can i have the stock eb01 notification bar for use on superclean?
As far as I know you can't change the bar but you can change the quick panel back to the touchwiz panel. If there is a way to change the bar I'd like to know about it as well.

It's been posted under a couple of names but a search for tw-res.zip should bring it up. You flash it in recovery and you will get the original gray and green quick panel.
I used it with SC until I started using a theme.

to change it yourself, you have to have some understanding of theming...its not particularly hard but that depends on what your want to do...the pulldown is resized in superclean, but swapping out status_bar_expanded.xml in the layout folder from a stock eb01 twframework-res.apk will size it the way it was stock.
or you could just pull a stock twframework (deodexed of course) and push/flash it if you dont want to do any of that

Any one come across one? I don't want to lose the pulldown toggle buttons in this rom cuz I like it. Just want the actual bar black, don't really care about notification icons as long as the battery is still an exact accurate one. Thanks guys.

I installed the transparent pulldown and 5 bar signal mod for the new bamf sense 3 RC1. When I pulled down the status bar, I noticed it is a dark background with dark text so it is not legible. I looked at the files in the zip and saw that it was just systemUI.apk and framework-res.apk so i copied them out of the rom and pushed them to my phone via adb. I had many ill effects and had to copy my backup on to the phone.
Does anyone know a way to make the pull down text white so it is legible? or even get the regular pull down back so the black text can be seen. Please let me know.
This is an awesome rom. I have found zero flaws with the rom itself. Definitely my daily driver.

I did some googling but the few solutions I found did not work, does anyone know a good mod or app to make the notification bar translucent on GB roms? Specifically I am on Simply Honey 5.0. Metamorph or otherwise?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the advice, I went there and was eventually able to make a pretty decent themed pulldown menu, but the only thing that didn't change was the top bar even though it was right in the example it showed before I finished it. I tried a few more but everytime the bar was the only thing that wouldn't change.
Oh well, I just can't seem to work this thing out. Thanks anyways!

decompile the apk, I think its systemui.apk and then modify the status bar and then recompile it
how can i install quickpanel settings to my player? I'm currently using generic ginger 1.1 and i love the customizable shortcuts at the top... i did a google search and found an app but it looks like it would only add another bar under the one i already have i think... sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...
just had a thought: could i just bring the framework.apk and systemui.apk over from another rom like chip 1.5 and flash them? or would that leave me with a paper weight??

The quickpanel is implemented in systemui, but because of resources and signing, you'd also lidroid-res framework-res and most of the other system apps. If there's nothing specific you need from genericginger, it'd be much easier to just flash chip. (Not trying to advertise)
And yes the app would just add another bar, which is probably not what you want.

Status bar color is quite limited and doesn't change everything.
I'm looking for something to change the colour of the status bar icons and the transparency. Is there anything for that without changing system apks?

I would recommend taking a look at Omega Status Bar https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.calsto.omega.statusbar it offers numerous customization and theme options if you don't want to have to edit system apks.

It's non-root so i'm not sure if it's 100% reliable.
