Anywhooo.. Honeycomb bat mod, black bar, and simple looking dropdown. Just look at the screens.
-Flash with streakmod. (idk if clockwork will work but go for it anyways..)
-Please wipe cache and dalvik before flash.
- Only tried on 1.8.1, if you attempt on other builds your streak will grow legs, bite ur nose off, steal your wife/girlfriend, punch your grandma, then explode. You've been warned.
I flashed it but the H in the taskbat was a little to small for me but cool theme bro

Here is a little status bar teaser. I only recolored the connection and battery indicator. I plan on creating some swype themes, status bar, and possibly pull down. First Swype Theme is up!
How To:
1. Root!
2. Install MetaMorph from the market
3. Debugging mode on!
4. Copy ZIP files (my morphs) to sd card (unmount before proceeding)
5. Launch MetaMorph
6. Click 'unzip/extract new them"
7. Press arrow on bottom right to go to sd card
8. Find the ZIP theme and click it.
9. Click close on pop up after the files are loaded
10. Click 'apply all'
11. I haven't run too many yet... but I had to click apply all twice for it to take and the 'theme applied' message pops up.
12. Enjoy and show off your cool new swype keyboard to lame ass unrooted friends.

Hey motorjonny thanks for uploading this for all of us. I appreciate it. I'm not exactly to familiar with Metamorph themes myself but when I do get my new device I might just end up giving it a try. I like new things! Thanks again and I hope the thread picks up for ya.
hehe thanks.. People on the vibrant and other phones were pretty into this stuff. It is as easy as following the instructions i put up. I guess it is a bit early for this device... but I will continue to design some more. This phone rocks!
Thanks for the themes. I love metamorph just wish I knew how to actually make them.
I think you'll find that people aren't as mod/flash happy without full blown ROMs to flash over any major fsck up...
Plus we don't have a way to totally restore it to shipping Rom from full root either AFAIK

I totally understand that. I was a bit scared to start this work with no roms. But Nandroid works. I screwed up swype trying to load the g2 version with a mic.. no luck.. deleted swype.. Nandroid restore brought me back to right after i rooted. I have never had a problem with any metamorph I have created messing me up beyond repair. Mine are pretty basic image changes at this point.
I agree. But with the calibre of members on the forums these days with apps floating around like one click root, and perm root thru visionary has decreased severely and as a result some may not be as comfortable as you or I.
Nandroid has saved my Bacon on more than one occasion.
Also every one who purchased the device on launch is still within their return period, many have not made up their minds whether or not to even keep the device (i know I will, I may have to still swap mine out however...) and don't want any difficulty returning (or swapping) the phone.

Appreciate it bro, but I pulled it out the glacier rom in development.
Hey I don't know if anyone else using metamoprh or ninjamorph but neither wants to work for me. anytime I try and run the checks it tells me that some files could not be extracted and setup. And tells me to make sure my system partition has enough space. I have no idea what it means or how to fix it.
got that on my first use, reboot fixed me up right away...
when are we gonna get that status bar???
reboot doesn't work. I tried a couple times.

Do you have debugging turned on?
you have to download busybox on the market first then run it after it installs then run metamorph... thats how i got mine to work
Can't get kryptonic to work on iced glacier 1.0 swype literally disappears from the input menu... applying a different morph brings it back....

Update 05/04: As requested, alpha 3 is up. Though this is a port of the alpha6 gingersense from Ogo2 that brings us to 2.3.3, all the same problems from alpha 2 exist. You'll also find a lot of apps missing. Ogo2 took some of the bloatware out. Dont worry, when a final release is made I will restore all bloatware. A big thx to Ogo2 and Ohgami Ichiro for all the help thus far!
For screen shots, follow this link. It is the same rom, but for the G2.

