Sucks that the Thunderbolt does not have HTC Hub :-(
HTCSense.com
I talked to HTC yesterday and they said that the Thunderbolt will have Sense 2.0, so HTCsense.com should be available. Perhaps they just haven't updated the Web site yet?
Yea I know it has the new Sense but does the Thunderbolt give the option to sign into Htcsense.com when you go through the setup process
It does not contain the HTC hub....very strange

From what I've gathered from elsewhere... It seems that VZW might have requested that it not be allowed. We'll have to see what comes of it though.
It's definitely not here. I love it on my Inspire. Shame they pulled it
Cool thanks guys, that sucks I was excited about the sense.com features, I'm thinking it was pulled to conserve battery

With the news from Demo units not having access to HTCsense.com or HTC Hub and other Sense HD/Z apps being removed from the ThunderBolt, will we possibly see Devs on this forum porting them over to the ThunderBolt from the Desire S/HD/Z?
Great apps like HTC Hub, HTC Likes, HTC Locations and HTC Maps aren't present on the device, and it was reported at CES that it wouldn't have HTCsense.com integration because of Verizon not allowing it.
I don't think thats a big deal if we can get the Devs here to get them up and running on our ThunderBolts shortly after launch.
Am I right developers?
I'm pretty sure it will be ported
I'm hoping we will get virus to port his z Rom over

Look I've got a TB and jailbroken and rooted several. IF you had the oppertunity to trade for another what would it be? I'm looking at the Bionic. Just don't know.

That is a very non-descriptive subject line.
Don't be surprised if this thread gets no traction.

Perhaps you should go for an iPhone if you like jailbreaking...
Heh, just ribbing you. I think the Bolt is a great phone, the only real downfall being the stock battery, which I fixed by getting the extended battery.
That being said, I love HTC devices. If I were to want something else (which I don't), I'd have to say perhaps the EVO 3D or the Sensation.

I wouldn't trade it for anything out there yet. I have completely written off Moto because of the insistence on Blur (oh wait it's not blur it is the Moto UI nevermind what the files are actually called) and the locked and encrypted bootloaders. HTC is much more dev friendly and has open-sourced Sense additionally has announced that they will not have locked bootloaders anymore. Plus this phone is fast, 4g is awesome and the ROMs out there are great!
Is this app/feature still something HTC contributes to on the One X and EVO LTE?
Its kinda dead on the EVO 4G and Jetstream devices... Did it die off with htcsense.com or is there something new brewing there?
Though, its actually something I really enjoy, if they would do something like, a weeky, bimonthly, or even a monthly update. I would get so excited to see what new wallpapers or sounds htc had to offer.
I think I read in the manual that it is still there. Not sure if it has advanced any though.

Redesigned but not really improved. Couldn't find apps like Fashlight & other HTC specific apps.

I am so bummed that this app is gone.
I really got my use out of this app and it's widget on my EVO 4G and HTC Jetstream.
I suppose since it is not present on the EVO LTE, what is a good replacement that can live up to HTC NEWS?
Not sure but have you checked hub? App might be in there. Nut sure of good substitute.

It isn't there.
Bummer.
There is news in the weather app. I'm not sure if it's the same one you are referring to, but if you click on the Wx bar under the clock on the home screen, four tabs appear at the bottom once it comes up. The tab all the way on the right pulls up the news. Hope this helps
Edit: Let me pull my foot out of my mouth so I can say that I'm wrong. I just noticed that this is only Wx news so disregard my info above. Sorry about that.

I was feeling the same way. I loved that app, since I could use the RSS Feed from my local newspaper.
The best replacement that I've found is: Scrollable News. It works really well once you figure out how to set it up.
I downloaded Google's google reader and with sense 4.0's ability to resize widget, it is a decent replacement for this missing app.

So this morning I decided to call HTC regarding the WiFi issue we have all been having on honeycomb with the htc evo view 4g. Now I managed to speak to a few people and told them the same story about what's going on and how is not just one person having this issue. I told the last lady that HTC should push a patch for honeycomb through to fix this issue. She'd told me that HTC was going to release another update for the tablet later but she said she didn't know when exactly. In the end, the call lasted like an hour and a half and I got nowhere with them. I was thinking though. what if the whole evo view 4g community called and explained the issue so they can see exactly how many people are truly having issues with this and hopefully convince them to make the update. I mean, I don't really care if we get ICS or not but as long as they patch honeycomb I'll be happy.

GL with bad plan.
Seems actually smart. That was just a bad comment
Well I still wanted to give it a shot you know? I saw another push on here earlier that someone posted saying that they received an email from HTC on how we will not relieve the ICS update. But is say there is still a chance for the honeycomb patch. I see people on here that almost have ICS working on it already and Im not sure if i should still try.

As far as i know they didnt said they r ABANDONGING support on HTC Flyer actually they said they will be developing HC furthermore. As for mass calls; they wont change anything but your phone bill. There was petition already going on and changed nothing,...
Again good luck.
It is clear to me from the half finished Notes app that HTC has no intention of supporting old dollars, only in chasing new dollars. This attitude is why HTC is being destroyed in the marketplace by Samsung. Consumers don't like being abandoned.

*sigh* oh well. I really wish HTC cared though :/
