why i cant install this apk?
Is there any error when you tried to install, there can be compatibility issue. Where did you got this app?
Try menu then applications.First thing there is unknown sources. You need to enable this option in order to install any other application beside Market ones.
Is that the problem?
Try to use root explorer to install it.

Try finding an apk file for the market. Uninstall the one of your phone and install the downloaded one.

Or else do a manual install of market app. We have a lots of them in apps section. Fix permissions. Use android commander from pc and install that app as a system app. But you need google account and its services to detect.
So last few days I very been having problems installing apks. Everytime I go to install the only button that works is cancel I try to press install and it doesn't allow me to push it. Unknown sources is on, what am I missing?

New rom? Bad rom flash ? Try install using emulator or ADB
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
Have you tried installing through adb ? And what apps are you trying to install ?
Another thing to try is putting the app on your sdcard and moving it to /data/app with a file manager.
I've tried multiple roms same issue and I haven't tried adb can you explain how to do it through adb? First it's set cpu and the second is HTC calibration app

Maybe try fixing permissions and clearing cache In recovery, then try and install the apk
****'ll Buff Out
If a apk wasn't signed it won't install... You will have issue with things It won't show up on your phone.. You can try throwing it in the rom somewhere like the app section and you might get it to pop up and work. You can flash and turn of check for sig and it should install fine..

It's a security thing I think. I forgot the exact solution but I remember having the same problem and I searched and found a solution somewhere on the internet. I do remember deleting an app and the issue was fixed. I'll look and see if I can find the solution.
EDIT: FOUND IT!! You must diable screen filter and you'll be good to go.
I flashed the official nightly build of CyanogenMod on my Samsung Galaxy Ace.
The root explorer just closes when I try to open it. So I removed it, and installed it via an apk, same issue.
And when I download it from the market, it says it's "Purchased", but when I try to download it, it gives me a 403 error. Please help. Thank you.
You know I have the same problem with the market saying I purchased it and giving me that error. I wouldn't know why its not opening on your phone tho.

Try wiping market cache and downloading again.
The file explorer in stock Cyanogen mod could do most things that root explorer could...by the way...you bought root explorer?impossible cause you said you were using an apk...google play now displays paid apps installed via apk as purchased...but won't let you download...

The FE does not give you root access, that's why RE comes in place.
But I prefer ES File.
Yeah, I think I'll just let it be since ES File Explorer does that, too.
I can´t install applications (apk) to the tablet. I am running 4.1.2 Kernel 3.0.31 - 767276. I have allowed the unknown sources in the security tab, but when hitting in the apk application, I got the install/cancel option, whne hitting install, the tablet doesn´t accept the option. If I hit cancel, it just cancel the installation. What should I do to be able to install apk?
Thanks

First, you posted on the wrong thread. (I already reported your post to be moved) Second, are you using an SIII or a tablet? Quite confused here.
I am using a tablet to post this message, but the problem is with the SGS3

Screenshot of the problem?
Do you have screen filter because it has the problem of not allowing users to press install if it is enabled. Simple solution is just to disable it (if you have it in the first place).

if u are referring to apk files you've not been able to install, download app 'easy installer ' or 'apkinstaller' from play store. easy installer is better as it scans your phone and shows you all apks present.. then click install.. if not, use apkinstaller
R: [Q] Can´t Install Applications (apk)
I dont get what ure problem is....if u mean that u try to install but then u get an error app couldnt be installed u need to install logcat fron the store and it will show you what happens when ure installing. Usually its because the app left traces in ure phone, u need to go and delete them(logcat will tell u where) and then u will be able to install.
U need root!

Is the app you're trying to installed is known to be compatible with CM10.1 and the NT?
Similar app as trial versions work from google play.
Issue got solved by giving root access to file manager