Hello Slide Community
REMEMBER TO MAKE A BACKUP
This is an alpha version and I will do my best to reach 100% functionality. I am a noob developer, so please be patient with me as I fix the problems with this rom.
I recommend not sliding the keyboard out while on the home screen. The laucher doesnt like landscape at the moment and will mess up. A battery pull will fix it.
Noob Flashing Guide:
Place file on the root of your sd card
Go to recovery mode
Perform a nandroid backup or your current running rom (VERY highly recommended as this is alpha)
Wipe data & cache
flash (its going to hang at Coping Files... for awhile)
Reboot when done Flashing (its going to hang on the boot screen for awhile)
Enjoy!
As a sense rom, it takes up alot of the phone's internal memory. Dont worry though, there is A LOT of bloatware that can be removed and I'll do what I can to condense the rom. When I get this rom close to complete I will release a bloat-less version as well for those that dont want to bother with removing all that or are simply too inexperienced to do it.
Credit goes to (this will be updated as well):
Cyanogen and TeamDouche (rom uses bits of cm7)
alexdiaz (for linking us the leaked rom)
gnarlyc (for posting a loose guide on porting)
Surprisingly a lot works: phone, text, data, slide-out keyboard + FN/Caps buttons&lights, etc. I deodex-ed everything, zipaligned the apk files, added busybox, nano, bash, apps2sd
To fix list:
Watermark (fixed, thx ogo2 for the tips)
sd-card (fixed)
Bluetooth
WIFI
GPS
Camera/video
? key
auto-rotate (landscape will work if you slide the keyboard out)

this alfa is beast! i love the sense....any way you can release the rom itself of 2.1 sense? or is this one full rom? i was assuming your theming it
It's not a theme it is based off the Wildfire S leaked rom. I'll load it up too just to see it.
Though the fact that the keyboard works makes me wonder if there is a Wildfire S with keyboard coming.
Or maybe the code is the same for the ChaCha.

The Rom is exactly what you said. Though quite satisfied with CM7-RC2, it's my pleasure to flash it. Your stuff does bring hope to the device that not so popular, especially in my country.
VERY NICE.
thanks G!

Well sup guys, I just went back to Home Base after being on CM7 for a long time (need the Webtop for school), and am having an issue with what I guess would be TwLauncher.
Ill hit menu, select wallpaper, and there will be options to select CyanogenMod wallpapers, gallery ones, live, none, and wallpaper gallery. I thought Well thats odd, but whatever. But its not letting me change wallpapers at all. When it does, its in the wrong res, and it glitches out and its just overall crappy. What do I do to fix this? Thanks

Darkside says it doesn't have lapdock.
I just ordered the lapdock, so I have to decide what to switch to... I've run botht he weekly and daily CM7 builds, but alas, I will need to switch...
Are stock and Alien the only decent ones that have full lapdock support?
I have a stock unlocked and rooted rezound, i just created a zip from kitchen for my status bar icons. I followed the directions exact, wiped cache and dalvik, then flashed zip. Booted up and status bar keeps force closing. I then wiped cache and dalvik again, mounted data and system, and flashed again but with same results. Anyone know whats going on or how to fix, i am going to have to restore my nandroid and start over?
I wouldn't wipe. most times you get that but let it sit for a few minutes then reboot then it sticks
sent from tapatalk on my rezound
Ive tried everything and still it just shows no status bar and give the force close message from time to time

What ROM are you running? ICS ROMs are finicky and even still Sense GB ROMs can be that much worse. I'd recommend pulling your working framework and swapping the icons/files you're trying to get from the Kitchen.
Im stock rooted. Gingerbread
Im just gonna restore my backup i cant figure out anything else
I've been getting that status bar issue for the last few days. It started after I installed a couple remote control apps and a game. I've uninstalled the game and deleted the openfeint folder and uninstalled one of the remote control apps and it's still happening.
It usually restarts itself but sometimes I have to reboot to get it back.
I think I'm going to go back to my stock OTA nand and then set everything up again, make a nand and try that remote control app I like again.
Anyway, just chiming in that I'm having the issue as well but I've never used the kitchen. I am running a theme, a skin and I pulled in some icons from an ADW theme into Sense using Folder Organizer.
If I figure out what is causing mine to fc I'll post back.
Much appreciated thanks, my status bar never even showed once since flashing but the force close message would come up from time to time. I just restored my backup and am gonna continue looking into this. I would really like to get it solved to due away with the boring stock icons.
I wouldn't use a kitchen for that. Put your icons in with 7 zip and then sign it.

I've had a similar issue. Every zip I've tried using for my themes ends in a bootloop. I've never had to sign apk's before when making themes. Do I need to sign each APK for the zip?

If you're just swapping icons. Pull your framework/sysui and unzip it, swap the icons and re-zip it(usually using store compression). You won't need to sign the apk. I actually made a script for this.
