Hello
I'm new of the forum and sorry for my English
I have an Xperia X10i with Android 2.2.1 CM 6.1.3 V4.5.
I've seen that I can't choose the operator in manual mode. It says "error in nets research". And if I put on automatic search it stays still to say "searching new nets"... What could be?
Is there anyone with the same problem or that has a solution?
Thanks
Giulio
Sounds like you had a bad flash or u flashed it an improper way.
Did u wipe phone, caches and battery stats before flashing?

Hello All!
I have a question. I'm on version 4.4, baseband 2.1.54 and would like to know the step by step I need to do in xRecovery to upgrade to version 4.5.6 (wipe, ROM installation sequence, etc ...)
Thanks, fantastic ROM.

I did like it's on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=945264
I don't know... Maybe it's because I disable package connection...

Wolfbreak has given step by step instructions which are pretty clear on how to upgrade to the 4.5.6/4.5.7 ROM.
However I too was confused when upgrading to 4.5.7 from 4.4. I was confused whether I shall lose my apps or not.
I think wolfbreak has made a new ROM 4.5 which overwrites the previous versions. Therefore it shall wipe everything. You will no longer have the apps and settings you have on v4.4. Therefore make a backup of the apps using titanium backup or something. Then go to xRecovery and make a backup of the ROM in case anything goes wrong. Then make a full factory wipe. Then wipe the cache, then the dalvik cache and lastly wipe the battery stats. Then go to install custom zip and flash the CM-6.1.3-V4.5.zip. Then again go to install custom zip and flash the CM-6.1.3-V4.5.7.zip. Then again, one last time go to custom zip and flash the gapps. Then reboot. Then follow the last three instructions on wolfbreak's page.
Hello
Now my phone is still in roaming and I can't switch it to my nation's net...
Any help?

Hello everyone,
first, i used the search button but had no luck to find a solution for my problem .
I have a BlueSparks v5 ROM installed but wanted to try trip's latest MIUI ROM (v1.0), so i flashed it at my .54 baseband but had no radio. so i flashed the .49 bb (from here) and the flashed the rom again but this time i had "Unknown baseband) in the info section beside the radio problem.
so i figured out that i better flash the whole 2.0.2.A.0.24 FW (from here) to have the bb problem corrected, but again im having the same.
at last i restored my backed up ROM till i get this problem solved, so any ideas guys?
Full wipe in xrecovery, n wipe cache, batt stats, dalvik, once u flash miui n reboot, look for the dev tool app on the home screen open it, pik bad behavior, crash system server, it will reboot n u should have radio now!!
Best regards,
Chris

Hi,
Give some more details,
On wich ROM are you, official or customised ?
Task killer app ?
Always the same problem with this phone or new problem ?
If you've installed the new custom kernels, then battery drain is normal..also did you do a clean install of the rom? If yes, did you restore the apps and data.?
As I said I'm running wolfbreaks rom. I have already done a fresh installation of the rom. I have restored apps and data using mybackup root. I am not running any costum kernels. Any help is appreciated thanks guys.

Wipe dalvik cache and reset battery stats, that could help
There is a known issue, stated on Wolfbreaks thread about the ROM, it says that if you have this problem..
Make a full fresh reinstall of 2.1 trought Sony Ericsson Update Service and then after that my ROM and dont restore your Data in 2.1 or my ROM. Make a fresh install and if thats done you can restore Data with Flashtool Method i described or with MyBackupRoot/Titanium

