Can a dev possibly do some tweaking on the Samsung keyboard? I'd really love an option for turn vibrate on and off, after hitting a number and then space going back to the letters part of the keyboard. Any other suggestions? Thanks guys.
I'm pretty sure you can turn off the haptic feedback already.

I don't know if it works on the Ace, but there's an app called Screen Filter, that turns down the brightness of the screen and also has an option to turn off soft keys. It's useful for night reading.

I just got HTC Radar for T-Mobile.
Does anyone know how to turn off the haptic feedback on this phone?
I can turn off the vibrate from the sound & ringtone setting but can't find the way to turn this haptic feedback off when I touch the return/windows/search button.
Thanks in advance.
What do you mean haptic feedback ?
When my Radar ring if I touch back/win/search buttons nothing happens I have to slide up in case to answer the call.
As far as I know, you cannot turn off the haptic feedback. I think this applies to all windows phones.

What I mean is when you touch any of those 3 buttons, the phone vibrates to confirm our touch.

That's what I think because I've searched everywhere but can't find any clue.
Has anyone found a way to turn off the backlight for the search button? I was able to turn off all other capacitive button backlights but the search button for some odd reason, even though I changed it in file manager.

This is light bleeding from the screen
I have it too, just keep the buttons on dimmest settings, so it's not off completely.
