Lol didn't know there was already an Arc session. I ask this because I sent my x10 for repair 2 months ago, it is still on warranty, they could not fix it, neither do they have another to send to me, so they keep offering me a x10 mini, but I don't want it. It seems x10 are not being produced anymore, due to the Arc coming out soon, so I hope they will offer me an Arc =D ! Thing is I've waited for sooo long, if I just get my x10 back I'll be sad lol, because I could just have gone to PROCON (like consumer's rights here in Brazil), and they would have forced them to give me another in like 2 days. I've been waiting this whole time just to see if I can get the Arc lol.

Hello guys, i was wondering where is TRIP now, ever since he release the Dump Arc version, he never showed up.... not only TRIP as well as Z.... do you think X10 well be abandon?

That’s kind of irrelevant because I also have a HTC Magic and the dev's are still developing for that device even though it’s older then the x10. So it’s not really if the device is old it’s if the devs have time or if they even want to develop for the community. And to be honest a majority of our x10 community makes it an undesirable one to develop for :/
So we either need to wait and let them do their thing, or learn how to develop ourselves so we don’t always have to rely on the same 3~5 people.
Also without an open bootloader it makes it harder on the devs D:
There probably a little frustrated now. I mean its not easy doing what they wanna do with a locked bootloader. Maybe they need some time to themselves to clear there heads and start fresh.

I hope that they dont abandon us, or not sure perhaps SE hired them, not sure but i got those feelings.... the only dev that we have left is J... and i hope J will not give up on us... Im afraid to that.. Please J dont give up on us, your our only hope to make our beloved X10 shine to the fullest.....

aZuZu made an alpha honeycomb ROM but he removed the links as he says its on hold. I wasn't sure if it was usable, but you can try MIUI with honeycomb theme made by shiwantha, or have a look inside the themes and apps section.

aZuZu's hc port is for 2.1, since the libs are 2.1.
That was HoneyComb 3.0. When aZuZu's x10 returns from the service shop, the first tester will test it, and then if all possible bugs are eliminated, then it will be released to the public.

That's wrong. He got his x10 fixed, but hes not wworking on HC port. He wants to port .32 kernel to x10 mini first.

I know that but x10 is not fixed service shop said that cm and all was flashed on phone and didnt repaired the phone...

yerh, thats about right. pretty sad... I mean they say any SW or HW modificaiton is agasint the damn warranty. pretty sad, takes more than 30days to replace the phone... I mean last time i had warranty issues, it took mokia 45min to check for any damage, and then they even gave me a new phone,w hen they could have replaced it, and they ENCOURAGED users to update... sad life.

Yes its possible, but aZuZu's job is a security guard, not a rom developer. So he will release it whenever he is happy.

guys does anyone knows where Slade is?? it's been since he released gintonic 2.5.1 not shown and not updating his work!

You know the number of posts and visitors in our section is really down. I'm convinced everyone's bought a new phone. I'm starting to think that'll happen every time we get an Android phone and come on here.
Have to say I do want that new Mini, very cheap in my country.
but there are people who is still using this mini's hope they still provide support for our mini's!

Paul, if your phone don't get fixed, you will buy another model or you will help us and keep this device updated to at least 6 months?
You can try port ICS to us, they made it work (or are making, I don't know) on Nexus One. I am no dev, but it should be easier knowing this.

You know, there is a way.
Firstly, in other phone threads on here, it's quite normal to contribute a little donation to a dev. When many people do this, it's a nice thanks. Sometimes they do this to buy the dev a new phone. Also, this could be done to encourage a dev to make ICS for us. Some of us who have donated to devs, receive beta roms long before general release. If this is the last option, we could make a small donation (amounting to a nice amount after many people do it) then we get ICS...
just a few ideas....
But, paul, just one thing, do you think you will buy another x10 mini pro, or other device? Like Xperia ray or Xperia mini pro?
Ps.: slade isn't even online on Windows Live Messenger, so I think he is on vacation or something like that...

You know, that it's just a dream? You can't donate and "pew pew laser magic" we have ICS. It doesn't work, because of our hardware. We already have problems with some apps on Gingerbread because of our CPU, how do you imagine ICS on our phones?
If you really can't live without ICS, buy a new Mini(pro) (not X10 mini (pro)) and wait for the ICS update by Sony Ericsson (they promised something like this, but I'm not sure).

I won't explain, what I've written before, I think it's quite clear.
Btw. I was reading this forum half a year (EDIT)before I wrote my first post(/EDIT) and I am knowing more about this, than people who write 300 times "wifi doesn't work".
In Java I would write it similar to this:
amount of posts != amount of knowledge
Arc, I think I'll buy one next year, maybe in April, or a Xperia Pro. Anyway, independent of with (?) device you buy, I say good luck to you, hopè you make lots of good ROMs

Are you serious?
There's still a difference between Gingerbread and ICS...and there is still a difference between X10 and X10 mini(pro).
X10 has a 1GHz CPU and about 300MB RAM.
X10 mini and mini pro have 600MHz and 128MB RAM.
Even if they could run ICS on our small phones, it will possibly lag like hell or be very blurred.
I remember Owain trying to run Honeycomb on our phone and failing because of the screen resolution. You know, that our phone's screen only has 320x240 pixels?
A year ago nobody thought about Gingerbread on our phones, because there even wasn't a way to flash Froyo. There generally haven't been ROMs that weren't based on the stock one.
Nobody but Sony Ericsson had a doubt that Gingerbread could work on our phones.

Because honeycomb was specificly made for tablets. ICS on the other hand supports multiple resolutions (phone&tablet). So i doubt that will be a big issue.

Was anyone actually able to update yet?

There is a lot of Hype but not alot of Hope in this update beeing true yet.
