Is there any way to install apps from the marketplace that are from another region?
I want to install the Opentable-App to my german phone, however Marketplace doesn't find it. I linked to it and now have it in marketplace, however there is no install-button. Changing language to United States doesn't help...

By the way, the T mobile rom has already root.
Go to the Android market.
Search for Google Pinyin IME.
When you want to input chinese, long tap on the space you want to type, select input method, and select Google Pinyin

Click to collapse
Here's the modified default.xml from "/system/customize/CID", just replace the original default.xml with this via root explorer, and do a factory reset,
yes, you have to otherwise the chinese input options won't show up.
Hi
I have purchased a new HTC Desire from China which I believe has Android OS 2.2 installed. However it contains a lot of Chinese applications that cannot be removed and I am unable to download any apk. files through the phone and their is also no market application installed. I have tried installing the market app from my computer on my phone but once it has been installed it wont run. Factory resets do not work. Is there any way to get around this?
Thanks
danie
You'll have to root your phone and install a non-chinese custom ROM. Apparently Market/Play Store is disabled is China (that's what I read in a similar thread). Just installing the Play Store apk in an incompatible ROM won't work. Also, removing the Chinese pre-installed apps is possible if you root.
If you can't find a specific rooting guide for your firmware version, there are some generic rooting guides that work for many Android phone. Search for 'rooting any android phone' and you'll find them.
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
why my google play doesnt show paid apps and sometime when i try to download some apps it says not available in your country ?? i used market unlocker but still not showing paid apps
I do not know, but maybe change the CSC code on multi csc or according to your country.
Hello:
I use 1Mobile, Aptoide, MoboMarket, F-Droid, AppCenter , all alternative markets. I have noticed that all report application updates, but depending on what is contained in their respective folders download, not by applications that I have actually installed.
For example, I use Firefox 33.0 and update to 34.0 release using 1Mobile, and then MoboMarket tells me there is a new update 34.0, the same that I downloaded and installed by 1Mobile not valued by MoboMaket...
What can I need to fix this...?
Thanks
I work in localization and I'd like to install some apps in languages other than the main language. That is, without having to change the main language. Is this possible if done from the Google Play store or do I have to use a specific app?
Thanks.
