Just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I was wondering if they make a rubber fitted case for the Tilt 2? Kinda like an Iphone one...
I have one for my US Tmo that I got from the Tmo store............
Don't order the one from boxwave http://www.boxwave.com/products/praetoriancrystalslip/htc-tilt-2-praetorian-crystal-slip-case_3729.htm

I ordered this one for my tilt 2, you have to slide the keyboard out in order to get the top and bottom piece on. It takes a while, but once I got it on, it stayed.

This thread is for the Tilt 2 Rubber cases only!
My Boxwave Praetorian Crystal Slip for the Tilt 2 review.
The first picture shows the gap you will get with the top piece on or off!
In the last picture. There is a little piece towards the right of the screw, that the top part of the case won't fit over.
If you let anybody check out your phone with this case on it will come right off.
Nice pics...
I'm glad you took a pic of just the bottom piece. I've actually thought about just buying the bottom piece since that's all I'm concerned about...it seems way too thick. I know I wouldn't like it on my phone and would end up just tossing it.
I'm really looking for one of those silicone back covers that they have for the iPhone...
Thanks again,

The bottom part of the case is good and fits really nice, but for $20? If it came in black maybe, I said maybe!
Right now I using my old Tilt case after I had the velcro replaced and with the bottom part on, it's way to tight.

No prob mate, just wanted to point that the other thread I mentioned is for ALL
SILICON case for Rhodium (any model)
So instead of having 4 threads for avery model the idea was to have one for all models, that´s all.
Peace

WOW! Thanks for posting your opinion and the pics. I was about to order one of these. I totally agree that the bottom piece is too thick and that's a HUGE gap it creates between the top and the base. That seems like it'll wear the springs out. Sucks that there just doesn't seem to be a good rubber case for the Tilt 2. I'm really hoping Seidio will make an Innocase Surface for the Tilt 2. They already make them for the Sprint and Verizon version of the TP2. I've read where people have been told they're going to make one and others where they've said they will not. I'm just saying I'll believe it when I see it.
Kinda lame Seidio...

We understand your efforts of trying to merge all into one thread and all, but honestly, I would prefer 4 Separate threads. If i have the ATT tilt 2 (which I do), I would not want to read OVER 30 PAGES of freakin' reviews and such JUST for my one model. We understand your good Samaritan acts here, but seriously, people don't have the patience or time for that -- UNLESS, every 5 pages, you would like to do the honors of summarizing which cases work for every model since you want to dump it into a "come-one-come-all" thread. I don't know about you, but your thread is too long for the newcomers who are looking up a good case for their model. Besides, it doesn't hurt to have more threads in this section because its pretty slow paced.
Sorry, was kind of getting tired of you rejecting every thread that pops up about this.
Oh, and many of the posts in that thread are close to useless and does not help at all. So basically ---> your life is wasted reading that long of a thread. Make a new one at least please.

I bought this case:
http://www.amazon.com/rooCASE-Leath...KP1G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326056034&sr=8-1
I ended up returning it. It's a nice case, but it left scuff marks all over my NT. I haven't been able to remove the marks with Goo-Gone or isopropyl alcohol. Any ideas on how to clean the NT?
Same **** happened to mine not sure what to do about it tho.
OH wow, talk about timing - I was just asking this exact case in another thread on this very forum. Sorry to hear about that - hopefully you left a note in the reviews to warn others.

Good call. I'll go ahead and do that sometime.
thanks for the warning, was going to pick up one of these since there's a ton of positive reviews for the nook color
Ugh thanks for the heads up. I checked mine and found 2 tiny marks. It's such a secured case though so I just taped the sides.

Same here. Looks ugly when I take the device out of the case. But at the end of the day, I don't worry too much about it. I mean it is gonna always stay inside the case for me, ugly marks are all hidden.
I had this problem just leaving the nook in the box it came in. Where the microfiber was sitting on it, the edge turned black and scuffed. It's an unfortunate material choice. Probably better off to keep it in one in a case that covers the edges, so you won't ever see it.
Wow I bought the same case and got the same marks.
I also tried alcohol. Im at my wits end. Almost tempted to use some kind if abraisive, but dont want to hurt my nook's finish.

