Hi, I need help a.s.a.p
I just bought a Data Only Package for the HTC S740, I'm having problem accessing the Internet w/ the phone. I keep getting Connection Error & telling me to verify my Settings. Can someone please help me set it up or is there a place where I can download the settings. I need it set-up as soon as possible.
Thanks
Closest thingie I've found is here. Nevertheless, if it's really s740 (not s743), you can expect only GPRS/EDGE and WiFi hotspots connectivity. European s740 will not work on american 3G networks (unlike s743).
Hi there,
I have searched and searched but I can't find anything. I know it's an unusual request but is there an app (or even some simple built-in functionality or a reg tweak) that allows you to enable all data roaming on the HTC?
The reason for this is that, in UK T-Mo and Orange are now network sharing. I am on T-Mobile but when my reception is low the service switches to Orange.
Problem is that my phone thinks it is roaming when it switches to Orange and this messes with my data services. I cannot figure out which of those services are set to disable data in roaming aas I'm not sure where to look.
I'd be happy to set all of my apps to download while roaming as I have NoDataInRoam installed for when I go abroad. The rest of the time I do want to download data when 'roaming'!!
Any help anyone? I know it seems dumb, sorry.

Have a look in the settings tab in sense, there is an option for Data Services. Go to each service you use and enable the check box Download When Roaming. Hope this helps.
Hi,
since the first day with my Xperia Tablet Z (and Xperia Z1) i´m facing the following problem:
While in WLAN networks there is no problem with the usage of video unlimited on both devices.
But on the road in the german t-mobile network i can´t start the video unlimited app.
I´ll get an error message that my position did not match with the account settings and the app is closing.
Whats the problem? I´m not sure. Checked my PSN settings, Germany as country setting is right.
Could this be a provider problem?
Anyone else faced this issue?
Hi all,
I have a Z2 on O2 UK my HSPA and HSPA+ is slow at web browsing google maps etc and 3G/Edge I getr notifications but can't web browse or use apps that require the web i.e. facebook, I contacted O2 they suggested a full factory reset to resolve the issue? I'm guessing this would have no effect? any ideas?
Cheers

i am using a Poco F1 and i am outside India, Recently i lost my Jio network reception and i thought it was because i did not recharge my international services pack but after i did a successful recharge i still did not get any network. Usually here in Hungary, it will connect to 'Telenor HU' network. I contacted the customer service and they told me to enable the roaming services in the STK or Sim Toolkit application whoich i am unable to find in my phone!! Please help someone Thanks in Advance.
Edit: i have not yet hard reset my phone to check whether it reappears or not!! And also i cannot find the STK app even in the application manager in settings
Edit2: i found that the sim tool kit is missing only in devices with Android 10 but only it is missing from the app tray. It can be found from the application manager from settings