I use the Cyanogen 6.1.3 & have no issues at al, maybe you should callebrate your battery every once in a while!
Have you updated Wolf's ROM to V06? Since I updated the phone is flying! Very fast and smooth and battery seems to last much longer
reflash the phone (or recover using xRecovery) to 2.1
then reboot back to xRecovery, wipe everything in order as written in the instructions.
flash base rom (v05), reboot, login to the market and let it settle.
then install the update v06, flash in the new market, then reboot.
apart from doing the correct steps, it is also important to calibrate your battery, which you can find apps from the market to do so.
hey guyz
sorry to start a new post but i have searched everywhere on this platform and mostly its same solution everywhere so i think i just need some specific steps to do it i guess.
i was on A0435 with baseband .54 which comes with generic rom. then i searched and found out that MIUI 1.0.5 can work on .54 without changing to .49, we just apply cm6bb54.zip patch.
first i did was flashed A0435, ran the phone, rooted, installed xrevocery, then i flashed trip's MIUI 1.0.5 through xrecovery and without rebooting i flashed the patch also. that solved the problem of network connection.
but my major problem is that it keeps bootlooping. i cant get it to stop bootlooping.
i have also tried 10times to flash .49 on it but it wudnt work. i always get unkoen baseband and because of that again MIUI wudnt work.
i need some1 to help me out with steps to do it perfect from whom this ROM is working on x10.
thank you for your time.
worked fine for me....
Did you make sure to full wipe before you flashed the rom?
full wipe/factory restore, wipe cache, then go into advanced and wipe dalvik cache. Then flash the rom, followed by the patch.
yes, i have tried all that and its still bootloop.
try loading it for a minute and letting it settle, then afterwards going back into xrecovery and flashing the patch.
thnx man. but i just found my own way of working this thing out. for any1 who has/had problem like me installing MIUI 1.0.5 on .54..just flash generic A.0.24 which has .49 preinstalled baseband and then just follow normal xrecovery method of flashing the MIUI 1.0.5 and it works perfect.

lol or you could just flash the .49 baseband instead of a whole firmware.
The patch worked fine for me and everyone else, judging by this post, I'm assuming it's something you're doing
hey guys,
so after reading the CM9 install guide, looks like I need to flash the stock ICS first. I'm currently using MIUI 2.1.7 which is still gingerbread.
I went to the stock ICS firmwares:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544487
But didn't see any North American or Canada firmwares, does it matter if I get the Argentina one, or can anyone direct me to a North American version.
Another question is, after I flash the stock ICS, will I still have my root and CWM?
Thanks,
eclipse

Incorrect, just flash cm9.
I can go from MIUI gingerbread, straight to the latest CM9?
So just follow the flashing instructions I guess, and skip all the other nonsense?
If you're flashing through CWM there is a long and complex process to flashing such a complicated ROM:
Step 1. Factory reset/ wipe cache/ wipe dalvik cache
Step 2. Flash CM9
EDIT: Remember to keep breathing whilst you do it, sometimes I need to focus so intently on the complex process I forget.
One more question, if I wanted to update CM9 via Rom Manager, to a newer nightly, would any data/apps/contacts be lost or reset, or is it just an update?
Nightlies are just an update, no need for a wipe.

Don't use rom manager, I've been hearing bad things about it. Just use cwm recovery. And no data would be lost, just don't data wipe / factory reset in cwm recovery

Hello to everyone
I have a big problem. I flashed and rooted my mini pro with FlashTool and it worked well with wifi and mobile internet. But I can't reveice calls and don't hear the sound and the voice when calling. I tried differend ROM's and to reflash the mobile. Nothing worked.
Has someone the solution? I found only equal problems with samsung phones... Hope someone can help me.
Greetings
Vispa
Please save us the guesswork and provide more info.
What ROM were you using prior to this malfunction? Stock GB? Stock ICS? AOSP-based? if so, which one?
What baseband were you using? Remember, ICS and above should be using version .72 as a minimum, .77 is generally recommended
What ROM did you flash when this happened?
Remember, always flash stock firmware using flashtool or sony's official tools when experiencing this kind of firmware-related issues.
Sorry, I was too excited! I tried the whole day...
I used the rom CM 9.1. mango (Android 4.0.4). Baseband is 77.
I flashed with the boot.img from the cyanogenmod zip(mango) I got from their page. Then I did the "factory reset/wipe data" and over "advanced" the "wipe dalvik cache". Then I choosed the cm over „Install ZIP from sdcard" and after that the gapp.zip....
What other information do you need? I bet I forgot something!
Thank you in advanced
Try flashing stock ICS, and then install FXP's CM9 again. You seem have followed the standard procedure, so your problem just seems to be a coincidence. A sad one, that is.
in case you didn't know, download FXP's CM9 from here: http://unrestrict.li/fxp
I strongly recommend trying mikeioainna's LegacyXperia CM10.1, it's great.