Seriously?
So, I bypassed this issue after hearing about the stain issue on the Roocase from this thread.
So, to get around the problem, I got an Otterbox Commuter, and put velcro on the back of it. It gives me Otterbox-level protection with the ability to have a stand that will hold it in portrait or landscape mode. Since the stand originally just uses velcro for this it functions exactly as it originally did.
I just got vecro adhesive tape from the local WalMart and put 2 strips on the middle part of the back of the Otterbox.
One thing I like about the case is that it has a little pocket that fits a microfiber screen cleaner cloth in a small plastic envelope.
I opened my Prime to try and improve my wifi, and now there's a gap between the glass and outer shell, right near the power button. When I put it back together, I made sure I started at the top, and worked my way around the rest of the glass. Any suggestions on how Ican get rid of the gap?

Oh, my bad. I thought I did post it in this section. Brain cramp.
You have to make sure the top edge is really snug before closing it up. It has a tendency to open up if not correctly pushed in.
When mine came back from RMA it was like that.
It can also be that the glass is coming away from its backing and the seal slides back and under the glass creating the illusion of a gap. Again this was present when mine returned from RMA. To fix this you need to push the glass back down to force the seal forward and closing up the gap. Then carefully heat the top edge of the screen with a hairdryer or heat gun. I think the ideal temperature is 70c. Then apply pressure to the screen edge until it has cooled. This fixed mine perfectly.

I took a real good look at the clip that's in the spot where it's separated, and it has a crack in it, so that's why it won't clip.
Hello all. I had bought my v10 last week and got my third party case from eBay a couple of days ago and that's when I learned of the sensor issue. On mine, just like others, the sensor is nearly useless.
So I did some scouting and found the UAG case. I contacted the company in regards to this case and they claim the case works 100% with the fingerprint sensor. Has anyone here used the Urban Armor Gear case? Its a pretty pricey investment and don't want to flush more $$ on cases that just won't work.
Easy Fingerprint / Case fix
Just keep the case you like.
Cut a thin (~1") strip of aluminum foil long enough to connect both metal side rails (~3").
Lay it across the back of your phone so that it covers the bottom volume button and touches each metal side rail.
Then put the case on.
As long as your finger can brush up against the foil when you try to unlock, it works every time.
They'll eventually roll out an update that will address this, so don't worry about "cases that work", they're probably lying anyway unless they have a metal strip built in.

Here is what I did http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64016697&postcount=12. It works fine for me just remember to smooth out the edges so they are completely flat else you have a chance of scratching the metal rails.

Yep, just make it work. When I put the strip in, I didn't even cut around the hole like in your pics. It actually turned out pretty clean, the aluminum forms itself to the bottom button and looks kind of like a silver half-moon. I could see where yours could work better from some angles, but I never have problems, and am lazy. You can see it on imgur if you paste in mqJXBDY after the slash.

I actually didn't cut that part out I used the excess and rolled it up to line the edge of the cutout so when I touch the FPS my finger would still be in contact with foil without covering up the button. Pretty much my cuts of foil are the red lines with the arrows showing where the pieces were rolled to line the edge.
That is pretty slick.
Does anyone know how the sliding system will cope with the protection covers and tpu bumpers?
Just got my mix 3, China version. Looks like the cases and bumpers could fit snugly around the top and both sides. On the bottom the front facing third is sorta notched so the face can slide down. At least that's what it looks like to me...
See case bump out on my mi mix 3
<just noticed the original upload failed...reupping photos of included case. You will notice the case does not cover the bottom completly, just enough for the slider to move.>

The bottom part is actually part of a larger piece of plastic that surrounds the entire phone, top and bottom. This piece slides within the bottom case.
