Opera browser issue

Hi Guys,
I need some help. I loaded the BB connect in my Fuze and started using it. Plus I had checked out another sim, mean for a BB. Now I had my Opera perfectly working with MSN or Yahoo taking me to the normal standard site without issues till date.
But based on this changes on the new sim (2nd sim inserted to test in the Fuze) due to the data connection it has the MSN was rendered by Opera was mobile version. I am not sure if this is he issue or the BB browser config is making this issue.
Now my Opera is rendering MSN mobile, Yahoo mobile but doesn't go to standard at all. I have a ATT PDA unlimted data plan and BB enterprise connect. Something went wrong, not sure if this can be in the phone or something idiotic at ATT proxy end. Other sites are seemingly ok, I checked twitter and google. Issue is the behavior is not totally dofferent for MSN. I cannot even see the videos etc now. Cleared Cache, cookies, history, disabled BB broswer settings, I mean anything I can think of.
THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY.
Any idea on how to help on this. I would like to know if this is Opera or ATT or MSN screwup. My hunch is OPERA picking up the link or the ATT proxy somehow storing some setting thats not recognizing my unlimited plan.
Seemingly iwth a HSDPA connection the download and the push email seems to be slow too. Even Opera is slow.
PLEASE PROVIDE INSIGHTS GURUS.
Thanks
The only thing I can think of, and it's simple, probably something you've checked, but the option "Mobile View" under Display in the settings would cause that.

Bypass service provider restrictions?

My service providers are jerks. They put all sorts of filters on my internet connection. The only browser that works properly on my X10 is Dolphin Mini. Downloading apps from the market for the most part is extremely difficult. I was just wondering if there was a way to change the DNS, or use a proxy to bypass all this.
PS, the ISP in question is MTN Nigeria (7.2 Mbps HSDPA).
I tried using my friend's etisalat Nigeria SIM, and everything worked like a charm. And that was on EDGE.
Thanks.
If you are using the net to download apps. I suggest you download apps through wi-fi. Or when you need to surf the web.
3G etc, is for small uses.

Well if it's your service provider who blocks, you can't do anything on your phone.

Thanks for answering!
But APN settings seems to be ok and since I can open any webpage on Opera, I don't think this is the problem.
Edit:
Also, some apps like facebook, foursquare and gmail doesn't get network connection, while whatsapp works fine :S
Edit2:
Solved
I had two APN configured, one was working and the other wasn't, so I deleted the broke one and now every app uses the right one

X10i fluctuates between HSDPA & EDGE, doesnt browse or connect to the web on EDGE

Hi,
I am an android noob and would really appreciate some help here. I recently acquired a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i running on Gingerbread 2.3.3. The phone however has failed to live up to my expectations as its connectivity to the internet is very terrible. The mobile networks in my location provide either 3G or HSDPA. The phone however is predominantly on EDGE and even then there is no connectivity with EDGE. Only Opera Mini manages to pull down pages after many minutes of requesting the page and constant refreshing. The same SIM when inserted in a USB Modem dongle gives stable HSDPA internet connectivity. When connected to HSDPA though, the phone's connectivity i trouble free. My question is: Why am I unable to browse or use any of the apps (facebook, play store, twitter, bbc news, Y! Messenger etc) with and EDGE connection? I have tried to restrict connectivity to only WCDMA in settings but this only results in long periods of loss of network on the phone. Help please. I need the phone to operate on EDGE as well as HSDPA as most parts of Nigeria has EDGE coverage with HSDPA only being rolled out in stages in select locations. Thanks

Try to change the network mode to GSM/WCDMA preferred.nd in ur area if there is no full coverage of hsdpa.then the network mode fluctuates to edge to hsdpa.so if u want nly 2g.then select GSM only.then the network wnt fulctuate to hsdpa.
if helped hit thanks

Lke you said if its hard to get a 2g connection the x10 may not be capable of it for some reason in your area :/
If u want to switch between 2g n 3g ,that depends on.ur network provider ( I in India went and ask Docomo service company if I could switch between 2g( EDGE) AND 3g . I got a flat ' no ' reply) .
If u only want 2g go to network settings, and change to GSM only. It may work provided ur service provider doesn't use 3g on it.

Just switch your network to GSM only in network settings and it would only pick up 2G.

[Q] Why doesn't syncing apps work on Mobile Data?

Hi, I just got an S3 a couple of weeks ago and it's an amazing device but I've ran into a problem. When I'm on Mobile Data I do not receive notifications for any app, be it GMail, Email app, Facebook. If I turn on wifi they work perfectly. Here's a list of things I tried.
Enabling Sync option On and Off
Clear data and cache for Gmail, Email, Facebook
Made sure there no limit of Mobile data or that these apps are restricted from using the Mobile Data connection
Switched from ICS to Jellybean
Factory reset after I put in Jellybean
EDIT: My carrier is Orange.
Browsing the net and manually refreshing the apps for new content works.
What could be the problem, guys?

Your carrier can't be 'orange' there's no such carrier... do you mean your carrier is AT&T and you're 'orange' to them? I used to work with cell phone companies and I know AT&T works with three different colors, orange(AT&T), Blue(Cingular) and Red (Cell One) The colors are only a way to separate the old customers who were bought in with the buy of the other companies from the new ones and their plans.
In any case... Mobile Data on, what do you have it 'on'? Are you running 4G, 3G, E or WiFi? Your phone should tell you at the top.... it sounds like even though you have your internet on, it's not getting any data 'signal'... data signal and phone signal are very different, although you might have full bars to get calls, your data may not be transferring through and that's why you're not getting your e-mails...
Your Sync needs to be ON to receive e-mails and you also need to go into your e-mail settings and make it check for e-mails at SOME point, maybe an hour or every 5 minutes, it's up to you on that one.

Orange is a UK carrier and other parts of europe
Or it was until they recently changed their name to EE
Found out the problem. Orange Wap was selected instead of Orange Internet in Settings > Access Point Names.
