Hey guys...
So i want to know if it's possible to get the stock or the new neo/arc/active's music player on the X8 with GingerDx ??

I think you can take the Music.apk of the stock rom.
You think it will work without changing anything?

no man it doesn't work by this way...either just copying or with changing permissions..i tried it....need to be ported...i asked for it..but they told me it's difficult
I think that GingetCruzt has stock player. That one should work on GDX.

Just download MiniCM from nAa and pull the music.apk from its system folder.
The minicm 2.2.0 is the more faster rom and the music player is one of the best

Yes the minicm7 2.2.0 has a super music player

Unless im mistaken, minicm7 2.2.0 uses the stock CM7 music player... more or less.

If you still interested...
This is installed as separate keyboard, doesn't overwrite your current LatinIME.
