come factory with the 576MB of RAM.

Yes make sure any ROM you are going to flash is ok for the TMOUS. The wrong ROM will not hard brick a TMOUS it will nust not run worth a crap on a TMOUS, but the wrong radio will hard brick a TMOUS, so pretty much if you can not fimd something thar says the ROM is ok for a TMOUS do not flash it, just to be safe.
Hey guys, my HD2 running wm6.5.3 has a ram problem. The problem being that i can have 100mbs of free ram and i tells me that an app does not have enough memory to start. This really limates my multitasking ability.

I'm running a 3.14 rom and 2.08 hspl. My hardware specs show 576 ram. If i flash 3.03.0000 or 3.03.hspl, the hardware specs then show 448 ram. What's up with that?
Regular hd2 only has 448meg by default, the 576 is only unlocked in certain rom spl radio combinations.
You cannot have more then 32 processes running at the same time.
