Hi,
I would like to reprogram my hard buttons, mostly the lock button. Is there an app that can do this? I'd like to make it launch an app when i press it and then lock it ( the app itself locks the droid ).
Thanks for help.

Is there a way to make the volume rockers turn the screen on also? Like in build.prop settings or something?
Like this?

Click to collapse
It's the home button and the power button
I seem to have tried that, but it doesn't work?
Any kind of time period, or order?

God.. it's volume down and power. Press and hold them at the same time.
Got it. Thanks

That's strange, I tried volume down + power and it don't work on my phone only home and power. Maybe because I'm running XXLPH :\
It's the home and lock button, you just need to hold them for a few seconds

On LPH both methods work.
1- press and hold power button, then press home button.
2- volume down and power button at the same time.
Is there any way to remap the the menu or back button to bring up the multi-tasking menu through long press?
Check out my other post. I use this app and it works well

Is there a mod that can open an app when the menu button is held down? I know some launchers use this but I want to be able to use it everywhere, not just in the launcher. Thanks!

I'm not sure about the menu button but I think there's something called home2home or something that let's you change what holding the home key does. I'm not sure though so I could be wrong
